Wonderful Bosphorus view. Excellent swimming pool. Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Dislike: Stair carpet to restaurant is threadbare..not very 5-star. Banging music by the pool and banging music from the 16th floor bar going on till after midnight. Get rid of the terrible music and return the property to tranquility!

Really nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay. Room was nice, with choice of extra specialist pillows l, coffee machine was a great to have too. We enjoyed the roof top bar with wonderful views of the Bosporus. And the spa and gym was good too

I had recommended this hotel to 2 friends last & this year without visiting myself based on reviews that I had read. I am so glad that I had the chance to visit, as it was spectacular - lobby, staff, rooms, views.. the list is endless. Great hotel option with amazing views of the Bosphorus and within walking distance of lovely restaurants and bars. Madhu’s and 16 Roof in the hotel are also worth visiting, great meal/drinks at both. Will definitely be back!

The Good: The staff are warm and welcoming, and the location is reasonably good: Nişantaşı, with its shops and restaurants, is about a 15-minute walk away; Dolmabahçe Palace is about a 10-minute downhill walk; and Taksim Square is about 15 minutes away, partly uphill. The hotel itself is fantastic, with a huge lobby, several luxury boutiques, and one of the best views of the Bosphorus – especially from its excellent rooftop bar, 16 Roof (featured on the photo; reservations strongly recommended). My corner suite was also outstanding: truly colossal in size, with a huge dining table, plenty of sofas and armchairs for relaxing, watching TV, or enjoying a glass of wine, plus a large terrace with a table and chairs and direct access to the outdoor pool. The suite included two bedrooms, kitchen, two enormous bathrooms with Grohe fixtures, and even a washer. The gym and spa are equally impressive, featuring large indoor and outdoor pools and multiple jacuzzis. An Executive Lounge is also available on the 17th floor. The Bad: Nothing really to complain about without getting too nitpicky. The Mixed: Breakfast options in the Executive Lounge are somewhat limited by Türkiye standards, but adequate. Summary: Overall, this is an excellent 5-star hotel in a good Istanbul location. The hotel is luxurious, comfortable, and offers all the amenities you could want - while also being highly price-competitive.

Der Hotelservice ist leider verbesserungswürdig. Die Kellner laufen beim Frühstück planlos umher, alles etwas Chaotisch. Der Reinigungsservice (wenn er überhaupt kommt) ist verbesserungsbedürftig, unsere Zimmer waren nur oberflächlich sauber, alles ist verkalkt, die Bedienelemente sind lose, usw. Das Hotel ist trotzdem sehr schön, auch wenn es mit Detail hackt. In der Sauna funktioniert im Duschraum die Hälfte nicht, weil die Bedienelement kaputt sind. Leider war der Indoor Pool gesperrt, was schade war, weil das Wetter aktuell sehr wechselhaft war.

5 Sterne Hotel, aber nicht einmal Kaffee/Tee zur Selbstvorbereitung im Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Handtücher/Bademäntel mit Flecken (Lippenstift etc.). Handseife wurde nie kontrolliert und aufgefüllt. Keine Begleitung bis ins Zimmer, wir musste den (verwirrenden) Weg durch die Stockwerke und unterschiedlichen Gebäude-Flügel selbst herausfinden. Sehr lange Wartezeiten am Empfang. Äußerst fragwürdiges Klientel anzutreffen (alkoholisierte Gäste etc.). Hotel ist recht weit entfernt von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln wie Metro. Abends spielt IMMER laute Musik bis mindestens 2 Uhr nachts! Alles in allem: keine Empfehlung

This property was excellent. From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful. It smelled and looked great. Our room was perfect. The view was heavenly. The breakfast well organized even with all the guests that were present. The food was great. We were able to walk to multiple shops with 10-15 minutes of the hotel. Everyone was helpful and gave very detailed to answers to any questions we had. We even had someone pull a map out for us and shows alternate ways to travel to get where we desired. My wife and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be returning one day.

Check in chaotic, uninterested. Staff at breakfast a bit random, bfast included or not, call check in, yes included. Cold treatment. Concierge service and staff at gym reception excellent. The door men busy with themselves, taxi organisation a mess. Vans not available. ‘Call an uber’ we thought was a joke… Not friendly.

Restaurant at the lobby was unprofessional and rude. We waited 30 min and no one even came to say hello. For that reason we walked out and when we complained to the staff they seemed completely careless.

I have previously visited this hotel and decided to go back for the amazing service. This time, it was horrible. Upon checkin, I was put into the room of another guest with my same last night. The first name was never checked, I was told I received $100 in free spending, which turned out on checkout not true. The concierge gave me all wrong times for things I asked about. When the other guest with my last name went to checkin, he was told he was already checked in and charged for a new booking. At breakfast we were told we had to pay, when we already paid in advance. The whole stay was not as nice as it had been in the past and not the expected Turkish Hospitality at all!

No negatives about the hotel at all. Only consideration is location. If you plan to be out all day then the walk to the hotel from tram once a day no issue. If you like you return to the hotel a few times per day and don’t want to use taxi the hilly walk to the hotel maybe too much if multiple times per day. The hotel and staff is wonderful. The only downside is that you cannot really walk to any sightseeing location or restaurants or shops. You have to take a taxi to go everywhere or walk a lot to get to any place.

The Swissôtel Bosphorus was the perfect hotel for my wife and I. It was conveniently located within walking distance or a short taxi ride to most key sites and attractions. The staff were very helpful and room staff were excellent. The amenities including the gym and spa areas are first class The view from the room (Bosphorus Corner Room) was inspiring. Highly recommend.

Great location with a buzzing local area for food & drink that is safe and welcoming. Take good footwear to make the most of getting around, use the T1 to get into the old town or Uber. Would thoroughly recommend.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel with a strong focus on service. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, although a few in certain roles seemed to have a poor attitude and acted hastily without first checking our needs. The pool area, lobby, and on-site restaurants were noticeably overpriced. We had an all-inclusive package with breakfast and dinner, but weren’t informed that soft drinks were included with dinner. For example, a can of Coca-Cola was priced at €6, and a club sandwich cost €30. Overall, food and beverage prices were about 25–50% higher than those at luxury hotels in Sweden.

I have to say, I expected much more. The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the staff seemed more focused on receiving tips than providing good service. The hotel also charged around three times the usual price for almost everything. Overall, it was poor value for money.
