The location of the hotel is very centric for the transportation. There is plenty of points of interest near the hotel. Breakfast has choices. The staff in the front is very friendly. We did the Turkish hamman and they were able to accommodate children. This is a very family friendly hotel.

Very convenient to many attractions and there was a tram stop across the street. The view from the terrace breakfast room was excellent. Seating was available both inside and outside and was available in the evening as a place to sit and enjoy the view.

Stayed for the day during an airline transfer. Close walk to the mosques and bazaars. Plenty of nightlife. Hotel has a really nice rooftop restaurant that you can see the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia during sunrise. I would stay here again

Ein Geheimtipp! Ein einfaches Stadthotel, aber in top Lage, dazu noch eine Dachterrasse (auf der man frühstücken kann) mit extrem toller Aussicht auf das Marmarameer, die Hagia Sophia und die blaue Moschee. Das Frühstück ist für ein 3 Sterne-Hotel sehr lecker und vielfältig, das Personal ist von umwerfender Freundlichkeit. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen preiswerten angenehmen Aufenthalt in Istanbul.

Lapis Inn was at an excellent location and only a short walk away from Hagha Sofia and the blue Mosque and otter site seeing places. Everyfhing could be done by foot. Service was excellent and very helpfull. Breakfast was modest, but good enough to start the day. And the view from the roof terrace was breathtaking. And at the restautant next to the entrace you got a discount as a guest of Lapis Inn on the dinner. We ate their two times and thstvwss very good as well.

I really loved staying here and will come back next time in Turkey. The staff were wonderful!! They made being there really easy and were helpful in everything even arranging my taxi to the airport. The woman who does the massage and hammam was excellent.. I would totally recommend her. It was a great location… an easy walk to all of the main attractions.. and excellent restaurants just a step out of the door. My favourite was breakfast on the terrace and incredible view of the mosques…It was lovely being there!

Biddet inside the shower, felt unsanitary as water would splash out of the biddet onto you as you tried to shower with the restricted shower head. Shower was very mouldy. TV did not work at all. Room felt like it had no noise insulation, could hear everything, footsteps, people speaking. I stayed on the 4th floor underneath the rooftop restaurant, staff sat out on the 5th floor until 2am chatting, lack of insulation meant I could hear everything. Small selection for breakfast. Staff seemed indifferent and not approachable or friendly.

Room was tidy and clean. Alot smaller than they appear on pictures. The bathroom and especially the toilet was really tight! Location wise its brilliant, right in between blue mosque and hagia sofia. Metro stop is in front too. Lots of eatries. One disadvantage is that the hotel is in between numerous restaurants and cafes. So if you get a room that is facing them it will likely be noisy till late. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was decent. The restaurant on 5th floor has view of the mosques which is pretty nice Would definitely consider staying again for a short stay maybe not with family.

We had a fabulous family stay at the Lapis Inn. We had a spacious family room which was cleaned daily and fresh water bottles added every day. The views from the terrace are amazing and the surrounding historical sites within easy walking distance. The area is full of restaurants and shops. Breakfast choice was brilliant with eggs cooked to order perfectly (thanks chef!). The staff were excellent - all friendly and welcoming. Fully recommended.

We stayed in the corner suite (#501) on the top floor. There were only 2 rooms on that floor. Most of the floor was taken up by a terrace with an amazing view and the breakfast area. I loved the location on the hotel and the room. The AC unit blows straight into my head (I did not like it). The bathroom area was much newer than the bedroom area (I like both of them). The breakfast included many kinds of fresh cheese a couple of types of fruits, vegetables. There were 4 types of hot dishes for breakfast that were different every day. In the afternoon, there was tea and cookies for the guests. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The hotel is in an ideal location as all the shops and local attractions are near by including the mosques The only downfall is noise levels at night due to resterants near by I would come back as its an ideal location for the first time in Instanbul and the.view feom the rooftop is amazing

Posizione eccellente per visitare i monumenti La terrazza della colazione sicuramente il punto forte Unica pecca non potevamo aprire la finestra la camera era l'interno e dava su una cucina di un ristorante Anche le altre essendo palazzi vecchi avevano i palazzi attaccati ma almeno avremmo potuto aprire due minuti la finestra Per il resto il personale super gentile

Super zentrale Lage! Allerdings somit auch direkt zwischen einem Restaurant und einer Bar. Durch die mehrfach verglasten Fenster war die Musik bei geschlossenem Fenster kaum zu hören. Das Zimmer war leider sehr verwohnt, so lösten sich die Mosaikfliesen in der Dusche und auch das Laminat war an vielen Stellen kaputt. Die Reinigungskraft hat jedoch wirklich Ihr Bestes gegeben und sogar täglich die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Auch wenn etwas fehlte wurde es schnellstens zum Zimmer gebracht.

The receptionists were very kind and hospitable especially Selcuk. He made me feel welcome at the hotel and provided good guidance to me. Being my 1st time in Istanbul, this was really helpful. Perfect location close to attractions. It was a little hard to find as the sign was not very big, but location was perfect. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! We had a fabulous family stay at the Lapis Inn. We had a spacious family room which was cleaned daily and fresh water bottles added every day. The views from the terrace are amazing and the surrounding historical sites within easy walking distance. The area is full of restaurants and shops. Breakfast choice was brilliant with eggs cooked to order perfectly (thanks chef!). The staff were excellent - all friendly and welcoming. Fully recommended.

Room was tidy and clean. Alot smaller than they appear on pictures. The bathroom and especially the toilet was really tight! Location wise its brilliant, right in between blue mosque and hagia sofia. Metro stop is in front too. Lots of eatries. One disadvantage is that the hotel is in between numerous restaurants and cafes. So if you get a room that is facing them it will likely be noisy till late. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was decent. The restaurant on 5th floor has view of the mosques which is pretty nice Would definitely consider staying again for a short stay maybe not with family.

I had a great stay at this charming hotel. While it’s not very big, it was incredibly accommodating and had everything I needed. The staff were outstanding—special thanks to Yaseen and Zulfiye, who were especially helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. Hotel próximo a praça Sultanahamet esse e o ponto positivo. Limpeza horrivel, quarto após ser limpo, parecia sujo. Banheiro com vaso muito baixo, porta mal feita. Elevador muito pequeno. Café da manhã com comida fria, sem variedades esperada. Quarto pequeno demais, sem local para colocar mala. Armário que não cabe nada. Vista para nada, só via sujeira. Cidade cara com preços absurdos, muito mais cara do que Paris e não vale a pena voltar.

Shower head so badly calcium encrusted, water came only out the sides. Biddet inside the shower, felt unsanitary as water would splash out of the biddet onto you as you tried to shower with the restricted shower head. Shower was very mouldy. TV did not work at all. Room felt like it had no noise insulation, could hear everything, footsteps, people speaking. I stayed on the 4th floor underneath the rooftop restaurant, staff sat out on the 5th floor until 2am chatting, lack of insulation meant I could hear everything. Small selection for breakfast. Staff seemed indifferent and not approachable or friendly.

Very convenient to many attractions and there was a tram stop across the street. The view from the terrace breakfast room was excellent. Seating was available both inside and outside and was available in the evening as a place to sit and enjoy the view.

Ein Geheimtipp! Ein einfaches Stadthotel, aber in top Lage, dazu noch eine Dachterrasse (auf der man frühstücken kann) mit extrem toller Aussicht auf das Marmarameer, die Hagia Sophia und die blaue Moschee. Das Frühstück ist für ein 3 Sterne-Hotel sehr lecker und vielfältig, das Personal ist von umwerfender Freundlichkeit. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen preiswerten angenehmen Aufenthalt in Istanbul.

Catastrophique un conseille n’y allez allez surtout pas. Pour commencer il n’y a aucune isolation phonique que ce soit extérieur ou entre chambre, nous avons eu toutes les nuits les bruits de musiques et de fête en bas de l’établissement car il y a des restaurant qui sont d’ailleurs attrape touriste ainsi qu’une chicha… Petit déjeuner prévu à 7h30 et bien à 7h30 rien n’est prêt ! Résultat ça ne sert à rien de se lever tôt pour aller visiter puisque le petit déjeuner est imprenable à l’heure, par contre pour faire le petit déjeuner au lit là ils s’activent bien !!! Propreté boff puisque les chambre ne sont pas nettoyer tous les jours donc si vous rester 1 semaines vous allez avoir un seul nettoyage de chambre accumulation de boules de poussière et cheveux sans que ça pose problème et pas de changement de serviette aussi à nous de réclamer !!! Franchement j’ai passer un très mauvais moment ça a gâcher toutes nos vacances du début à la fin puisque impossible de dormir. Le seul point positif c’est la vue de la terrasse

Lapis Inn was at an excellent location and only a short walk away from Hagha Sofia and the blue Mosque and otter site seeing places. Everyfhing could be done by foot. Service was excellent and very helpfull. Breakfast was modest, but good enough to start the day. And the view from the roof terrace was breathtaking. And at the restautant next to the entrace you got a discount as a guest of Lapis Inn on the dinner. We ate their two times and thstvwss very good as well.
