Located 5 minutes walk from Taksim square a major tourist destination. The hotel has a lovely pool area and you wouldn't know you are in a busy city! Facilities are excellent - Spa, Outdoor Pool, gym and we'll maintained. I have been to this hotel many times over the years (last time in 2018) and the rooms are still in excellent condition. Breakfast is good and the Gozelme made fresh at weekends is a must. Staff very friendly.

The hotel is definitely dated. But the staff and food definitely make up for that. They were very professional. It was great to have access to the club level room on the 8th floor. They have great breakfasts and happy hours.

Waste of Money. This hotel can’t be a 5 star hotel. Extremely old building. Dirty. Carpets have stains everywhere. Hallways smell like rats died. Staff doesn’t corporate and asks you to upgrade to Presidential Suite to get something better but that’s also dirty. Stay away from this property if you like yourself

April 2024 - our family booked at the grand Hyatt on the “non-smoking” fourth floor. Unfortunately a long term occupant in the adjacent room smoked like a chimney. They supposedly asked the neighbour to stop and sprayed perfume in the hallway. Long story short they continued to smoke all night and ruined our stay. Doesn’t seem to be any real effort to enforce non-smoking policy at this hotel.

Would not recommend staying here. Our two big issues were the towels were always dirty- and yes I mean the “clean” ones they bring you. The first day we also tipped our cleaner in person after they cleaned our room but the second day we were gone all day so we left it in the room with a note. We came back to find the note and tip gone but our room completely uncleared (this was late in the day). This is not the kind of serving you expect for a Hyatt and I would not recommend staying here.

Our room was very clean and spacious. I love their bathroom most especially the shower. The water coming out was so strong and yet so gentle to the body that you would really enjoy taking shower to the max😀..It’s an elegant hotel!

Sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Aussenpool ist hervorragend. Wir haben aufgrund unserer Beschwerde ein anderes Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk bekommen was einwandfrei war. Es gibt sogar eine Nespresso Maschine im Zimmer. Taxi Service war toll. Leider sind die Preise fürs Essen und Trinken im Hotel etwas zu hoch. Das Hotel ist alt aber gut, ich würde empfehlen die Zimmer zu modernisieren und die alten Teppichböden zu entfernen.

Beautiful hotel clean rooms but the bed sat low and was not the most comfortable, also the a/c was not blowing that cold and the airflow was also low. The fan setting on the thermostat controller was set on high but it was blowing like it was on low or on off cause hardly and air came out.

I complained twice about noise in the room next door. And no one cared. The first call at 1 The guy was like oh what im listening. The second call it was around 2 am he is like well i can change your room. Im asleep in my PJ, do you want me to pack and move 2 am. They used to be good hotel with excellent customer service, now its the worst. Also the bar is closed most of the time aNd no plave to sit and snack except loung that has no good food

The Grand Hyatt is drab & tired. It needs a complete facelift. The beds are uncomfortable. The breakfast is subpar compared to other hotels in Istanbul. Had dinner, it was not good, strange tastes...and I love Turkish food. The place needs to be redone!!!!!

I like the layout of the restaurant, its patio flowing into the pool. The pool and the area around it are very pleasing, well designed and the grounds well manicured. The food and drink choices are good and the service is excellent. The bar and surrounding area with the piano is also well laid out, elegant yet warm. The service there was also good. Breakfast is sumptuous. Choices are excellent, bread and pastries fresh. Had dinner there, the ribeye was excellent, the choices again very good.
