My family stayed at the Mandarin Oriental when we arrived in Jakarta for 3 nights and then a night before we departed. We had two rooms which were both on the club lounge floor. Checkin was easy in the club lounge and we loved their breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour/Dinner. The service was amazing. I can't wait to go back. (I've had a similar experience at the Mandarin Oriental in Manilla). Great hotel chain!

Loved our stay! We booked into a club room and took advantage of the free airport meet and greet and Silver bird car to the hotel. Our room was spacious and lovely. We took full advantage of the club lounge for evening drinks, and like dinner. Breakfast, we ate in the main dining room on the ground floor. An amazing array of totally delicious food.

Mandarin Oriental er et super godt luksushotel, med en god lokation i Jakarta. Personalet var meget imødekommende, og det var en fornøjelse at bo på hotellet. Der var meget små ting, som manglende rengørring i minikøleskabet, og små sten på gulvet i badeværelset, som gør at de ikke får 10/10 - jeg vil bedømme den til 9,5/10. Helt sikkert et sted jeg vil komme tilbage, og nyde at bo på igen.

I stayed at Mandarine Oriental on 4th to 6th on Feb, got a lot if bugs bite likely mite. I'm going to stay again there next week from 11th to 13th. Same thing can't happen again, so please prepare the cleaned room!

Pros: - Staff is polite, friendly and helpful. - bed is comfortable Cons: - Extremely noisy at night. Vehicle noise is heard clearly whenever it passed the road. - air conditioner in room is noisy. It was a lot over-sized. And control is by on/off after reaching the set temperature. So, kept hearing the motor on/off noise - I stayed at suite room. But whole room got only one tissue box. Not handy. I asked housekeeper to provide two more, one was put next to bed, another was put on office desk. - no arm rest on office chair.

Jakarta was an unexpected stop on my journey home, and I booked the Mandarin Oriental at the last minute. The restaurants were great — I tried the cake shop and the level-two restaurant, both of which were excellent and reasonably priced. A great central hotel in Jakarta, with exceptional staff and service, some, if not the best I have had anywhere. Jonathan on the front desk and Zara in housekeeping were most noticeable in their great attitude and helpfulness, little things like that make a big difference and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Outstanding customer service. From the moment you arrive you experience VIP levels of service (even if you’re not!) The number of staff members who called me by name was impressive! Upgraded room was very appreciated. Neha one of the concierges was super helpful and was more than helpful and accommodating. My brother and I especially appreciated the farewell card she left for us. We will surely stay at the Mandarin again the next time we are in Jakarta.

Very nice hotel with very professional staff. There were some problem when checking in but they did a very good job solving it. Mr Raymond Soetrisno was very helpful and professional and solved all problems that we encounter and made our stay super nice. The location has always been super convenient and now you have the addition of the MRT as an alternative to get around. The property still looks great after all these years. I love the Mandrin for its convenient location and undisputable level of hospitality and service. My one major complaint is that the quality and variety of food reduced considerably during Covid and has simply never bounced back. Long gone are the days of fresh bacon and smoked salmon on the breakfast menu, as they have appealled more to the national market. There can be no doubt that recent more nationalistic protectionist laws have made it harder and more expensive to buy international goodss across indonesia, but that's the case in many countries throughout the world and should not be a excuse for a hotel of the standard of the Mandarin. The seafood on the lunch bufett was of a very low national standard. Quite dissapointing really for the price. But rooms and room service,... great!

The hotel is nice and the staff are the best - remembered me by name and my preferences and were very generous hearted in general! Some of the food is awesome, especially the American chocolate cake which was ethereal! The rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The bar also has some great cocktails. The not so great bits: It's a bit noisy because of where it is located (you can hear a faint hum of traffic across the night, had to put on a speaker with white noise to blunt it out). Breakfast has exactly the same menu every single day which gets boring quickly. The bar was nearly empty late into Friday night which was a bit odd. All in all, a pleasant stay but not without some issues.
