We were having a road trip so Park Plaza was one of the 5 different hotels we stayed. Shockingly this hotel was the only one which has misinformation on Hotels.com page. They wrote it down as they have car park but hotel does not have a car park, there is a car park in 5 mins and they are leading you to there by telling you they will make a discount. If there is no car park at the hotel, you shouldn't write down there is one. You also did not write about the charge of the car park as well. For a big hotel chain, it is a really huge mistake to make. We can walk and carry our luggage but not everyone in that condition and by giving misinformation you are leading people wrong. The hotel room was clean and big, had a nice view and after we talked 3 times w reception, they covered our car park. But again, next time I'm not going to stay here cause I believe they're giving this misinformation willingly to compete with other hotels nearby.

The staff was nice and helpful but many of the ammenities were out of commission. The restaurant is only open Mon-Thurs. There is no room service. The gym is not 24-7 as advertised. If youre not planning to use these ammenities, its not a problem, but i was so it affected the quality of my trip.

Was disappointed they weren’t able to assist with the (astronomic) local parking which cost £33 for 18 hours, unless pre booked. Auto checkout didn’t work and the lifts here are horrific, waiting 5 minutes each journey.

This hotel is very central and the room was as you'd expect for a hotel at this level.A good bath,plenty of hot water and the beds a little firm but acceptable.The staff were helpful. BUT. A BIG problem for us was that the advertised restaurant was only open 4 nights a week-closed at the weekend(!!!)Friday,Sat.,and Sunday. We stayed for 2 nights-yes,Friday and Saturday! The hotel was very busy with plenty of guests so I cannot understand why potential income would be thrown away. We are in our 70's and a restaurant is VERY important as my wife likes to dress up and wear her jewellery.We do NOT want to walk about anywhere at night outside the hotel! We frequently take city breaks and ALWAYS book only hotels with restaurants (bar food is ok but as a meal not an experience). We booked through Hotels.com,a we always do,so we took all our info from their listing.This hotel boasted their Chino Latino restaurant (sounded lovely!)but nowhere in the listing did it say there were restricted opening times.The hotel emailed me 3 times before the visit and never mentioned the restaurant restrictions. If they had we would have booked elsewhere. So if,like us,you want a decent restaurant and you happen to want to stay at the weekend-don't book here.

Checked into our room only to find vomit all over bathroom sink. Pretty disgusting really. Beds didn’t look as if they were made properly. Poor bed linen. Given 3 free drinks as compensation by reception staff who were very helpful. Got room changed without any hassle. To a supposed upgrade. No twin beds as requested but we made it work. Bathroom door in newly appointed room was made of glass and it was disgusting as well, covered in all sorts of stains. What’s that all about? Couldn’t be bothered changing room for a 3rd time. We were in a hurry to meet friends. Definitely won’t be making a return visit. Hotel on the whole is pretty shabby. On the plus side, breakfast was good and the staff in attendance serving were really lovely too. Very overpriced hotel for the state that it’s in. Not the best experience.

Rooms are only cleaned every three days but you can request anything from reception, however we were staying four nights and only had two teabags, two milk sachets and one bath towel between us. Our room was not checked or cleaned at all

Great room on the 12th floor with excellent views. Bed was massive & everything was clean. The only problem was it's quite noisy - the couple loudly banging upstairs didn't help but also the window blew open in the middle of the night and frightened the life out of us.

This is a really great hotel. The service from the staff was friendly and welcoming without being over the top. Rooms are large and comfortable. Good showers. Went above and beyond as we were staying after going to a very muddy Slam Dunk festival. On arrival at the hotel the door staff had small bin bags to put our boots in and packs of slippers to use to get to our rooms! An unexpected but very nice touch. The buffet breakfast was ok with a variety of choices but the coffee was rank! Located across the road from the train station and with plenty of car parks around it’s a great location at the south of the city centre. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

The Plaza is very close to the station and shops, but also quiet and private. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped, with a decent shower. Very helpful reception staff gave me a list of places to eat in town. If it continues to offer good prices it's on my list for places to stay when I visit Leeds.

I've stayed here many times before,this time it was very disappointing. The service was terrible. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. We booked breakfast, it took 15 minutes for the coffee to come round. I asked if I could order some vegetarian sausages, asked twice where they were. Gave up after 25 minutes. The place has sadly gone downhill service wise.

Checked in and Stella on reception was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The bedroom, which was on the 16th floor was spacious and clean. The walls however are not very good at dampening the sounds throughout the night of people talking in the hallway, music playing from other rooms at 4am and the final wake up call which I do not recall asking for which was the sound of a couple ‘having a good time’ in the room opposite. When informing reception and security of the banging of the bed against the wall and the screams of sexual pleasure had disturbed my nights sleep. The response I received was ‘there were on women staying in the hotel last night’. Very poor customer service, actually zero customer service at all. For the price point I would recommend The Marriott only a few minutes walk from Park Plaza

I am disabled. From beginning to end the staff could not have done more for me. Particularly the night security guy who absolutely went out of his way for me. The only issue i had was the corner of the sink unit in my bathroom stuck into my leg when sat on the loo. They should round this corner off to prevent injury.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Efficient a great customer service. The sweets treats were a lovely extra surprise. Rooms were spacious, well presented and clean. Breakfast was really good. Plenty to choose from, from english to continental. Excellent stay!

Really good stay at the Park Plaza Hotel Leeds.Very friendly and helpful staff, well soundproofed rooms so a very good sleep! Nice big room whith great views stayed on 18th floor! Good breakfast only negative is that the fruit juice at breakfast is not very good, they are very week as if very watered-down, the rest of the offering was good! The bar on the ground floor was a good place to sit and people watch. perfect location in view of the rail station and a short walk to evening you need in town! The only thing you need to be aware of ( not an issue with the hotel ) but when you walk along Boar Street from the hotel into the town you will find a lot of homeless people in doorways begging so just be aware! Would really recommend this hotel when looking to stay in Central Leeds,plenty of good bars and restaurants within a short walk!

Stayed on a Saturday night, we paid for 2hrs early check in @£7.50 ph. Double room was lovely and clean, everything you need, kettle, iron, hairdryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash dispensers. Restaurant not open over the weekend for some reason but plenty of places nearby, we went to the hotel bar for a few cocktails to be told he wasn't "doing " cocktails. So we went somewhere else. Breakfast buffet was a bit ropey, usual choices of cooked, continental, fruit etc. The hot food wasn't very warm, the bacon and mushrooms were sitting in loads of oil and hashbrowns were lukewarm and dry. Felt sorry for the 2 staff members we seen, 1 lady was serving the coffee's and tea's and the other lady was booking you in, seating you, filling up the bread etc, didn't see anyone clearing tables in the half hour we were there, they could have a staff shortage possibly, all in all it was just ok.
