Hotel was clean enough the issue was that only one lift (out of the three) was working when we were there and there was no other way to get out of the building so ended up stuck waiting for a lift for 15 mins as every time it came to our floor it was full going up and down

The room was super clean, we got the family room which was 2 I believe queen sized beds, super comfy pillows. Shower was nice and all the amenities were great. I also spent some time in the gym which was completely empty, it’s very small but if there’s not a lot of people then it’s perfectly sized.

Amazing breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent service, comfortable bed, and good location, near to everything you need, plus 50% off parking fee as long as you will park at Trinity Car park and register the car upon check in. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to our friends.

Great location for shopping, eating, entertainment. Would stay there again. Staff, room, facilities all great. Just beware that you need to park in the right car park to get discount - it's the one on the right, not the left!

We got the executive package, free use of lounge.. lovely snacks etc..tea, coffee, and then alcohol between hours of 5.30-7.30 pm.. perfect breakfast! Nice hotel in the centre of Leeds. Staff great too

Reception staff were excellent, toom qas nice and clean. Biggest let down was how slow the lifts were and the inability to just walk down the stairs. Onky 2 out of the 3 wrre functioning meaning each morning we waited at least 10 minutes for the lifts, often the one that arrived on our floor was already full. Otherwise great stay

The best for me on this hotel were the fact that they had a Peloton Bike and the Italian restaurant was really good

The room was clean and nice but there was a dirty towel folded with the clean ones also it would have been nice to have some robes to wear for the price you have to pay to stay there.Overall it was nice

As soon as we entered the hotel, it had a lovely feel to it. The lady in reception was very organised and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and so quiet. We used the restaurant for our evening meal, which was waiter service, and for breakfast which was self service. Food was really good. One of the members of staff working in the restaurant during breakfast was especially efficient and we had a nice chat with her about the hotel and Leeds, as it was our first visit to both!

This hotel is convenient for the city centre and from the train station. The room was comfortable. A couple of the towels were very worn and the area under the sink hadn't been thoroughly cleaned.

Everything from our stay from start to finish at the hotel was exceptional. Staff friendly. Room was amazing and clean with nothing to complain about. Breakfast was yummy with an excellent choice.

Just an overnight stay with girls to celebrate a birthday. We had a family with two doubles which worked out great. Check in was quick, room clean and no issues. Booked in the morning for breakfast which was fine.

Hotel is perfectly situated near shopping, bars and restaurants. Front desk staff were great. Bar and restaurant felt a little stuffy. Bar mainly had table service and on our second night were not very accommodating to hotel guests and we were turned away. Room was nice but duvet and towels were not great quality for a 4star hotel. Could ear music from surrounding bars until early morning. Lots of wrappers under the bed and bathroom was not super clean.

Great location, and at less than £100 for a night in the city centre including 24 hours parking, a great price. Inevitably given the central location it was a bit noisy until the early hours from nearby clubs, but the room's sound insulation was pretty good. Noise from returning guests in the corridor was sadly noticeable, even though they weren't rowdy or anything.

I’d booked a suite as I was staying for a week’s holiday and a regular room would have been too small. The room was fine but the noise from the bars outside was formidable. I asked for a change of room and this too had the same noise problem. I complained to reception on the first and second days and told them the room was not worth the £1350 I’d paid for it because of the noise getting in the way of sleep. I was told that she would speak to the GM and get back to me. That didn’t happen. I didn’t want to spend any more time complaining or arguing that the management must know about the noise problem - when I did I was told, ‘You’ve booked a city centre hotel and it’s bound to be noisy.’ I decided to just wait for the receptionist to get back to me but that didn’t happen: nobody got back to me. The second room was stiflingly hot even with the heating off and ‘air con’ on. Apparently all the suites are on the front corners of the building where there is a preservation order on the facade ‘preventing’ the installation of triple glazing - it would cost money to properly triple glaze it but this hotel is about making money, not spending it. Breakfast was barely warm and items were replenished too slowly. Some of the chairs in the bar area were stained and squalid-looking. Overall, I’d say it was barely a 3* hotel with very poor customer service. The 50% refund for the first night never materialised either! A very disappointing experience not to be repeated.

The hotel was clean and in a great central location. However, being so central there is a lot of noise on weekends from nearby restaurants and bars, resulting in being woken up multiple times throughout the night.

The room was spacious. Great location, so close to the train station but away from the main road. I upgraded to the executive lounge which was great! Worth the food and drinks that were available. However for an executive room I would expect the bed to be more comfortable. Even in the midst of winter there was a very thin summer duvet on. Which meant we were cold. (You can put the heater on but it was loud and we didn’t want it overnight). The pillows were not great quality. Overall enjoyed the stay but beds need to be reviewed as it impacted on our sleep.

The rooms we stayed in was very noisy from music outside until 5am and we found it difficult to sleep.

The staff were very friendly, the main issue if you are staying in this central location is the nightclub near by very noisy till around 2.30am, the beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in for a hotel they are rock hard and the pillows are terrible

Great rooms and the perfect central location in Leeds. Showers could use higher water pressure or a change in shower head.

Room was not cleaned until 3.45. Could not get through to housekeeping, so went to reception desk where I was told the delay was due to guests checking in/out. What about the paying guests who were still in residence? Also the chairs in the bar and restaurants need deep cleaning or replacing as badly stained.

We had a terrible experience due to double booking. They can't find our name in the system despite the confirmation email. The Marriott hotel gave us the room in the middle of the night, which was already occupied. Luckily, no one was inside the room; otherwise, we would have compromised the privacy. There was no proper communication between Hotels.com and Marriott to resolve the issue, and finally, we communicated with Hotels.com to find the booking. Finally, after many hours of waiting, they were given the room, which was inconvenient with the accessible restrictions.

Fantastic service from the staff even prior to check in. I requested 9 rooms on the same floor if possible and the possibility of an early check in for some of the rooms. Claudia and Emanuel sorted all of this along with a speedy check in for us all.

Our go to hotel in Leeds. High quality, clean & well appointed with the perfect location. Add to that the most important feature…the staff. A team that treats you & each other like extended family. Shout out to the very pleasant young man who checked us in, tall, dark, plus Claudia, Nuna & Nicki who all made our visit extra special. Special shout out to the ever present Paul….present when not even in the building, who was instrumental in helping with my wife’s birthday celebrations. Thank you Paul. Altogether an outstanding set of individuals who make Marriott Leeds truly shine.

Great location for train station. Approx 4-5 min easy walk. Shops, restaurants etc steps away from Hotel.

An amazing hotel, right in the centre of Leeds. Super comfortable room with city views.

Check in was 3pm, had to wait just rover an hour until after 4pm to get our room as it wasn’t ready. Not easy with a 4 and 6 year old to keep them entertained, we had already been out for a walk around so they were restless and we were wanting to unwind before going out for dinner. Hotel facilities was nice but extremely noisy at night time with sirens and drunks constantly waking the kids up ! Not the hotels fault but some better glazing would help.

Went to event at Leeds Arena very well positioned. Two minutes from railway dropped bags off 15mins leisurely walk to venue. Lovely room, staff very helpful, decent breakfast. Would return and recommend.

Hotel and staff were lovely but breakfast let the overall score down:( I am coeliac and allergic to raw milk so requested a soya latte and gluten free bread waited for half an hour then gave up and went elsewhere to have breakfast despite paying for it for both days I didn;t have on either ocassion!

Great location for shopping and restaurants.we have stayed many times at this hotel and there s was the first time we haven’t enjoyed breakfast,hot food only lukewarm and poor selection of fruits and yogurt.

Everything was great at this hotel yet again, we’ve stayed a few times as it’s perfect for events at the arena. The breakfast is amazing too.

Last minute getaway. Close to the shops. Great for eating in and out. Executive lounge was great. Breakfast was a bit poor but on yhe whole we had a nice time.
