Everything was fine. It’s a nice hotel. Close to the centre. Close to the train station. Room was nice. Restaurant food was ok but the restaurant itself was very cold. The car park is difficult to drive around, unless you drive a tiny car. I’d happily stay here again.

A standard city centre Hilton. Convenient, decent quality, clean and comfortable. Nothing particularly special. Car park is interesting with very tight turns indeed to move between floors, not for the faint hearted!

Excellent hotel. Only bad point is the parking garage is so narrow, a bigger suv like the one I rented, took some maneuvering to get around. The room is a bit too grey. It could do with more colour.

Cleanliness could not be faulted. The bed was very comfortable. I felt there was a lack of food choice after 10 pm and a member of staff was a little off hand when telling me what was available. Both lifts weren’t working when I was due to check out so I used the service lift. I was on the 12th floor. The kettle in the room didn’t turn itself off. A mini fridge would have been good to keep the water cool and not enough tea and coffee and milk was provided. Otherwise it was an excellent stay !

Excellent hotel. The parking is not tor the faint-hearted. Roomed were all ok, breakfast was good. The smell in the ground floor was somewhat worrying. Almost a sewage hint to it, so quite off putting. There are roadworks directly outside the hotel, so not very welcoming, but appreciate that this is beyond the hotel’s control But all staff were great and would recommend

Generally clean and welcoming however 0 level off the street to get lift to reception was a little smelly but tidy. Warm welcome at reception. Room again clean and tidy however, comfort of bed is different for everyone. Bed was comfy however the pillows appeared plump and soft (2each) however when we went to sleep, the pillows might as well not have been there. They went flat as a pancake and we had to keep folding them over for some height. It was too late to ask for more pillows. If your car is a small SUV or bigger, please note, the car park is SO Tight around the corners and the spaces. There are signs up telling you this too. We saw someone in front of us with one of those large ranger truck things and it nearly got stuck trying to turn down one of the ramps. The hotel itself is in a great spot for the centre and is right next to the train station.

Needs to be caveated that renovation work was taking place. On arrival the hotel smelled strongly of drains, not a great first impression. Room desperately needs updating, bed was very comfortable but room very poor in comparison to other 4 star hotel available in Leeds. No fridge, air conditioning barely worked.

Check in okay. No perks or anything offered at check in and no mention of Hilton honours. Opening the door the room had a horrific smell. Like an old foist smell mixed with chemicals and generally state odour. I called reception who said they’d send someone from housekeeping. On closer inspection of the room it had clearly not been cleaned. Dirty and hair on the bedsheets. Black hair handing from the chair and all over the carpet- I’m red. Something smeared all over the chair leather, mould and scum in the shower. Bed sheets not even tucked in. After 15 minutes someone came from housekeeping, basically said there was nothing she could do, we can’t open the windows to air the room out so just call reception to get a new room. Called reception and told them twice what house keeping had said. Clearly wasn’t listening as he just kept saying wait for housekeeping. Then hung up on me. Great. Called back and was told they would try to find a room but couldn’t tell me how long it would take. Told them, as I had discussed at check in, I was in a rush and now had only 30 minutes before I had to leave the hotel for a black tie event. She said she still couldn’t let me know and they’d call me back. I asked her if I was suppose to start getting ready or wait? I was then put on hold for another 5 minutes and eventually given another room. This one was marginally better and looked like it had actually been cleaned. Actually had a card in there to tell you who cleaned it…other did not.

The staff were very nice, and coped well with the problems caused the worldwide Microsoft bug. The only problem was with the AirCon system which couldnt be switched off or controlled, but did anyhow keep the room very cool.

Nice clean hotel, convenient for everything, only downside was I was in a room next to the busy railway station and it was soo noisy I couldn’t sleep and was woken up at 5 am from the train, probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is very old, lots of fixtures seemed to be broken and to say it was a junior suite it wasn’t as nice as Id have hoped. Plenty of space but a smallish bed. Old grey decor. The entrance to the hotel is not nice but once you get up to reception level it’s nice. Needs a refurb and a rethink. If they’ve got offers on it’s a good price as location is decent. Car park is really tiny so maybe better to park in trinity car park.

Aircon didn’t work. Shower curtain railing wasn’t screwed in properly, leaving it loose and the middle part of the railing further down - causing water to escape. Breakfast was lovely tho!

Very tight for for any large family Car and a height restriction of 6’2 ( I think it was ) We had a suit room which was nice but shower had no power at all ☹️ which for a room at almost £500 I think I paid was very poor.

The hotel itself is so convenient for traveling and is directly in the city centre the hotel room was really cosy and had everything I needed for my two nights stay Breakfast buffet service was really nice with plenty of options to choose from Maybe having a mini fridge in the room would be nice to keep items refrigerated

Good hotel and good central location. Beds were big and comfortable but asked for extra pillows and they never arrived. Paid for parking at check in but they hadn’t processed it so couldn’t get out at the barrier and had to reverse up, park again and then go back to reception. Could have been better.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate 1 child who is 5 year old , and has autism. They gave us a upgraded room, so it was quiet. Staff were so pleasant to speak with and service was fast. The manager was like all staff very polite, and helpful. Our child screams constantly due to Autism, and staff were patient and helped all the time Definitely recommend for families. I am SM stayed room 602 in 4th till 5th Jan 2025

We had to change rooms as the air con was not working properly. We ended complaining 3 times before we were offered an alternative room. This meant the first of our 2 nights stay we had no sleep which impacted on our whole time away. The staff were all very pleasant and apologetic and we were given 2 drinks vouchers as an apology. Unfortunately the only member of staff who wasn’t pleasant was the bar staff.

Had a great, short stay in the Hilton Leeds City. It was perfect for attending the football, as the Matchday buses to the ground were right across the road. We were upgraded on arrival, and Sachin made the experience very personal as he contacted us by text message within an hour of arrival to ensure everything was good for us. Common areas very modern, would definitely recommend.

Great stay, it was a shame the bar was under construction but it did not impact my stay. This being said, Small parts of the room could of done with a refresh much like the bar as it was hard to read the air conditioning unit buttons as the labels had been scratched off but overall it was a lovely room.
