Very convenient for Tesla open to all chargers on the holiday inn car park. Sagar Indian restaurant 5 mins drive is great. Comfortable stop for Liverpool and Manchester.

Clean and new room, very convenient for M6 off J29, great hot breakfast included. Bit noisy with dogs barking from early in the morning (its a dog friendly hotel) but wouldnt put me off staying again. Excellent value at £68 for a double room inc breakfast.

The check-in was easy and the beds comfortable, but most of all we loved that you could choose where you sit at breakfast (which was very nice) and everything was very relaxed!!! All the staff particularly the young lady on duty at breakfast-time was friendly, helpful and efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Also dog friendly - Which was why we chose Holiday Inn over Premier!

One night business trip, easy access to motorway. Free overnight parking when resident of hotel. Lovely large lobby, good buffet breakfast. Rooms are modern & in good condition. Super large bed, good bathroom with large very clean shower. Have stayed here previously & will stay again.

Check in was super easy with lovely staff. Room size was generous as was shower size. Cleanliness was of a high standard throughout room and hotel. Hairdryer in room and toiletries, plenty of towels. Tv and free internet. Ate in room due to having busy day and staff were happy to supply cutlery which was kind considering they have their own restaurant. Breakfast was amazing ! Choice and quality was above expectations in fact I have paid more for breakfast in places than what I actually paid for room and breakfast! Restaurant was clean and staff cleared tables and refreshed food quickly. Checking out was again easy and I was asked if I enjoyed my stay and if there were any problems. Would stay here again and happy to recommend. Room 203

The room was poor quality, as the sofa bed was worn and did not look very clean. The carpet was stained in places. The bed was terrible, as the base sections were not fitted together and it was very uncomfortable. The quilt was showing at one corner where the cover was ripped and looked dirty. On a positive note all the staff were very helpful and made sure we had a good dinner and breakfast service.

We stayed for a couple of nights recently, on arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member at reception, she gave us sound advice re onward travel, thank you. We were allocated room 17, big spacious with a shower, unfortunately there was a musty smell lingering, I thought it might have been dust etc from the a/c heating system but I came to the conclusion that the sofa and carpet could have done with a deep clean. It didn't put us off our stay, location was great, right off the m6 motorway

Great nights sleep as usual. Plentiful and delicious breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of drinks in bedroom. Hot shower. On ground floor this time and very quiet. Air conditioner didn't work and felt temperature in room drop at night so we needed heat. Staff gave us a convection heater which did the trick. Will use again. Great service from all staff.

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. My only complaint would be the Air Conditioning. It can be turned up, but not down past 18°. We now live in a world that is dominated by global warming. Rooms need to be mych cooler especially in heat that is in the late 20° - early 30°. Staff should be allowed to lower the temperature if necessary. There would be no need for fans.

We've stayed at this hotel before and had better experiences. This time on arrival we were told that the restaurant wasn't running in the evening due to staffing issues (although a very limited pizza option of takeaway/delivery menus were offered). If you are a motorway hotel it is unacceptable to be springing this on customers as they arrive. The mattress on the bed in our room was also well past the end of its life - much lower in the middle than the sides which is uncomfortable if you are a couple. Bathroom was tired with a shower door than didn't close. And the lift is very much at the end of its days! Staff were lovely as always but we won't return. There are better options in this area.

All the staff are lovely and are extremely helpful in accommodating guest needs. Sharon, Leanne and Joanna were especially helpful and are a great team. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The breakfast had brilliant choices and the food was lovely. The location was perfect for Chorley, Preston and Bamber Bridge. We will be coming back.

Great hotel very modern and clean They had my requests for extra pillows and top sheets in place when we arrived. Will most certainly stay again. Breakfast was great. Only a little niggle for negative : Check on procedures - reception lady on checking in could have had a smile and welcoming approach to their guests rather than a robotic action on check in

Hotel was full of rowdy football teams which they knew about because one of the catering staff warned us. We are elderly and disabled and asked for a quiet room but could not sleep for noise until early hours and then again slamming doors at 6am! We came home after the first night having booked for two nights. Management were aware as they said the hotel was full with these teams and we have asked for a fully refund for Sunday night as we left noon Saturday.

As my wife is allergic to mushrooms the evening staff went Through the menu to ensure she was safe. At breakfast the waiting staff provided her with her own serving utensils to avoid contamination and offered to cook a special batch oh hash browns as they were next to the mushrooms. Great work and customer service

A one night stay to break up a long motorway journey and the hotel was good for this purpose being just off the M6. Rooms were a good size with a very good shower. Bathroom was spotless and bed reasonably comfortable. Points lost for the standard of food in the evening which was abysmal and borderline inedible. Bar was poorly stocked and ran out of all but one white wine.

A really good hotel, service and room cleaning very good. Fantastic breakfast with good selection. Only downside was there was no childrens menu and evening meal choice was very limited. Bar selection of drinks was also very limited.
