Accommodation was ok and staff were friendly, clean rooms couldn’t ask for much more. The restaurant let the hotel down. Firstly when my husband asked about booking a table the first waiter wasn’t friendly. We ordered a mocktail which never came we had to query it before they realised it’s because they ran out of mint. The food was ok but expensive, not many vegetarian options. They advertised sticky toffee pudding which was actually syrup pudding with a pot of toffee sauce. I was gutted was so looking forward to it ask don’t eat puddings often. when I queried it the waiter they thought I was weird, I suggest you google sticky toffee pudding recipe! Great that children under 5 eat free but no vegetarian option on the menu, we had to ask, when it came out it was missing veg which was advertised. Breakfast was ok, although the cooked breakfast buffet had no vegetarian options and they used caged eggs! Shameful i hope they find it in their conscious to move to free range. Would stay in the accommodation again but would find somewhere else to eat!

There's nothing particularly standout to highlight — the overall experience simply fell short of expectations. The hotel feels dated and would benefit from modernised facilities. Staffing levels appeared insufficient during check-in, which made the process slow and far from seamless — this is an area that needs meaningful improvement. Breakfast was a pleasant enough experience, though a broader selection of choices would elevate it further. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms well-maintained, which was appreciated. However, a few things gave cause for concern: the air conditioning produced an odd vibrating noise, the bedspread required closer inspection before we felt comfortable, and the window didn't appear to adequately keep out the elements. The TV also offered very limited channel options. On the value front, the pricing felt slightly steep given the standard of amenities on offer. In a world where travellers are genuinely spoilt for choice, this property didn't quite measure up. As a long-standing Hilton Honours member, I had higher expectations — and unfortunately this stay was a bit of a let-down.

Positives - clean and spacious room and bathroom. Plenty of storage space and lots of plugs! - hotel was well maintained and clean no real issues there. - gym was well equipped - free weights, bench, treadmill, glider, bike and a pelaton. - breakfast buffet was plentiful - nice that can ask for ready to order eggs if want something different. Wanted plain omelette for our little one and provided for us no problem. - had dinner one evening - portion sizes are good and food came piping hot! - spacious car park. - hot cookies on arrival! - loved that there was an activity table for kids in the reception with colouring, building blocks and little chairs. It helped during check in to keep the little one busy. - lifts come quick and very frequent. Improvements - have to pay £7.50 per night parking, feel this should be reduced more or complementary if stay minimum nights as other hotels do. - shower head was leaking the whole time! - weird dry mould in bathroom which wasn’t nice to see. - stayed 3 nights and didnt have no room cleaning even though left sign on door for 2 days we was out. Needed clean towels and bin changes especially with a little one - asked at reception had to wait nearly 2hours for someone to come and give towels and empty the bins! Not great - telephone in room didn’t work so had to keep going to reception if needed something.
