Beautiful old building with alot of character. Our room, especially the bed was very comfortable. Since its a old building there is no elevator so if thats a problem take note. Everything we needed was there, even a mini fridge. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Excellent location for exploring historic Belvidere. Charming 1831 building very nicely modernized. Plenty of parking on site. Breakfast is pretty much Continental, plus yoghurt and cereal.

The Belvedere Inn is quaint and wonderful. One of my favorite features is the beaufirul lanai (porch) around three sides of the second floor. The staff were very welcomingand went iut of their way to be helpful. At least three restaurants were a short walking distance away, parking onsite was free, and the town is quiet with lots of trees. Also, itʻs twenty minutes from the wonderful Lakota Wolf Preserve.
The Belvedere Inn is quaint and wonderful. One of my favorite features is the beaufirul lanai (porch) around three sides of the second floor. The staff were very welcomingand went iut of their way to be helpful. At least three restaurants were a short walking distance away, parking onsite was free, and the town is quiet with lots of trees. Impeccably maintained and restored hotel. The new owners had just taken over a couple of weeks ago, and were very friendly and accommodating. My suite was very roomy and comfortable. Continental breakfast did not disappoint. The area around the hotel was very historic and walkable. Overall a great stay, will definitely be back.

The hotel is beautiful and being greeted by one’s first name on arrival was refreshing. The breakfast is serve-yourself, and there is something for everyone’s tastes. The bed was hard. Some enjoy a hard bed, but too hard for me. This hotel has a lot of stairs and no elevator, so it is not for those with mobility issues. The soap, shampoo, lotion was premium snd ample. Parking is easy and plentiful.

Pleasant stay in an old but updated building. No freshly baked goods but a lot of options, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc., for breakfast. Within driving distance to wineries, and points of interest like the SteelStacks and the Kreidersville Covered Bridge. There's no elevator, but staff will help you with luggage.

I recently stayed at Hotel Belvidere in New Jersey, and it was an excellent experience. Jennifer was incredibly accommodating and ensured everything was perfect for my stay. The hotel was very quiet and impeccably clean, making it a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, clean Victorian building and town. Very quiet. Justin met us when we got there and also lives on the property so he is around if you need anything. Plus he is just very pleasant to talk with. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Great location for us to get to where we needed to go. We checked out the area and rode our bicycles on the Columbia Trail. We plan on visiting sometime in the future.

Jennifer and Justin have really made this hotel something special. Both are exceedingly nice and friendly folks who clearly have a lot of love for the property and its general upkeep. Room itself was nicely sized and clean. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but overall fine. Pillows could use a refresh, hopefully something on the agenda. Would stay here again!

Quant hotel. No one was around for checkin. I had to call and person came out. Checkin was ok. Our room was cute and clean but the window had up and down slats shades and 3 slats were missing. Since people could walk by window it was a problem. I opened closet door and put towel over window. Desk person told me it was new owners and they hadn’t had chance to fix. Privacy is a big deal.

Our stay at the Belvidere Hotel was a nightmare. Upon returning from a nearby lantern festival, we found our room freezing cold with a non-functional thermostat. No staff was available after 9 PM to address these issues, leaving us stranded. The hotel's front door is left wide open all night without security, which is especially concerning given the location's dark history. The staff's dishonesty worsened our experience. They lied about someone occupying our room, only retracting when confronted with video evidence. The owner's behavior was equally disappointing. Despite catching her son and herself in lies, she refused any refund or compensation, showing complete disregard for customer satisfaction and repeat business. We later discovered the hotel's grim past. The adjacent area was used for public hangings, treated as festive events. Even more disturbing, the hotel's basement once hosted auctions for the execution ropes, many from innocent victims. This macabre history added to our unease. We left without staying, feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. Despite this, management still refused to refund any of the cost of the unused booking. The Belvidere Hotel fails on every level: dysfunctional amenities, absent night staff, dishonest employees, unethical management, and a chilling historical background. The owner's unwillingness to make amends, even after their deception was exposed, indicates fundamental problems with how this establishment is run.

The hotel messaged me in the morning of our arrival -asking for estimated time. The text included information for parking, where in the area to eat, things of interest. on arrival we were show our room , with instructions on TV use, time that breakfast started, instructions of how to reach owner in case of an emergency after front desk closed, WIFI password. Beds were comfortable, everything was spotless & the stay was wonderful. through no fault of the establishment, the fire alarm for the building went off at 6:40 am & the establishment was quickly evacuated. It was a false alarm & we were able to have a nice breakfast before we left.

I was driving into town from out of state, arriving Saturday night and leaving Monday. It was easy to book with hotel Belvidere, and I received a very convenient text on the day of with the check in and parking info, and wifi password. I was able to give them our estimated check in time, and I really appreciated that check in closed at 9pm (we arrived at 8pm). I didn’t get to explore the area much but it is a lovely, quiet town I’d love to visit again.

The hotel had great promise. The architecture is beautiful, but the property is woefully understaffed. We waited for 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come to the office so we can check in. There was no bell or phone number to call. The bed in the room was uncomfortable and sagging in the middle.

Found this after looking to spend a day at the Land of Make Believe. Hotel was very nicely maintained, very solid breakfast selection for not having a kitchen. Would recommend to anyone who is staying in the area. Found a few cute shops in the town as well.

I was driving into town from out of state, arriving Saturday night and leaving Monday. It was easy to book with hotel Belvidere, and I received a very convenient text on the day of with the check in and parking info, and wifi password. I was able to give them our estimated check in time, and I really appreciated that check in closed at 9pm (we arrived at 8pm). I didn’t get to explore the area much but it is a lovely, quiet town I’d love to visit again.

This is a beautiful, clean Victorian building and town. Very quiet. Justin met us when we got there and also lives on the property so he is around if you need anything. Plus he is just very pleasant to talk with. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Great location for us to get to where we needed to go. We checked out the area and rode our bicycles on the Columbia Trail. We plan on visiting sometime in the future.

Found this after looking to spend a day at the Land of Make Believe. Hotel was very nicely maintained, very solid breakfast selection for not having a kitchen. Would recommend to anyone who is staying in the area. Found a few cute shops in the town as well.

Excellent location for exploring historic Belvidere. Charming 1831 building very nicely modernized. Plenty of parking on site. Breakfast is pretty much Continental, plus yoghurt and cereal.

Impeccably maintained and restored hotel. The new owners had just taken over a couple of weeks ago, and were very friendly and accommodating. My suite was very roomy and comfortable. Continental breakfast did not disappoint. The area around the hotel was very historic and walkable. Overall a great stay, will definitely be back.

Morning breakfast was supposedly to open at 7 am , didn’t open til 10:30 am which meant no coffee, unacceptable, window blinds were missing pieces , there is a balcony around hotel, anyone could walk by and look into room , so I took the extra blanket in closet and hung over window to have privacy, a little attention to detail need to be done , or get out of the hotel buisness

Pleasant stay in an old but updated building. No freshly baked goods but a lot of options, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc., for breakfast. Within driving distance to wineries, and points of interest like the SteelStacks and the Kreidersville Covered Bridge. There's no elevator, but staff will help you with luggage.

This is a charming older style of inn, nothing like the cookie cutter hotels that litter the landscape. I'd give it a five if the breakfast offered more hot offerings, though the eclectic choice of items was kinda fun, and if the mattresses were outstanding (they fell a bit short of that, but not bad). The innkeeper is engaging and has good restaurant suggestions. We came on a Monday in late summer and the town was dead; most stores and restaurants were closed. It picked up a little on Tuesday. If we return to the area, I would definitely stay here again. It is a good value and a fun hotel.
