Exterior could use a facelift the room was clean and inviting. The gentleman who checked us was polite and friendly.

My room was clean and comfortable. The outside of the property could use a little more attention. A yellow jacket colony was building a home inside a door frame which you needed to be careful around.

Outside is in rough shape and could use some love, but the rooms themselves are clean and nice. The text-to-check in system is a bit weird and I wish there was a more traditional front desk. The office is physically there, so I wonder if it was a Covid / cost casualty

The room was brand new an very clean. The new owners will do great once al renovations are complete

It was only one night, it was great rest, they still working on remodeling, but the room is beautiful a/c great, hot water also, overall the room was perfect nice and clean, i believe once they finished remodeling is gona be perfect, I'll come back to se it. Combine Ridge is a clean, cozy, and convenient motel. The large screen TV and upgraded bathroom are nice features. We appreciated the microwave and fridge in our room. Mirror in bathroom is too low to be useful for shorter folks! Exterior needs painting and repairs. Overall, comfortable stay with no fuss.

As someone with allergies, this place was on the dustier side in important areas. Headboard, behind the bed, side table and on lamps. I’m also particular about hair in showers. There was no toilet tissue in the room. Other than that, the staff was accommodating, the place is convenient. Simple fixes and it would be perfect. I wound up extending my stay because the issues weren’t major

The first thing i noticed was the refrigerator was not clean. There were dead gnats in it. Later we noticed some small ants in the bathroom and eventually found one on our bed. In general, it appeared to be clean. The outside of the motel was rough. The inside looked quaint. Bed was comfortable. No hand towels. Under the bed sheet, the mattress cover was stained and dirty.

Room clean, TV working fine. Heat hard to adjust to temp. No heat in bathroom.

I found ants in the microwave and the counter beside it and the fridge every morning.

Room and bathroom was immaculate. Bed was super comfortable. Shades were perfect black out shades.

The room was pretty nice and recently updated. Not sure if it was just that famous New Jersey smell that always lingers or if it was just my room but it kind of smelled a bit like a wet dog. Things were nice and seemed clean otherwise.

New owner who is gradually fixing up the property, so the outside it doesn’t look like much. But The rooms inside are clean, neat, with a really nice shower head and plenty of hot water. The mattress and pillows were perfect. I loved the matching microwave and refrigerator. Nicely decorated.

We had the king bed room. It’s a quite small room, but we were comfortable enough once we moved the bed over a few inches. Room is very clean. Joe was very nice.

Wasn’t very clean in the bathroom. Smelled like old smoke but that wasn’t surprising. Otherwise cozy and sheets etc seemed clean. Did not encounter staff which is fine.

This is one of the coziest places I’ve ever stayed in. Very comfortable bed. I slept great. Can’t put my finger on why, but this place has a great vibe. It is on a major road so there is road noise, but that didn’t bother me. Not much traffic overnight.

Check in was no contact. The room was clean and smart looking. Unable to watch any television due to no internet connection so no Roku and no one to check with on-site. Also no hand soap. It would help to provide at least two shower gels and hygiene items. Nice updates.

So… we drove up to the address and honestly, if cars weren’t parked outside we would think this place was closed down! Opened our door (which was easily opened with a code to get the key) and SURPRISE!!! A totally renovated boutique type room! Tiny.. but had a king bed, a HUGE tv (which we didn’t even use because we were so exhausted from our previous week of travel) a small dresser, 3 comfy chairs, a desk, a small alcove with a larger brand new refrigerator, microwave and small storage cab. Bath was tiny, with no place to hang towels, and the mirror was for giants (I couldn’t even see in it on my top toes - but I’m only 4’11) but renovated and nice. Plenty of light, except hard to close curtains at night. We had to scoot bed over a tad to close them. Also, no coffee maker, but cups. So you could hear water in microwave if you wanted. Just two doors down is a bagel/breakfast place that has coffee and they were pretty busy when we left at 8 am… so pretty good I’m guessing. Motel in a busy Highway, but was quiet enough at night to sleep (we always use a sound machine). We had neighbors because heard them going into room, but either they were super quiet or the soundproofing is pretty good! Overall, it was great for a one night stop over and price was amazing! We had some WIFI issues starting out but communication was great and problem resolved quickly!

The room was small but perfectly adequate with a very cool retro refrigerator.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior - it’s really adorable inside, beds and pillows are so comfy! I don’t want to get up. TV is huge. The check in was so easy and contactless. The staff was very communicative and helpful. It was a perfect stay en route to our final destination.

Extremely convenient and comfortable positioning with great staff

Very unassuming spot right off a main road but once you enter the room you are taken aback by how cute and cozy it is! Staff was helpful via message when we had an issue with the AC (which was definitely our tech novice, not the actual unit). Nice option if you need a quick overnight in the area.

I was looking for value in planning a trip to the Walpack Inn and doing a hike to Buttermilk Falls - and I sure found it at this roadside motel in Branchville! Joseph was super friendly in checking us over the telephone and then in person. All in, a great find!

We stayed overnight for a concert/festival that was going on at the Sussex Fair Grounds. First of all let me just tell you how sweet & patient Marina was while processing my information via text, it has ben awhile since we could get away. Do not judge a book by it's cover...the outside is nothing fancy, but well kept. Entering our room, I immediately thought cozy, comfy, & quaint...& very, very clean. It was like our own little resort. Very nicely decorated, down to the tile in the shower, definitely had a woman's touch. Towels color coordinated with the room, not those stiff bleached white towels you find in other hotels. The bed was comfortable, a/c was perfect, large screen TV, nice to find a decent size fridge in the room & a small but efficient retro microwave. This place is a hidden gem. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. I thank you again for your hospitality and patience...we had a lovely time.

The place was closed with a closed light lit and a no vacancy light lit. The door to office was locked. Had to find another hotel to stay at

Stayed for 4 nights during the German Christmas Market show. Not much to look at from the outside but Very nice and clean rooms. Small but perfect for one or two people. The manager was easy to get in touch with if I needed anything and very accommodating. Only critique - it could use a small coffee maker. Will stay again

The motel was easy to book, but I found it to be strange with the whole contactless check in. And when we arrived to the property, it kind of looked abandoned and not kept up. BUT when we entered the code that Joseph had given us and we got in the room, it was so nice! We got the room with the king bed, and the place was clean enough!! We were very pleased with our stay! The contactless check in was easy and convenient, and I was only hesitant because I had never experienced that before! We would definitely stay there again! And Joseph was so quick with responding to our texts and delivering new towels and stuff! Thank you for the cheap and nice stay! They have a medium size fridge/freezer, and a POWERFUL microwave! Tables, chairs and cozy blankets! The bed was comfortable! But there was no coffee machine! And there was a coffee place across the street with breakfast and lunch foods! And a Mexican restaurant next door, and a park a couple miles down the road! We found the location perfect for where we were going and what we were doing!

Cute room and comfortable bed. Hostess is friendly & promptly responds to requests. Rooms are small, but clean and well kept. Bathroom is very small. As you'd expect at this affordable rate, it's basic, no frills. The rooms have a refrigerator with microwave on top, but no coffee maker and no continental breakfast. I would stay here again.

Sehr saubere Zimmer die mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet sind . Gefehlt hat uns nur eine Kaffeemaschine oder ein Wasserkocher für den Frühstückskaffee. Die Korrespondenz um den Code für unsere Zimmer zu erhalten war etwas holprig, aber letztendlich haben wir für beide Zimmer den Code per SMS erhalten.

This hotel had a very quaint and charming room. Don't let the looks of the outside office scare you off. It's not used. Contactless checkin. Our room was very cute. There aren't much by way of amenities but a wonderful place to stay and had a full size refrigerator. Close to Fireside Bagels which were wonderful.
