Big Disappointment: This trip was for my birthday. I have been wanting to visit Valle for years. Bruma was in my top 3 hotels. The property itself is beautiful and huge. The room description provided on Expedia was not the room I got. It said 700 sq ft room, this was a much smaller room. Basically a bed and a bathroom, so maybe 200 sq ft. Not sure if this is Expedia's error or the hotels. Book directly with the hotel so there is no confusion. Other cons, no tv and shower hot water was spotty. No lock on the bedroom door inside. We were in the room and a maid walked in after the room had been cleaned around 5ish. Not sure for what. Also please note there are hotels within a hotel here and the Bruma Casa 8 is separate. If you do not book those rooms specifically you do not get the resort access, like to the pool, gym or bike use. Ive never heard of such a thing. Only certain rooms get resort access. We asked to use the pool and were denied. I would have even paid for day use. It was a Thursday how busy could the pool have been with only 8 casas? Staff was hit and miss. If you could find someone to help they were sometimes helpful. Given the hotel options in Valle, I would def choose different next time.

Very nice property, room was hot and hard to sleep, was disappointed that use of the gym would be an extra $60, We generally like our food a little salty but both restaurants were so overly salty that we couldn’t eat some of it.

We had to most incredible stay at Bruma for 4 nights in early December. We were upgraded to the wonderful King Suite with a private hot tub, which was gorgeous. The property is dog friendly, and our pup loved running free around the vineyard. We had the tennis + padel courts all to ourselves, and the attached game room / gym was really an awesome daytime hangout spot when we weren't at the pool. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the dinner at Fauna was so good on our first night we decided to eat there again on our last night. If you're thinking about coming to the Valle, stay at Bruma. Its just the best.

El hotel excelente , todo nos gustó muchisismo , atención del personal. Diego el gerente de ayb todo el tiempo atento a nosotros, nos apoyó mucho con el transporte ya que dentro del hotel no tienen un transporte interno para huéspedes lo cual DEBERÍAN TENER siendo un hotel tan prestigioso, pero Diego nos salvó y Luis el que cuidaba los huertos nos apoyó con llevándonos a los alrededores del hotel. IMPORTANTE LOS QUE VAYAN RENTEN AUTO. Sin vehículo no puedes hacer nada :(

Overall we had a great time, but it didn’t start off well. As a couple reviewers noted, we weren’t aware that there are three hotels on this property and, of course, we booked the one that doesn’t have a pool (Atico). I think this information needs to be more explicit on Expedia's site (and on the hotel's website as well) and/or in the booking because we were very disappointed when we discovered our error. Thankfully, we talked with the staff and they were kind enough to hook us up with daily access to one of the pools for a nominal fee. Problem solved. We had to drive to it every day because it’s a sprawling property, but it was easy. Plus the pool is worth it; It’s small but refreshing and in the middle of a beautiful vineyard, flanked by a massive oak tree. The friendly staff supplied us with all the wine we wanted. It was never crowded - one day we had the pool completely to ourselves. The only other negative was: lots of stairs. Our room was on the second floor and even the bed in the room was in a loft. We brought our two dachshunds, so we were carrying dogs up and down stairs a lot. I actually appreciated the exercise, but be prepared for stairs - there were no ground floor rooms or elevators at Atico. Overall, it’s a lovely property, the staff is super friendly, the restaurants on site are really good (Fauna definitely deserves their “Best Restaurant Mexico 2023” award from 50 Best), and their Ocho wine label puts out some delicious wines. The property is excellent in the middle of the desert. It’s beautiful. The only thing that I noticed is that it lack of proper signals that can guide you around the property. In regards of the property, Restaurant, you just can say it’s wonderful with one of the best cuisines I ever taste in Mexico. Fauna Restaurant is a very interesting concept of service due to the fact that they see you in long tables so you can mingle and talk to some other people that are not properly in your group. It’s very interesting. I like it now in regards of the winery, it was a pleasant wine tasting. I got two bottles, one red, one rosé of their wine. I have to admit that at the beginning it was a little rocky because I didn’t receive the welcome that I expected but the next day Ruth one of the managers of the place applied my VIP status and took me to a wonderful place that is called Casa eight there I enjoy the place we had breakfast next day prepared by the service people of the house and really enjoyed the stay For sure, we are planning to return in the near future and now knowing the place better take advantage of fall what it offers Again, Ruth was crucial in the better understanding of all what happened in my stay

The weather was too hot. The air conditioning was not working. The people who worked at the resort were not very helpful and didn’t really know what was going on. We were dear in the headlights at that point. There are very little amenities, including wall, plugs, and lighting. The bathroom ended up flooding because the shower was positioned wrong. The bedding was not comfortable. The chair wasn’t comfortable the set up away from the hotel room downstairs was on fire. I was completely misleading misguided I was overcharged and non-refunded at the same time I left a day early. I was only staying for two nights. I left a day early And didn’t even care to press for a refund. As long as I got out of there I got so dehydrated and so sick. It was basically a heat stroke. It went on all the way until it got dark and then at that point, I was still trying to hydrate and keep water down without throwing up. There is no transportation to and from the restaurant around the property is very hard to get a car down to go pretty much anywhere communication with the front desk was horrible. I feel hustled and robbed there is so much false advertising here. It’s unbelievable.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are nice, and there’s a lot to do on the property. The downsides were the noise level at night (our rooms were right above a bar and we could hear shouting every night), and the EV chargers at Fauna were in disrepair and not functional.

El lugar, la habitación, comida, vinicola, espacio. Impecable e increible, una gran experiencia. Sin embargo el personal del hotel estaba desaparecido. No había personal de check inn. Sin embargo, un gran reconocimiento a la señora guardia de seguridad que nos explicó todo muy amablemente, aunque no era su labor, fue quien dio una cara amable y cercana, nos saludaba todos los días con una sonrisa y cercanía.

We asked to use the pool and were denied. I would have even paid for day use. It was a Thursday how busy could the pool have been with only 8 casas? Staff was hit and miss. If you could find someone to help they were sometimes helpful. Given the hotel options in Valle, I would def choose different next time.

The hotel was beautiful, service was great. It took us about an hour to check in due to a big party that arrived before us and we totally understand that. The rules were OK. We had a nice balcony. The downside is that those rooms are super noisy. You can hear everything from next-door very uncomfortable specially with the price they’re paying for the room. People were walking in the hallways, and I was able to hear it in my room in the morning. There were sweeping the floors and I was able to hear that from the room.. Overall, the staff is great. The rooms are good. I will definitely come back to try other rooms but they need to work on soundproofing the hotel so we can have a good experience..

Overall we had a great time, but it didn’t start off well. As a couple reviewers noted, we weren’t aware that there are three hotels on this property and, of course, we booked the one that doesn’t have a pool (Atico). I think this information needs to be more explicit on Expedia's site (and on the hotel's website as well) and/or in the booking because we were very disappointed when we discovered our error. Thankfully, we talked with the staff and they were kind enough to hook us up with daily access to one of the pools for a nominal fee. Problem solved. We had to drive to it every day because it’s a sprawling property, but it was easy. Plus the pool is worth it; It’s small but refreshing and in the middle of a beautiful vineyard, flanked by a massive oak tree. The friendly staff supplied us with all the wine we wanted. It was never crowded - one day we had the pool completely to ourselves. The only other negative was: lots of stairs. Our room was on the second floor and even the bed in the room was in a loft. We brought our two dachshunds, so we were carrying dogs up and down stairs a lot. I actually appreciated the exercise, but be prepared for stairs - there were no ground floor rooms or elevators at Atico. Overall, it’s a lovely property, the staff is super friendly, the restaurants on site are really good (Fauna definitely deserves their “Best Restaurant Mexico 2023” award from 50 Best), and their Ocho wine label puts out some delicious wines. Big Disappointment: This trip was for my birthday. I have been wanting to visit Valle for years. Bruma was in my top 3 hotels. The property itself is beautiful and huge. The room description provided on Expedia was not the room I got. It said 700 sq ft room, this was a much smaller room. Basically a bed and a bathroom, so maybe 200 sq ft. El hotel excelente , todo nos gustó muchisismo , atención del personal. Diego el gerente de ayb todo el tiempo atento a nosotros, nos apoyó mucho con el transporte ya que dentro del hotel no tienen un transporte interno para huéspedes lo cual DEBERÍAN TENER siendo un hotel tan prestigioso, pero Diego nos salvó y Luis el que cuidaba los huertos nos apoyó con llevándonos a los alrededores del hotel. IMPORTANTE LOS QUE VAYAN RENTEN AUTO. Sin vehículo no puedes hacer nada :(

The weather was too hot. The air conditioning was not working. The people who worked at the resort were not very helpful and didn’t really know what was going on. We were dear in the headlights at that point. There are very little amenities, including wall, plugs, and lighting. The bathroom ended up flooding because the shower was positioned wrong. The bedding was not comfortable. The chair wasn’t comfortable the set up away from the hotel room downstairs was on fire. I was completely misleading misguided I was overcharged and non-refunded at the same time I left a day early. I was only staying for two nights. I left a day early And didn’t even care to press for a refund. As long as I got out of there I got so dehydrated and so sick. It was basically a heat stroke. It went on all the way until it got dark and then at that point, I was still trying to hydrate and keep water down without throwing up. There is no transportation to and from the restaurant around the property is very hard to get a car down to go pretty much anywhere communication with the front desk was horrible. I feel hustled and robbed there is so much false advertising here. It’s unbelievable.

El lugar, la habitación, comida, vinicola, espacio. Impecable e increible, una gran experiencia. Sin embargo el personal del hotel estaba desaparecido. No había personal de check inn. Sin embargo, un gran reconocimiento a la señora guardia de seguridad que nos explicó todo muy amablemente, aunque no era su labor, fue quien dio una cara amable y cercana, nos saludaba todos los días con una sonrisa y cercanía.

The property is excellent in the middle of the desert. It’s beautiful. The only thing that I noticed is that it lack of proper signals that can guide you around the property. In regards of the property, Restaurant, you just can say it’s wonderful with one of the best cuisines I ever taste in Mexico. Fauna Restaurant is a very interesting concept of service due to the fact that they see you in long tables so you can mingle and talk to some other people that are not properly in your group. It’s very interesting. I like it now in regards of the winery, it was a pleasant wine tasting. I got two bottles, one red, one rosé of their wine. I have to admit that at the beginning it was a little rocky because I didn’t receive the welcome that I expected but the next day Ruth one of the managers of the place applied my VIP status and took me to a wonderful place that is called Casa eight there I enjoy the place we had breakfast next day prepared by the service people of the house and really enjoyed the stay For sure, we are planning to return in the near future and now knowing the place better take advantage of fall what it offers Again, Ruth was crucial in the better understanding of all what happened in my stay

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are nice, and there’s a lot to do on the property. The downsides were the noise level at night (our rooms were right above a bar and we could hear shouting every night), and the EV chargers at Fauna were in disrepair and not functional.

We had to most incredible stay at Bruma for 4 nights in early December. We were upgraded to the wonderful King Suite with a private hot tub, which was gorgeous. The property is dog friendly, and our pup loved running free around the vineyard. We had the tennis + padel courts all to ourselves, and the attached game room / gym was really an awesome daytime hangout spot when we weren't at the pool. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the dinner at Fauna was so good on our first night we decided to eat there again on our last night. If you're thinking about coming to the Valle, stay at Bruma. Its just the best.
