Letoh Letoh Bilbao

This hotel is located in the Casco Viejo, a vibrant and fun part of the city. Our room was very nice with a modern, hip vibe. I enjoyed it more than my husband as he thought it was too dark and the bathroom too small. Even though our room faced a busy walkway, the room was quiet and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed the location and meandered through the historical area visiting many pintxo tabernas and shops that were amazing. We stayed 2 nights after we departed from our cruise and were very happily surprised by Bilbao, the Guggenheim and our stay at Letoh Letoh.

Great hotel. Difficult to find as in a side street, but great for accessing surrounding bars/cafe/shopping. Great staff, very helpful. Small room but very clean.

Ok - so the location is the only thing going for this hotel. Other than that - nothing. It’s pretty rundown, halls smell, hair in the corners of the room, bed is so small, pillows aren’t comfortable & flat but the AC is great! There’s no mini-fridge, no snacks, no microwave, no washcloths, no washcloths. There are NO amenities. I had arranged beforehand for extra pillows for my brother because of a cancer/surgery issue & he can’t lay down flat or could suffocate… the young girl at the desk said “No. Maybe tomorrow.” Seriously? That’s not ok and they were leaving the next day. I asked them to put my meds in the fridge and my meds carrier in the freezer, when I asked for them they gave me luke warm meds and said they didn’t have my frozen travel case, not ok, it takes 22 hours for me to get home and hundreds of dollars in meds are trashed now. I asked for help with a reservation, she said she couldn’t reach them & just show up. Again, not ok, same young girl, we were turned away from many places for “no reservations.” Then we asked for a taxi early AM, same helpless girl, said none were available because of a “festival,” so I asked for a private driver - again no - and told me to try Uber, seriously. But when we left in the morning the taxis were out front so she just didn’t try to set it up I guess. Stay at TAYKO BILBOA instead, it was flawless our first 2 days, exceptional hospitality. And definitely ask for earplugs, it’s a noisy corner in the heart of the party!
