Very nice staff and they organized a fun Dragshow in the evening. Close to old town with all the good restaurants. One minus is the bathroom, which dosent give much privacy due to the glass door (frosted) so the sounds are heard by everyone in the room.

One front of house staff was rude and lied about the spa being closed when it was not—not sure if it was because I’m a woman or because I brought my service dog. Either way he obviously did not want me to use it. We actually had booked the hotel specifically for the spa and were hoping to use other Axel Hotels in the future. Never again will we stay at an Axel Hotel. WORST SERVICE EVER!

The hotel is nice, welcoming, and clean. The air conditioning worked great and was a good respite from the heat. Breakfast was good but picked over if you weren’t there early. The sun deck is small but nice. Our only complaint was that the pool is in need of an overhaul. There were a lot of missing tiles and the stairs were unsafe. But, overall, it was a nice location.

Great location, and the room was a good size. The rooftop pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day, but it’s quite shallow, so don’t expect to swim laps. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights back in November 2025 and had a very pleasant experience. My room was on the 1st floor, and I didn't face any issues with noise, bad odors, or anything similar. Based on my satisfaction from that stay, I decided to book this hotel again. However, this time—perhaps because I stayed on the top floor—it was a disappointing experience. There was noise, an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and a buzzing/humming sound from the electrical panel. I informed the reception about these issues, but they simply mentioned it was a known situation and said they would try to help. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my stay this time.
