Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was a big disappointment. We planned to stay there for 3 nights, but left after the first. When checking in, we received a completely different room than the one in the photo when we did booking, the hotel was booked a month before arrival. We received a room that is designed for people with disabilities. The walls in the room were dirty, the curtain on the window was torn, there was no view from the window. They did not change our room right away, they said that the hotel was full, the next day we were offered a room that we had to wait for and the room was somewhere near the hotel on the first floor, we were not shown what it would be and we decided to leave because our plans had already been disrupted due to the irresponsibility of the hotel. Terrible experience. The breakfast 3 points from 5. The terrace was fully closed but no information about it when you do booking. Never again!

The hotel information listed the “Terraza” as open at night, so we could enjoy the bar and the view and have a good time every night and we found that it was closed, and no refund was issued because of that… Very disappointed…

Fantastic location in the centre of the city just a short walk from the main food and drink square and close to the market. Compact rooms very clean and modern. Excellent staff. But no car park so need to use one of the ones nearby.

Très bien situé dans la vieille ville pour tout visiter, l'accueil très agréable des employés et tout du long du séjour. Mais très bruyant, les suites étant côté route et devant un carrefour. Il n'y a pas de piscine dans cet hôtel et le rooftop était fermé malgré le beau temps et les 20 degrés, dommage vu la catégorie et le prix. Petit déjeuner avec du choix, fruits coupés excellents mais une qualité moyenne des pains. Parking à 20 euros en plus par jour à 2 min a pied.

The hotel is quirky and in a perfect spot for everything. However should not be classified as a 4 star hotel. The rooms are decent but so many flaws that simple things could fix. Walls had numerous marks and smudges, chipped paint and holes. The floors creaked and the floor boards were worn and peeling. Bathroom was ok but hair left behind and the doo is far too heavy.

Esta es la segunda vez que me alojo en este hotel. La primera vez fue en verano del 22 concretamente en julio, y aunque el hotel todavía estaba terminando su reforma mostraba limpieza y pulcritud. En esta última estancia el hotel sigue manteniendo su espíritu, pero la limpieza podría mejorar ligeramente. Tal como el baño, en el plato de ducha te encuentras algo de moho en las juntas. Todo esto solucionadle con algo de lejía rociada directamente sobre las juntas y se resuelve en 2 min. La calidad de wifi podría mejorarse y que no fuera necesario cada dos por tres ticar y aceptar condiciones. Por lo demás un lugar muy bien situado con un personal muy amable.

Had a great few days in this hotel which is ideally situated in Bilbao to explore old and new town.The room was spotlessly clean and had great views of the river.Breakfast was adequate for our needs but could be improved a little.Would definitely recommend this hotel for a clean comfortable stay in Bilbao.

The hotel is in an excellent location - on the edge of old town, while still having access to car/taxi service right outside the door. The hotel lobby and room are decorated nicely with a modern, cool aesthetic. Unfortunately, the lower section of the shower needs better maintenance as the grout and caulking were moldy and the shower floor had a dingy appearance, such that I wore sandals to shower. But this was in stark contrast to the rest of the hotel which was very nice and well maintained.

Great location. Was not a city view room only a side street which was very noisy. Rooms quite small but clean and maids changed towels etc everyday. Definitely not sound proof tho as could hear everything from adjoining rooms

The room was clean and the bed was OK, but the living space was tiny. The room probably has the 18 sq.m. they claim, but they carved needlessly large bathroom out of those 18, and the walk past the bathroom can not be considered living space either. That leaves us with about 12 and you do not even have enough space to lay out your luggage

I love the location of this hotel, the hotel was fine, breakfast is okay, something I totally hate is the bathroom, zero privacy! all glass, including shower and toilet area! and the door is just a glass door. The room for 4 people was minuscule and we did not even had room for our luggages since the sofa bed was open for my 2 kids. Except for the space and the awful bathroom everything else was fine. BUT the location is unbeatable!

Great stay as always, fantastic location. Only negatives are the wifi can be intermittent in room and it would be nice to have an english channel or two. I appreciate you dont go away to watch tv but sometimes as the weather quite wet in Bilbao it would be a nice option

This is an ideally located hotel on the edge of the old town. Lovely breakfast, clean comfy rooms (although an odd frosted glass bathroom/toilet/shower!). We stayed Saturday to Tuesday and it was very noisy Saturday night. With street cleaners, restaurants and bars emptying bottle bins each morning, it was still fairly noisy in the mornings. But if you don’t sleep in late, that’s no problem. And if you are the ones partying late at night in the great bars, then the noise isn’t a problem. But if you want a peaceful night’s rest, this is probably not the hotel for you. That is the only negative for a really good hotel.

Location of hotel is excellent for all parts of town. Staff pleasent and friendly with comfortable bed. However - room I booked was a 'city view' room and this is not what you get. We got a room that looking into a narrow street and not a view of the city - this also prevented any natural light from coming into the room. Extremely disappointing and not as advertised and room booked. Raised with hotel and response was not good. Was told city view is only a request that is made and given on availability. Breakfast is pretty average and there are not enough tables for all the guests - there where mornings when we where having breakfast on low tables that are not really suitable for eating breakfast (other than a coffee and a pastry). Overall - location is fantastic and the rooms are pleasent with comfortable bed - but due to the experience of the 'city view' room and lack of comfortable space in the hotel (the roof top bar was closed for our stay due to work being done and only advertised as open after 1700) - i would look to stay elsewhere in the city if i was to return.

We were welcomed by Aldara and a trainee Asier who was very professional, pleasant and patient when we checked in with our group. He was able to give us 2 out of our 4 rooms early which we greatly appreciated. Rooms are clean, decent sized with sound proofed windows, coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of water. Air conditioner worked well. Location is great. Walking distance to many, shops and restaurants. My brother enjoyed the arcade game machine in the lobby. Traveled with my father who uses a wheelchair and the adapted room is a wet room so water gets everywhere in the bathroom, otherwise our stay was great

Great location - the ONLY positive thing about the property. Staff not interested in customer service. Hotel website did not inform us the Rooftop terrace would be closed during our visit, we would have booked elsewhere if we had had prior knowledge of this critical fact.

Very good hotel in the middle of old town Bilbao. Perfect place to explore Bilbao. We were there during Semana Grande, a big 9 day festival which also continued during night. The hotel was in the middle of this. Very nice but unfortunafely also very loud during the night. But in the end a unique experience.

This is an excellent hotel for so many things. It is in the old part of the city which is lovely and you can drive to it and park nearby without having to enter the Low Emission Zone of Bilbao. But at the same time it\'s right across the bridge from the "new" city, and a 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim and 30 minute walk to the ITSA Maritime Museum.

Excellent location for both old and new town. Tram and metro stations close by. Really helpful staff gave us a brilliant tip where to spend a few hours out of the city on our last day which was lovely. Spoke most days to reception staff and nothing too much trouble. Would strongly recommend staying here.

The hotel is in great location just in front of the old town. Room was clean and very spacious for small family. All the places of interest are in walking distance and the staffs are very helpful. They accommodated all the request I had asked for so thank you very much to the staffs. There are many locals shops and good restaurants close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting to Bilbao.

Good location, nice decor in the hotel and room a very comfortable although a bit small for a luxury hotel. Breakfast was poor so I would not select this option again. Staff we generally friendly and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again but I would not take breakfast.

Very nice, modern hotel which fits well with Bilbao’s arty vibe. The room was clean and the location in the Casco Viejo is excellent - most things are walkable and for those that aren’t, the metro station is less than a minute’s walk away. The only slight negative is that the breakfast option is very expensive - Bilbao has many excellent and cheap options for food within a short walk so I would recommend that it’s not worth it.
