This hotel on the surface looks good, parking is convenient but only if you get there early enough because there certainly aren't enough spaces for everyone and it's dear compared to everywhere else across spain we have stayed. Maintenance definitely needs to be stepped up, our shower leaked from the tap area and the rain head shower bit dripped cold water while using the other shower head. The plug in the sink didn't work. The lifts are a joke, so small and only one goes to the car park. Definitely not staying at a barcelo again

Good Hotel in great location close to city center. Very close to Shopping area with a great selection of places to eat. We pay for breakfast and they had a good selection of things to eat. Would I stay again, Yes!! Parking was expensive priced at 27 euro per day...

They were right on the river there was everything with in 10 min walk including the Guggenheim . They had a small under ground parking lot . Worked well spaces were tight no big cars lol. It was late at night and hard to see where the hotel was it was written on wall and the turn in for garage was right there so you need to be prepared and follow GPS if you don’t know the area and just turn in . Once you’re there push the call button and tell them you’re checking in . They will open the garage for you .

Hotel grande, com apenas dois elevadores que estavam funcionando e pequenos, demora para acessar os quartos e a recpeção e vice versa, WI-FI péssimo, deixando de usar por um minuto já temos que fazer novo acesso, não é o padrão da rede Barceló e deveria ser revisto. Café da manhã bom, bem sortido, quarto bem cuidado e cama confortável.

Everything is good about this hotel except for 2 things: most important is that the rooms have paper thin walls so you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Hopefully they are quiet while you try to sleep! Second, you better have a small car if you want to park in the garage as maneuvering and spaces are very tight. I will not return due to the thin walls unfortunately as everything else was a 4-star experience.

The hotel is excellent with friendly employees. Our room was big and clean. Breakfast was superb. Parking is easy but book early as limited space. Easy walking distance to Tourist points of interest (Old town, Guggenheim and shops).

Sehr zentrales Hotel. Phantastisches Frühstück. Personal überwiegend freundlich. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt. Der ÖPNV in Bilbao ist aber sehr gut ausgebaut. Außerdem kann man überall Fahrräder mieten.

Hotel bien situé , entre la vieille ville et le Gugenheim : 10mn de chaque côté , au bord du Nervion , belle vue sur la ville .Accueil aimable . Das Hotel liegt extrem zentral, Das Frühstück ist exzellent. Mein Zimmer war klein ,sehr ruhig, aber vollkommen Ausreichend für 2 Nächte. Dafür leider kein schöner Ausblick aus dem Fenster. Die moderne Einrichtung hat mir gut gefallen. Im schönen Bad ab es leider sehr wenig Abstellfläche und trotz, dass das Bad relativ neu aussieht, war bereits leichte Schimmelbildung in den Fugen der Dusche zu sehen.

Our room had an issue with the shower temperatures where the water would go to extremes of burning hot to really cold. Made it impossible to take a shower. Apparently it’s been going on for some time and they haven’t fixed it. They never gave us a heads up for this issue.

Very modern design and the lobby area is lovely. Unfortunately the rooms have been designed with that ridiculous blend of bathroom into the bedroom - e.g. there is no wall or door between the shower and bedroom area. This ridiculous trend started about 10 years ago and I’ve seen it across the world - thankfully I was alone in my room but don’t book here unless you want to shower and change in front of your room mate! Door to room is made of paper as you can hear EVERYTHING in the corridor.

One of the BEST quality and variety (included) breakfast buffets we've experienced. One of the few places in (all of Europe) that the (hotel) restaurant includes 'complimentary' still and or bubbly water with your meal. Room, hotel and elevators very clean. Hotel is upscale and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Location was good for us, everything we wanted to see / visit was walkable, or public transit close enough nearby. shortcomings: In room refrigerator does NOT get cold. we mentioned it to the front desk.. the implied this was normal. Shower, the temperature varied widely w/o an adjustment. I-net, provided free. in the lobby it works great signal is strong, (in our room) on the 6th floor strength varied and I lost connection periodically

A very nice hotel, centrally located. Easy friendly check-in. We did early check-in at 9 am, for an extra charge of 30 Euro. Good in-room coffee service. Hot water. Room safe. We did have some trouble figuring out the A/C; during all my calls about getting it to work, they said the window needed to be closed. As far as I could tell it WAS closed, but when they FINALLY sent someone to help us, it turned out it was not 100% closed. After that the A/C worked, but it had a hard time keeping up with the outside temps reaching 98 F degrees. Thus, the room was still a bit too warm and humid.

Extremely rude front staff. The hotel did not inform us that we could not access the hotel by car between 10-11:30 pm due to several street closures for festivities despite calling them with questions about parking just 30 minutes prior to that time period. As a result we could not access the hotel until close to midnight. The staff then stopped in the middle of our check-in when a group of 7-8 flight attendants came in without an explanation and when I inquired why they had been so rude they just said it was hotel policy! In the middle of checking us in? Really?

Good buffet breakfast, comfy bed, air conditioning ok fridge in room. Staff reasonably helpful eg waking cal, providing ironing board. Run down area around hotel. For veggies food we had to go into city centre - Camellia vegan restaurant. Street up the side of town hall has shops including bakery and greengrocer. Can walk along river to Old Town -carrefour supermarket on corner.

Perfect location on the river between the old and new town. Hotel felt very new. Clean and comfortable. Fridge in the room which is a bonus. Would happily stay here again as a first choice when in the city next

Wish it had better area for smokers. Not convenient to be standing in front of hotel while smoking. Not pleasant. A smoking area would have been nice with some benches or something. Bar food needs work. More options for bar snacks. Same every day. Staff was great!!!
