Laid out nicely so we could park in front of our rooms and not have to carry our pets far. Had a very nice looking little pool area but it wasn’t swimming weather. No cream for the coffee.

It was very close to the University of Arizona. The room was very clean and no issues. Felt safe and parking was not an issue. The only issue was that the pool was very cloudy and that discouraged us from using it because we were unsure how often it was cleaned and maintained. It Would have been nice to use the pool the weather was 98 degrees. Other than that it was a nice stay. Convenient for us.

This was exactly what I needed. It was a $60 a night room, and I got exactly what I needed. Clean, friendly, comfy bed, TV, pool that’s open late, everything I wanted for a late night quick overnight stop in Tucson. To the people who leave negative reviews because it’s old and not fancy, you want the Marriott. That’s not $60 a night. This was perfect.

Rooms are spacious and clean. My bathroom drain was a bit slow and the shower curtain rod was loose. Parking spaces are tight and a difficult to squeeze into. Surrounding neighborhood is sketchy, but the property feels safe. Overall, very comfortable stay.

This place is absolute trash. We found a bunch of hair in the sink and bathtub after checking in. We didn’t look right away and we were in the room 30 minutes or so. I went to get a refund because it was disgusting and they told me it was 41 minutes since I checked in and at 40 minutes you can’t get a refund. They took us to another room and same thing, hair in the floor and in the bathroom. That might be the biggest bunch of crap I’ve ever heard. I told the front desk I was going to write this review to tell everyone to avoid this place and they didn’t care. Unreal. I’ll be calling and emailing their corporate offices as well.

Cockroaches in the room the size of half dollars including smaller ones. I contacted the front desk. She refused to switch my room and said there’s more cockroaches in another room so I switch my room but she would get a dustpan come up to my room and get them out for me. I couldn’t believe this. It was late and I had to work early in the morning, so I proceeded to shake down the bed to make sure there’s nothing in it to find dirty, crusty blankets. I made sure they weren’t just stains. They were crusty and then proceeded to look even deeper into the room, the drawers had marijuana paraphernalia, as well as trash in them. The floors had the past guests, hair, ties, and garbage, which means they weren’t vacuumed I contacted the manager the next day who is even more rude than the receptionist the night before she would not give me her name and became very argumentative and aggressive towards me before she hung up never ever again. Super disgusted and disappointed.

The room was dirty. The comforter looked like someone jumped on the bed black shoe prints as well as rips. Sink was filthy. Toilet had been pooped in and had skid marks all over it. Property is 1 star and that’s being nice. We didn’t stay, because of how gross it was!

Found a dead roach legs up in the bathroom the size of a fist i noticed immediately walking in. Would have complained but didnt want to frighten my 11 year old daughter so picked up with tp and flushed it. Wish i had took a picture might have gotten a comp, but it was already bed tine didnt want to hunt down another hotel

Working AC and good hot water. Bed was comfortable and the rate was fair for the area. However, the floors and sheets were dirty and there was a cigarette mark on the comforter. Lots of people loitering around the building. You can probably find a better alternative, though this was on the cheaper side when I booked.

The hotel is very well located near I-10 and 1 mile from U of A Honors Village. The building seems old and the area is not safe. Although the rooms seem they have been remodeled, the general state of the place is pretty run down and dirty. After arriving to my room and opening the door, I was hit by a very foul smell. I assumed it was because pets are welcome. Then, I noticed a random pair of gloves on the desk nobody cared to pick up. The bathroom door was opened and I walked into the bathroom to realize there was urine in the toilet sitting there for who knows for how long since the smell in the room was so strong. I went back to the front desk to explain the situation and request a change of room. The man who assisted me only worded an annoyed yes but never apologized or offer any further assistance. The new room seem “cleaner” but there was not hand soap in the bathroom, the TV could never connect to the Wi-Fi and the hand towels where nicely folded but never washed (there were dirty hand prints on them). By this point it was too late to find another place so I just stayed and “slept” intermittently due to the uncleanness of the place and the guests on both rooms next to mine yelling during the night and their children running around on the corridor outside my room. I would never stay in this place again. I understand this is a budget hotel but it’s insulting they treat their guests this way.

The Staff was very helpful and friendly, checking in and out. This was an over night stay. The room was for 2 people. Only one chair provided that was in terrible condition. Should be replaced. Beds were not very comfortable. Very noisy all night both from outside and the room above and beside us. Room service was available if you had a phone that could scan a code otherwise not available. Neither of us were able to sleep. I expected better from this brand.

Room was hot because they keep the AC units off. Took us 8 hrs to cool our room to a comfortable temperature. Cleaning service stole our personal rag that we had brought and only gave us one cup to use. Three throw pillows is what you get for your bed which was uncomfortable. Tweekers walking around at night. Room was decent and bed was ok. You get what you pay for! ($65/night)

The tv never worked. I called and for 2 days, and they never showed to fix it. I asked them a couple of times. My door card stopped working everyday. So I had to go back and have it reprogrammed everyday. They never checked my ID to see if I was who i said i am. They just gave me the card with whatever room i said i was in. Mold in the bathrooms. I will never come back.

I booked for three days, but on the evening of the second day the Internet went out. I was absolutely counting on that to coordinate a series of medical procedures and they said it would be fixed by morning. It was not fixed. I got back to my room in late morning after a med visit, still no Internet and so I checked out to look for another hotel. It was after the 1100 checkout time (about 1200) and they wouldn't refund my money. They claimed the Internet was up and running, but it was not. The rooms were clean, but the property (stairwells, parking lot, sidewalks, etc) were filthy with trash, discarded food items and so on. Also, irritating as hell, they have a little coffee bar in the lobby but the lobby is locked up until 0800 or so. If you have business in town, you'd better scout for a Starbucks because the hotel coffee isn't available early enough.

Had the rudest and coldest person check me in. No conversation or talk about the property or my room. The place was dirty. My room smells like smoking and cigarettes! I had homeless pounding on my bathroom window at 3am. Paper thin walls and can hear everything! Holes in my towels

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY AND ASSUME YOU HAVE A ROOM. This property overbooks and all they could offer was a sorry. No call, no email, no text earlier in the day of hey, we don't have a room for you any more. Left scrambling to find another hotel with a kid and within budget. If it's on a busy Saturday night, good luck.

On line photos varied greatly from actual conditions. House cleaning did not come to the room 2 of 4 days. Bathroom shower fitting was apart from the wall, room was dirty, gaps between door frame and door very apparent.

Upon trying to check into Red Roof Inn we were told they would not be able to accommodate us and a room would be saved for us at a Motel 6 near the airport. Arriving at the Motel 6, the front desk staff was very kind, but the room was very unkept, the sheets and towels were dirty with stains, and some of the furniture was missing pieces. It’s clear there was a renovation underway, and the 2 star rating was evident.

Pulled up, could barely get in to the lot and once I did it was sketch central. Harassed twice before I got to the door only find a dude prowling by my car when I got out of the office. No where near as nice as the pictures, but what do you expect for the price. Super unsafe

Had to move the microwave to be able to plug it in, no coffee maker in the room, no breakfast, cleaning person left a dirty rag on the dresser, no do not disturb sign to hang, key cards barely worked, lots of loud guests at 3 am, pool was dirty and much smaller than appeared on the website, dead bugs in the bed

First of all this is a Red Roof Inn not a Biltmore or Four Seasons. It is not in the best neighborhood—homeless people are wandering around, but this property is very well lit. It also has a very competent and helpful night desk clerk. They also provide free, great tasting coffee
