Clean room, room was already cooled down with the AC on when we arrived. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchenette is perfect! It has a full sized refrigerator, and in-freezer ice maker, coffee pot, dishes, pans, silverware, and a dishwasher. They even have salt and pepper packets for you! Bathroom is well appointed with linens, shampoo, conditioner, and extra paper products. The beds are comfy. Some pillows are firm some are soft. They have free washer and dryer available. They also have a self-serve store in the lobby. The pool area has 4 BBQ grills, lawn chairs, a small pool, and a nice indoor lounge with a restroom and a TV. Parking is only $15 a day. Lyft rides are easy to get for going to the parks. It's about $10 each way, with tip. DoorDash delivers right to your hotel room door as does Wal-Mart. I love staying here and will definitely return!

The hotel is close to Disneyland, close enough we could see the fireworks! The staff was user friendly, especially Joey who helped us out! Overall a great hotel, you do pay $15 a day for parking but I felt it was very worth it!

Room and kitchen have the right amount of space. Full fridge in the room makes very convenient. It is walkable to Disney Parks, about 20-25 minute walk. Covered parking, which is convenient and safe. Staff is friendly and eating options are available all around. Only downsize was the pool, which is a bit small and not warm enough for winter.

The front desk crew was friendly and very helpful! The 2 full bed suite with a kitchen was perfect! It was so very convenient to have a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave! Complimentary washers and dryers in the laundry facility was a pleasant surprise! I'll be sure to bring my own detergent next time. Even if you don't bring your own, their shoppette in the lobby is certain to have so much of what you need. The Lyft drivers are very familiar with the location which made it very easy to get rides to and from the parks. The beds were a bit firm, but we still slept well. The rooms were very quiet! We only heard one boisterous child for about 15 minutes during the whole week we were there. The pool is small, but nobody else was using it. There's an excellent lounge next to the pool that has chairs, couches, a TV, AC, and a restroom. There are also 3 BBQ grills. The front desk offers luggage storage for before you check in or when you check out but want to go to the parks before your flight. I really cannot complain about this hotel at all! I will be back!

Close to Disneyland, but still quite a walk. Local bus was convenient. Decent rooms. No breakfast included. Older but kept up. Only one small elevator.. Pool is really only a lap pool and is in direct sun at all times.

Very noisy in my room not sure what was above me, but never stay by the elevator. The elevator wasn’t working no one put a sign up on all floors so let their guests aware . Not happy.

We stayed for 7 nights. Cons:: Very clean, safe, staff was always polite and helpful, parking was decent (paid parking but still spots we only had one night when we parked on the street). Housekeeping made our beds daily and would refill things like dishwasher soap and salt. Laundry is completely free. Kitchen was great if you need to keep cost down by cooking. Not overcrowded, and again- very very clean. Safe neighborhood and area and easy to get to Disney, VIDCON, and etc. General manager is very helpful and responds to questions. CONS: Pool SUCKS. Not the fault of the staff though. It’s clean, just really small and weird. Also no view of any fireworks or anything interesting. This is a family hotel and there are screaming children every morning EARLY- so bring a sound machine. Otherwise we had a great experience and very happy we chose this location!

I don’t think you will find a cleaner hotel than the Candlewood! Every corner of the room and hotel was spotless. The staff at Candlewood is outstanding! They are always quick to greet you and ask if there’s anything they can help with. Anytime I asked for extra towels or kitchen utensils…I got them right away. The dishwasher in our room wasn’t working and when I called to let them know, they sent someone up to look at it right away. They weren’t able to fix it so we just washed our dishes by hand for our stay there…not a big deal. The girl at the front desk sent housekeeping up to collect our dirty dishes the next morning which was very thoughtful of them. The staff did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. The only reason I didn’t give Candlewood 5 stars is because of the pool. It’s very small and is only 3 feet deep. It’s a nice amenity to have for a quick dip to cool down and relax after a long day but my daughter is 10 now and has outgrown the pool. I think after 3 consecutive years of staying at the Candlewood, it’s time to try something new. That being said, I will highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a hotel with a kitchenette.

Decent hotel for the price if you’re on a budget. But it wasn’t really clean. I noticed there was left over food from pizza on the table and dresser and makeup stains were on the mirror and counter in the bathroom. But it wasn’t loud, beds were comfy.

Immediate issues: stained pillowcase, coffee machine in the room didn’t work, tub spout ran while the shower was on. The first two issues were resolved the same day but the shower wasn’t fixed until day 5 of our stay. Otherwise it’s a nice place to stay, it’s within walking distance of the Toy Story parking shuttle which is why we stayed here.

This motel was just okay. Wouldn’t stay here again, though. Cockroach made its way across the wall after I’d tossed some pillows off the bed (I brought my own). Felt like no one had cleaned back behind there in awhile. Totally skeeved me out. It was super loud. The room above us- you could hear every move they made. One of the elevators wasn’t working the entire stay (3 nights/4 days), and the one that was working was very slow. The room was a good size, bathroom was big.

The staff here was absolutely exceptional! I had to do a work event the day of my check out and they accommodated me with a late check out as well as let me leave my luggage there until it was over. They were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and just what I needed for a work trip. It is also walking distance to Disneyland, which was great.

This was our first time staying at this hotel, ill start with the good. First off, having a kitchen in the room is awesome, if youre doing Disney it will save you a ton of money. A full size fridge with an ice maker is a game changer, i wont be able to go back to tiny hotel fridges. The room and the bathroom were very clean, also having soap containers mounted to the wall instead of the tiny bars of soap was really nice. The walk to disneyland isnt bad at all, I think it took about 15 minutes at a brisk pace and plenty of streetlights coming back to the hotel so it didnt seem sketchy coming back at midnight. Now to the bad, the TV is pretty small for a room that size, the elevators are beyond slow, so make sure you give yourself a 10 minute window if you need to go somewhere because you can easily wait that long to get on the elevator. The bed wasnt horrible, but it also wasnt the greatest, It did its job but dont expect to be sleeping on a cloud. Overall its a pretty good hotel, its not the Ritz, but its also miles ahead of msny of the other hotels in the area. For the price and the location its pretty dang hard to beat.

The hotel and customer service was great! Rooms were very clean and kitchenette was well equipped. However the room we got, which was at the end of the hallway, was soooo loud. People kept coming in and out. Our room faced their bbq area and there was a party of some sort and we could hear all the noise. At 3 am we were woken up by loud noises from the entry hallway door and loud voices. Also there was so loud dragging noises coming out of somewhere in the building. At 5am someone was checking out and he had the latch over the frame of his door and he kept coming in and out for the past hour and we could just hear the slams every single time. Afterwords he left, came back and tried to come in to our room. He kept trying to open our door. I called the front desk to notify and was told they would let him know when he went back down. Apparently they knew who he was, but it was scary thinking someone was trying to get in to our room. Nonetheless we had a not so good night at the hotel. Maybe asking to not get a room at end of hallway may be less noisy.

Decent little hotel for the location and price. The only main issue we found is that it's 100% NOT A QUEEN BED! Which truly is misleading. I'm a larger guy 6'6 but skinny 175 and the full sized bed it 6" shorter vs a queen and that REALLY makes a difference. When I asked the front desk if they had any real queen beds they said no the full are our queens. If I would've had my daughter with me 4yr old who normally shares a bed with myself and my wife I would've been very mad having to pay for another hotel last minute. The rooms are nice shower was warm for all of 10 minutes. No spa was kinda lame. The lap pool sized pool wasn't heated above 75 so that may have well been closed for the colder months.

It was mediocre. Very noisy from housekeeping when they were, other people running down the halls and businesses behind the hotel. Housekeeping cleaned our room well and gave us a couple extra towels when we asked. Refrigerator was very noisy, ice cube maker didnt work and the window casing was broken, so it was not efficient to keeps out the exhaust fumes and traffic noise. Front desk staff was very friendly. The bed was clean, decent comfort. Bathroom grout needed cleaning and regrouting. Otherwise it was ok. I don't think I will stay again, needs major remodel. However, if you just want a clean bed and a place to shower ... then it would suit that kind of traveler.

I didn’t like the attitude of the front desk. She was very rude and dismissive about the fact that she wasn’t going to take my card. Nowhere does it say that the hotel doesn’t take certain cards (Venmo, chime, PayPal, cashapp, etc). Which is really inconvenient for people who don’t want a traditional bank card. While we liked the area since it was quiet, we won’t be staying here again.

The guy Tim with hair dreads was rude. He needs to be fired. We asked for service in our room and he was rude said it was our fault we didnt call for service. He wanted to make us go fetch our own towels. We were there 14 says and when he was there at night he was rude.

It was a really great stay. Room was clean and they did a great job of cleaning everyday. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needee to make a good breakfast every morning. It is located across the street from great food options and has the most reasonable parking price around. The walk to the gate for disneyland was 15 minutes or like 7 minutes to a toy story parking bus (which in the morning gets uou through security faster and is free). Overall i would definitely stay here again.
