Overall an ok room and good hotel. I was perhaps unlucky but there was no hot water when I arrived and it wasnt fixed until the following afternoon. Their online presence on booking sites misleads into thinking they have a pool. They do not, they only give you access to the local YMCA, which is closed during the weekend. Despite that, they went ahead and charged a resort fee of about 50 USD per night, without even informing me it was being charged or asking on which card to do so. They had assured me the card asked at check in was only for a deposit. I did get a partial refund and some courtesy credit from Expedia for the trouble, but at this price and star rating, I expected better. They have free bikes for guests to use. I didn't but it was nice to have the option.

Hotel rooms are smaller than they look in the advertisement. Very clean and staff are helpful. Use of the gym is next door but it’s well equipped. Use of bikes is free. Breakfast is fruit and pastries and fresh every day. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a part of the old historic YMCA right on the Embarcadero. Lots of unique architecture. Easy walking distance from BART and the Market Street/California cable car line. I walked to Oracle Park and Fisherman’s Wharf as well as to the Alcatraz pier. For the less adventurous, buses are easily assessable. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast -/ limited but baked goods are of much higher quality. They have an evening happy hour featuring a selection of wines. Heck, the hotel even has bicycles for those who want to pedal down the waterfront. Rooms are a bit small, but nicely appointed. I highly recommend and most choose this as my “go to” SF hotel. Old school charm coupled with a great location AND very helpful and friendly staff!

Pretty solid for its price. Only complaints were the shower took a while to get warm in the morning and parking was expensive at $70, but not unexpected for SF. Overall hard to beat given it is in a safer/cleaner part of the city.

Outstanding stay. Lovely breakfast with coffee and pastries, juices, fruit, and yogurt. Bike and helmet loan made my trip! Embarcadero is central and buzzing with great restaurants and spectacular views of the Bay Bridge.

The staff was incredibly friendly. They were quick to talk, to help guests, and I greatly appreciated their patience in getting my pass for the gym. It's a great hotel for a long weekend with an amazing partnership with the YMCA next door. You can check out bikes if that's your thing (we did), enjoy the wine happy hour, and are a short trip to BART/MUNI/ Busses for easy access to the whole city. The room was comfortable even if our particular room didn't have a view. However, we weren't there for the hotel, just a place to stay. Everything else was a pleasant surprise. The only minor gripe was the coffee in the morning was burned but that's a trifle. And besides, there are so many coffee places in the area to try.

Went to SF for Giants game and the hotel is walking distance to the park. The room was clean, quiet and bed was comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good and they had a wine hour every afternoon.

The stay was great. I was celebrating my birthday and the staff especially Danielle at the front desk was kind to me. Offered me upgrade and bottle of bubbly. Room was fanstatic over looking the SF Bay. Room was clean and comfortable and the water was hot. Very quiet and although right on a busy street the double pain windows kept noise out which was good. Only 2 things about the room that I did not like. Windows looked like they should open but I was unable to do that. The shower door would not stay closed when in the shower water on the floor outside the shower stall i had to wipe it up. Minor issues that should be easy to fix. This is the second year i have stayed for my birthday and im glad i came back Thankyou

The hotel is a good, moderately priced choice in a great area of SF along the Embarcadero. BUT we were in a "City View King," and the "City View" is of the interior light well in the middle of the building. Also, the lighting in the room is very dim - two bedside table lamps and one uplamp in the corner, but o general lighting or ceiling light. Otherwise all good - well appointed rooms, quiet, nice decor.

The Harbor Court Hotel has been my go-to spot in San Francisco for the past 10 years—and for good reason. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right on the waterfront and within walking distance to so much of what makes the city special. The recent renovations are a big plus—everything feels fresh and thoughtfully updated. I especially love the complimentary wine tastings and continental breakfast, which add a really nice touch to the overall experience. The bathroom spa products are another highlight—Malin + Goetz is such a quality brand and really elevates the stay. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They’ve always been so kind and genuinely attentive. You can tell they care about your comfort from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco. Harbor Court continues to be a place I look forward to returning to again!

For a boutique hotel one would expect excellent customer service. Unfortunately the front office was not very friendly and the back office charged us more than they should have. Rooms are small and hotel is just ok. If they want to charge the rates they do they need to be nicer. Value just isn't here.

Staff was amazing. Always smiling and helpful. The continental breakfast with pastries and muffins was tasty! Very cool relaxing lobby to sit and talk with friends. Easily walkable to many areas. No need for a rental car with public transportation close by as well.

This was my 3rd stay at this hotel. Usually they give me a bay view but this time, I got the city view. I was offered to upgrade for $70. Valet was already $70 so I passed on the upgrade. I still like the hotel, but service was underwhelming.

Location is awesome! Right across the Ferry Building. They have bikes that you can borrow and Pier 39 is just a short bike ride away. The staff here has always been exceptional… especially Javier!

I book for one day but the charge was deducted twice and I raise the compliment for refund but the service was too delayed and lately responded. I feel insecure to share my card details further & it’s unfortunate happened this way where a customer feels insecure.My money is still on hold for no reason and the problem yet to be resolved.

Amazing. Easy walk from the BART and MUNI (embarcadero) even with heavy luggage. Lovely staff. Great room, spotlessly clean and bed SO comfortable. No noise, good air con. Light breakfast in the mornings which was more than adequate. Happy hour early evening with free wine. Would have absolutely no hesitation using on future visits. Well done Harbor Court.

An excellent position in town is not enough to make an excellent hotel. Quality price ratio below expectations, considering the price paid per night (about 500 USD). Premium room with awesome view, but quite small and rather "wilted". Not all staff equally friendly and patient with non English proficient guests. Breakfast was the lowest point: poor variety of food and beverages, all cheaper hotels we stayed in during our trip in California did much better. Continental breakfast? I wonder what "continent" they had in mind...

There was a $150 a day deposit we had to put on.our credit card (should have been told in hotel description). Continental breakfast should have been better supplied. Store bought donuts by 8:30 or 9 first day. Coffee was do so. Still, Harbor Court was a great location, near San Francisco's Ferry Building and SF Bay. Lobby was lovely. Two good restaurants, Perry's and Ozuma on the block. Rooms surprisingly quiet. Would stay there again.

This property is well situated to the ferry building. Perry’s is a great bar stop! And the lobby is nice. Rooms were smaller, but in good shape. Nice bathrooms. Breakfast wasn’t something to count on.
