The Lodge at Breckenridge

Cozy and homey! There was easy shuttle service to/from the ski slopes with a great hot tub to soak in after! Everyone was nice and friendly

Beautiful views (get a room with a view), comfortable beds, modern bathroom, all very clean. Awesome outside deck with hot tub and gorgeous view. The hotel does have several flight of stairs to get from one place to another (no elevator ) so take this in consideration if mobility is an issue. Many little nooks with comfortable sofas to hang out, read a book and again, enjoy the view! The price was also very good which included breakfast and free parking. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Breckinridge!

The only feedback I have is there was no elevator…. We had a lot of stuff, but managed to get it to second floor nonetheless.

Beautiful Mountain View from the room. Updated room. Loved the shuttle option to town, free parking at the hotel. Only one of the hot tubs was warm though.

Views are amazing, the staff was extremely helpful. They have a free shuttle from the hotel to town, the drivers are very friendly offering information on places to visit, hike and eat. We ate dinner at the Traverse restaurant on site 2 nights, the food was great! Free breakfast is a bonus and free coffee available all day. The only downside is no AC in the rooms, however it does cool off at night.

Brought a friend from out of town and we loved it! Quaint, mountain vibes, nice rooms with lots of space and a gorgeous view. Plus a nice restaurant (with a super nice staff and bartender) and bar on site. You can also take a quick walk down to town for lots of dining options. Also super easy ski access.

An excellent stay A couple of minor improvements that could be considered There was a lack of breakfast / black tea with none available at breakfast but the hotel did provide tea pods for the machine in the room Bus transfers were excellent generally however could they be improved with an online tracking / booking service ( at one point the driver thought we were in a different location to the one we had booked a return from and therefore we had to wait a further 10 mins ( 40 mins total ) for a pick up. These are by no means deal breakers and we would return to the hotel in a heart beat

The view is beautiful. Even if you don’t get a Mountain View room, there are still plenty of areas to see the view. The shuttle to town is nice too and having hot tubs to unwind at the end of the day was a nice touch.

I absolutely loved our stay at The Lodge!! We were just there one night, but had a Mountain View and were super impressed with our room! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing that happened was I lost my phone charger at our previous stop and the Lodge did not sell the correct one for my phone, so I didn't have a cell phone for a night, which was fine. The lobby is very swanky and pretty. The restaurant was delicious! The hot tubs are a great touch. Would definitely come here again!

I was struggling to find the location, when I called the remote lady she transferred me to the hotel directly twice and when I was transferred the hotel hung up both times. When I arrived the two men did not seem to be having a great time, when I asked questions about the shuttle and the Christmas Eve dinner I received very dry responses. One of the guys even said “that is limited.” I don’t know if this this because I walked in speaking Spanish with my parents or what caused the discomfort. Once I got to my room, multiple surfaces were dusty and in poor condition. The restroom was dirty, the bathtub was not cleaned, the towel holder was dusty and the sink was dirty. The humidifier did not work. The cold would come in through the bottom of the door. This stay was a dream of mine and for the cost I am very disappointed.

Room was clean and it was a beautiful place to stay.

This hotel overall was a very nice location and we will visit again. Great views, breakfast and polite staff.. clean areas inside hotel. Rented the sled for $5 each but they had sleds at the hill for free. The ones we got are nicer and would recommend renting those as a lot we’re broken at the free pile. Knowledgeable staff. The room came with a humidifier, space heater, fan, and propane fireplace. We didn’t realize the windows open, room was hot and uncomfortable. But now we know about the windows. Bed was comfortable. What We didn’t like was dried boogers and blood on my sheets in bed, and food stain or blood stain on the robe. Took video and photos of that. Also the hours for hot tub being 10 PM, yet swim at your own risk is always funny these places can’t allow us to enjoy the limited amenities. Fording a later check in at 4pm and check out at 11 AM .. All these extra fees for this and that, $50 for one more hour check out? $75 to check in early? But our room was ready at 2:17 PM, but if we were to request a 2 PM check in we would’ve been charged, these things make no sense. And I can see this turning people off hardcore. I twisted my ankle and needed to hot tub and was told it was off limits after 10 PM.. so I had to suffer in pain because allowing us to use the hot tub is a crime. If you’re worried about people doing the wrong thing then hire security to walk premises to avoid that. Overall we will come back, but you all should work on these things…

The Lodge offered beautiful views for our stay in Breckenridge. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The only less than perfect item was the bed. It was not supportive and the pillows were a bit lumpy. It could have easily just been a personal preference. Would definitely stay here again though.

The facility is rustic by design and the property was clean. The check in staff was rude and unprofessional. The room was clean however it was a handicap accessible room not a standard room which I had reserved. The bathroom shower head had to be replaced due to very little water and water pressure. The shower fixture controls were backwards due to a plumber reversing the hot and cold lines when the bathroom was remodeled this past winter. The hot tubs had not been cleaned with dead insects floating all over the hot tub. The restaurant dinner and service was excellent. However, the restaurant continental breakfast was a joke. Little to no attendant service with food running out and not being replaced. Bacon either over cooked or undercooked on different days. No plates on two different days. There were over ripe bananas. I opened a carton of milk that was spoiled. No designated place to leave dirty plates. No coffee or hot water. I had to run down an attendant to correct that and the food issues with no apologies offered by the attendants. The check out was fast and friendly. The check in, the hot tubs and the breakfast are my reasons for not recommending this facility.

The room was too hot to sleep comfortably! The guests are unable to change the thermostat in their own room. They had a fan, but made terrible noise. The mattress was worn and lumpy

There was a small wedding the afternoon we arrived and unfortunately the reception was near our room, so it was very loud. They told us about this at check-in but we didn’t expect that it would be so close to us and so loud. Fortunately, the reception ended about 10 pm, so we were able to get some rest.

The Lodge was good place to stay. Not quite Excellent but very good. General theme was Rustic Mountain with lots of wood and beams. Common areas were clean and in good condition. Room was good, beds ok but air flow was poor even with windows open. There were ceiling fans and extra box fans available. Did use ceiling fan, quiet and modern looking. But was warmer on one side of room. Would recommend if you wanted to be away from town but think we will book different place closer to Breck for ourselves

This was a return trip for our family after an amazing trip in 2019. The beds were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was very good. Our room did not have air conditioning, which we did not realize. 76° in our room with the window and door open (facing the parking lot) with high pollen SUCKED. We did not get a good nights sleep and we're all stuffed up this morning. It was a big bummer for our family.

Views are spectacular and the cleanliness was superb. It was so refreshing to breathe in the mountain air! Having access to my own outdoor porch…just perfect. Breakfast was also delightful and just enough to get me started for the day. Overall, it was clean, quiet, comfortable and staff were very helpful. I’d stay here again

The room was great except there wasn’t air conditioning and we had the window open with a very loud box fan to cool down the room at night. With the room costing around $200 per night I would expect all the amenities included.

Our room was nice and it included a balcony. There was a storage room for my bicycle. The towels were nice, but the pillows weren't. The front desk staff was friendly.

Great view from the Mountain View room!! Our room was spacious with a sitting area and a kitchenette. We ate at the restaurant on site both nights and the food and drinks were delicious plus there is a beautiful Mountain View from the restaurant. There is a shuttle to and from town but it just felt easier to us to eat on site. The hotel and our room were clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. Our room was a bit dated and could have used some upgrades. There is no AC but there were fans. The room was warm in the late afternoon. We would definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful views of mountain, room was amazing

It was a nice room with a beautiful view. The bathroom was nice with excellent water flow and temperatures, but on the small side. We found the two queen beds were too soft. The daily breakfast bar was good and worth the extra lodge fee. The free van transportation to the town of Breckenridge was very convenient. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

I actually liked this lodge, parking, the setting and the staff. What I absolutely detest with every fiber in my body......"HIDDEN FEES!!!!!" This is a dishonest bait and switch tactic. If I see a site is showing a discount I think hey that's a good deal... until I get to the site and they add a "breakfast and room keep-up fee of 35 dollars a day." The breakfast was not special and the room only got cleaned once the 4 days I was there. I want to recommend this place but the hidden fees are so dishonest. Just add the fees to actual bottom line and be honest up front with your customers anything less is bait and switch. If you say breakfast is included then charge for it .... was it really included??? No. Come on be honest about your price. The worst part is the night guy forgot to charge me so they deactivated my room key to force me to pay locking me out of my room after a long day of skiing with my son. That was such a crappy way to get me to pay the fee that the supposed "new guy" missed. I think that could have been handled in a much more diplomatic way. The last weird thing was the "new guy" asked for a card on file and I gave him one. When they locked me out of my room they asked for it again??? It begs the question ....do these folks have their act together? Why do I have to suffer from an employee's supposed incompetence? Again nice place and great setting but I can't give the hidden fees, room lockout and card on file again and again my vote.

My stay at The Lodge at Breckenridge was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly perched to showcase some of the most breathtaking mountain views I’ve ever seen. The location couldn’t be better—peaceful, scenic, and just a short drive to downtown Breckenridge. Mark, our host, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and the entire hotel staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The on-site restaurant was excellent as well, with great food and an atmosphere that matched the view. I can’t recommend The Lodge at Breckenridge highly enough—it’s truly a gem in the mountains.

I want to give this place higher marks but I can't for one of many reasons. The main reason being "HIDDEN FEES". I like most people feel when you see a special and see breakfast is included think what a good deal. The price you see is the price.....No it is not in this case. The second day I am there I come back with my son from skiing only to have none of my room keys working. I go to the front desk where they tell me I need to pay an additional 130 dollars for Breakfast and housekeeping which was included in the Expedia price. This was so dishonest and such a crappy way to handle me paying the fee when supposedly "The New Guy" forgot to charge me this when I checked in. To add insult to injury then ask me again for a card on file. The "new guy" had already got one from me??? It really speaks to an company not having their act together. To me and many others the price you show is the price not a penny more. Anything else is considered bait and switch. You can talk to me all day about the small print but the bottom line is the bottom line. I ended up paying another 130 dollars ontop of the listed price. I had no choice as my stuff was locked in the room. It was a dishonest pricing policy and handled so poorly by locking me out of my room like some penniless hobo who was going to stiff them. I walked by the front door everyday. A simple call or even a quick "excuse me " would have been a much better way to handle it. I can't excuse hidden fees and poor service.

Staff were great! Kids loved riding the shuttle. Having the shuttle was a huge plus! Never waited more than 15-20 mins for a ride. Views were incredible! Definitely prep for altitude sickness. Hydrate and then hydrate some more!

Would highly recommend the Lodge @ Breck. We were booked for 3 nights stay, however, on the night before we arrived we ended up in ER with altitude sickness. Mark at the front desk was extremely helpful, trying to give us tips on how to overcome symptoms. The general manager was gracious to allow us to check out early since we were still not feeling normal. Also want to give a shout out to Wyatt (shuttle driver) & Jesus (breakfast cook) who also went above and beyond in their service to make us feel welcomed. Cannot say enough good about the staff!!

What a spectacular lodge and location! Located up the mountain across from the ski slope, it offers great views all over - from our room, from the restaurant, and from the porch. Be aware there is no elevator, so be prepared to take steps to your room and to the restaurant. The lodge offers a shuttle all day which will save you on parking in town. Our room was wonderful - what a great morning view watching the sum come up over the mountain. The bed was comfy. The room had a keurig type coffee maker which was excellent! There's happy hour at the bar offering discounted drinks and appetizers. Weather was nice so we enjoyed our cocktail on the outside porch. We were able to talk with other guests from the lodge as well as others who stopped by the restaurant for drinks and food! Truly a wonderful experience!

Beautiful lodge in beautiful setting. I went in winter so the property was covered in snow. Fantastic views of the surrounding area and mountains. Loved the easy shuttle that took us to main street.

Truly a lively quiet and excellent location for a weekend or longer. It feels remote yet is within a 10 minute drive to town with restaurants and evening events. Marvelous views and excellent facility.

Very very scenic we had a Mountain View Room it was fantastic. Nice and clean , friendly staff, easy check in and out. Parking included. Bar in restaurant very nice. Food was a disappointment. Especially Breakfast Eggs, waffles undercooked, batter was runny, Steak was overpriced for quality, Halibut was great but Cauliflower rice not so good We will give it a 2nd try and order something different

This Lodge feels is very nice. There are alot of houses, condos and hotels for lodging, but I like the feel of a real lodge. There is a restaurant and bar on site, 2 hot tubs with towels near it and robes to bring from the room. Breakfast is included with real food like bacon, eggs, etc. and it is pet friendly. good.

Hotels.com says the charge includes ALL fees and taxes, but this is not true. No matter where you read, there is no mention of the $31.91 per night fee they charge you when you arrive. The only place it is mentioned is the fine print in an email you receive AFTER you book. The fee covers all the stuff that comes with any other hotel. Also, the breakfast was low quality. The scrambled eggs were watery and looked like they came from a powdered mix. Copied from the fine print in my confirmation emai: You'll be asked to pay the following charges at the property. This was an amazing hotel to stay in for our Colorado vacation. Staff were excellent, the views are incredible from this hotel. It is only about 10 min drive from the Main street. Restaurant on site is little pricey, but everything we ate was fresh and delicious.
