Everyone was very friendly. The young lady at the desk was especially friendly with a smile all the time. The breakfast was very good and plenty to eat. It was very clean and well kept in all areas. I was also pleased that it was pet friendly. She did very well and everyone was friendly with our dog. Thank you for making our visit very pleasant and enjoyable. This is one of my favorite Hampton Inns. I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach and they are not that pleasant and friendly.

We were there to help move in my daughter. The hotel is right off Archer Road exit. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. The hotel and rooms are little older style but did the job. The rooms ar comfortable and clean. They had daily room service which was nice to come back to the room after long days helping with move in and shopping for essentials. Rhe hotel had daily complimentary breakfast but it was the same everyday. No big deal especially for quick grab and go. The room had microwave and mini fridge...standard features in most hotel rooms. Overall pleased with our stay and good value for the money.

Very disappointed. The first Hampton we have stayed at with NO BUSINESS CENTER! I own a business & need to work when I travel. Internet was very spotty & inconvenient. Also, tried to put in exterior room opening to parking lot. We insisted on an interior room. Lots of road noise from I75. Will not stay at this hotel again

Check-in/out was drama free. Front desk clerk was welcoming, efficient and polite. Many times the clerk never looks up from his/her computer to acknowledge your existence. He even offered us complimentary water bottles upon arrival. I was traveling with my small dog and he even acknowledged him and asked if we needed anything. Room was clean, AC was perfect, wifi and tv worked. Fitness room was clean and pool was nice. We had stayed in a nearby hotel, this time last year, and it was gross. Spend the money and stay here!

We love this place! Comfy rooms, great service, delicious breakfast with adequate choices and friendly attendants. A bonus that my husband likes is the charging station for use by his plug-in hybrid vehicle. Here this time for our son’s graduation from UF so it might be our last stay for a while.

The manager, Kathleen, is wonderful. She checked us in and treated us like we were family. In the room, I’d say it needs glassware or something other than the paper coffee cups for iced beverages. The paper ones were disintegrating. I love that they have self pour taps in the lobby for wine and beer, though I didn’t partake this time. We had a situation where my wife slipped and fell on the recently mopped tile by the elevator bay. No major injury, but the front desk agent, Juliana, and Kathleen handled it so well. We are very impressed and appreciative.

My stay was a terrible experience. The room had a strong smell of smoke, and the bathroom had an unpleasant sewage odor. Lobby, hallways, rooms are clean and maintained. The front desk assistant greeted us and was very informative and friendly. Hotel is located close to many stores and restaurants. Highly recommend for this area in Gainesville.

The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast in the morning had some nice options. Plenty of restaurants, Publix, target and gas stations close by. My only complaint was the room did not smell very good. If you have ever smelt a wet carpet, That was the odor in the room. We arrived late and left early so we did not make much of a fuss about it, but it definitely made it hard to be completely comfortable in the room as though that was the issue likely stay at the Hampton Inn again That was a one time thing.

Me and family had a great time staying at the Hampton Inn in Gainesville’s. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be booking the Hampton next time I am in town. I really enjoyed my stay. Shout to to my girl Seven, a sweetheart and with great customer service. She made sure I had everything I needed and checked in from time to time .

Stayed here one night with our two small kids. Pros: price for a suite with sliding door and pull out bed, great breakfast with fresh offerings, one and a half baths, friendly service. Cons: our room was outside access, which I did not know was an option. Lighting in the room was poor with no overhead. Our one TV and fridge did not work. By the time we figured that out our kids were asleep and we didn't want to call for service. You will hear noise from the road.

Beds need to be replaced. The squeak with the smallest movement prompting us to use ear plugs. Also, the outlet in the lamp didn’t work! Wall outlets worn out!!

We paid (gouged) over $500 per night (2 nights) because it was UF Family Weekend. There was a funky smell in the lobby. Our room was ok: clean, plenty of towels, shower supplies, etc. however, i found it uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible, the sheets were pilled and the ac unit was loud while running and turning off, plus it took a while to cool off. Breakfast was very good- food and replenished quickly. Charging over $500 a night is simply awful and greedy. We paid it b/c we wanted to see our daughter. I don’t think we will stay here again.

I asked for clean towels at 7 AM and did not get them until 9 PM after asking several timesz and heard every excuse from Covid to shortage of towels. The person who brought them up weas super nice and very apolgetic but Erikca at hte forn desk was rude and not friendly at all and should not be in customer service.

We stayed here for 2 nights. I reserved several months in advance being New Year’s Eve. They over booked so did not get the room I requested. The toilet was plugged on arrival so we notified the desk. They said no problem since maintenance was there. Came back after visiting family for New Year’s Eve late of course and the problem was not addressed. We had to use the bathroom in the lobby. Told them upon leaving and they would not adjust our bill for our inconvenience.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for Move-In Weekend for UF. When we arrived after a seven hour drive, then 5 hours of moving in the Florida heat, we wanted to relax. The General Manager had booked a VERY LOUD birthday party on the Second Floor that was suppose to last until 11pm. It went over and many of the guest complained, called, showed up in the lobby. It was very disrespectful to disrupted the entire hotel for one party.

This property was amazing!!! conveniently located by Butler Plaza, gas stations, restaurants and stores. Its nice and quiet on the outside and very clean and modern on the inside. Additionally, Ashaur was such a blessing! He made our check in process seamless and effortless. Super nice and professional. Made sure the process of extending out room was easy and made sure the system was updated accordingly. He reserves a raise and a promotion!! Great experience, great hospitality, and we will be back again!

Worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. Should have gone to Motel 6! People were rude & stupid. Had a 2 night stay booked, got back to the room second day, we were locked out and housekeeping had been in the room with the “DO NOT DISTURB “ sign on the door. Will definitely be calling corporate. We complained and got kicked out.

Location! This property location is fantastic if you have a car. It is not to far from the downtown area but a far distance in car. Ideally located. While property is a little dated it had what we needed for our stay over the 4th holiday.

I stayed in one King bedroom for 3 nights. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and nice. Bed comfortable, large refrigerator. Eco friendly water power conservation effort changing towels sheets on every 4th day of stay, but can be requested if needed before then. Check in and out was quick. But check in staff seemed like a robot, like she wanted to complete the process as quickly possible, no smiles or any human connections, left me feeling almost unwelcomed or she didn’t care. A warm greeting would have felt nice after a long exhausting travel. Food could have been better especially scrambled eggs had rubbery texture with no taste, bacon and potatoes were soggy. Not much option for fresh fruits. So I ate breakfast elsewhere.
