Great hotel. Pretty clean and modern rooms. Right next to the beach with a nice pool and restaurant right on site. They provide beach chairs for guests to use. My only negative would be that they dont have beach umbrellas or some time of sun cover for guests to use.

Resort was great! Rooms were convenient and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area was well maintained and not too crowded. Breezer’s pool bar was friendly and the food was tasty!

Very lovely and well-maintained grounds, pool area, beach with good quality beach chairs and towels. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed including a safe, refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing board and a convenient and nice bathroom and amenities. The tiki bar closed too early at 7 pm and the restaurant/market did not offer much of a menu, but there are very good restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel. Love the accommodations. Super clean. Daily maid service a real treat. Pool and bar in close proximity. Beach is a short walk. Beach towels, chairs and loungers were provided at no extra cost. Free parking for guests. Ice machines in central location.

Our fantastic stay started before we even arrived! We received a message that stated if we were in the area early, to come by and check in. If our room was not ready they would give us resort passes until it was. Before we had even finished lunch, our room was ready—- about 4 hours early. The communication and the fact that a hotel did this was such a pleasant surprise. Of course we just dropped off our luggage and went straight to the beach. No need to pack beach towels, lounging chairs or even a shell bag. Just pack some sunscreen and bug spray. Restaurant service and food was good. For breakfast, it is more like a cafe. We grabbed our coffee and breakfast sandwich and headed straight to the beach. For lunch the day before, I had a Sonoma Salad, it included fresh grilled chicken. It was very well presented and delicious. My husband had a burger which he said was very good. I would highly recommend the stay here! Easy beach access, parking is included (public beaches on Sanibel charge $5 an hour and from what I read, you need to get there early) Tons of shells and good memories.

The room was nice. It had everything we needed. The resort was quiet and its location on the beach was nice. Beach chairs were set up on the beach for us and beach towels were provided. The pool area was great with food and drink right beside it. We also liked the fact that waterproof wrist bands were provided that worked as our room key. It was so nice not having to worry about keeping up with a key. Overall it was a great experience.

Dirty room the air conditioner blew warm air large gap under front door so what ever air you did get it went right out the front door also we found someone's medication all over the bathroom floor what if a small child was to find something like that we would never again stay there when we tols the front desk the found it funny really!!!!!

I absolutely love what they’ve done with this place. I’ve been staying at this hotel for years, back when it was owned by other companies, and it has always felt safe and quiet. If you asked younger me, I’d say the food and bar used to be better, but I wouldn’t trade that for the massive upgrade they’ve done to the rooms. I can be a bit of a hotel snob, and this property impressed me. Everything felt spotless—no stray hairs, no lingering smells, none of that “Orlando Water Park Resort” scent I can’t stand. Even being so close to the beach, the room felt fresh and exceptionally clean. The sheets, bathroom, and overall setup were perfect. The food and drinks at the bar were great, and I was thrilled to see my old buddy Melton still working there! What really stood out, though, was how friendly and accommodating the staff was. That made all the difference. This hotel is special to me. I grew up in Sanibel, as my grandmother lived right across the street, and I spent a lot of my life staying here or hanging out at the restaurant and bar. She’s now at Shell Point retirement home just off the island, and on this visit to see her, I decided to stay at the newly opened hotel. I couldn’t have been happier with that choice. From thinking I’d never stay in Sanibel again, to finding an affordable, clean, safe, and welcoming hotel that I’ve seen evolve over the last 30 years, it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend it.

There were cockroaches in the room, how disgusting, they walked all over my girls during the night, the towels in the room had a very strong, burnt smell that remained on your body when you dried yourself.

Meh, we were put in room 105, across from stairwell, noisy. Room was clean and well appointed, there was entire strip of tile missing in the bathroom, weird and ugly. The nightlight in the bathroom stays on 24/7. This normally would not be a problem except for the fact that the bathroom door has opaque glass panels. Pool bar has ridiculous prices...27.95 for two Titos and sodas!!! All of the above could have been overlooked had it not been for the fact that there were no umbrellas provided at the beach. Chaise lounges, but no umbrellas...drumroll, they sell them at the office for 35.00. Tiny, Panama Jack umbrellas. That was the nail in the coffin for me...gauche, to say the least. It was as if you were on a cruise and ANYTHING was extra. Lots of other places to stay at on Sanibel, i suggest you keep looking.

Our newest “favorite place to stay” on Sanibel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool is large and clean and comfortable to swim in, and most importantly the beach is a short distance from our door! Reasonably priced and lovely. We will be back!

It was a great location right on the beach with an easy walk back and forth. They also had a pool. The rooms are tiny. If you have a family of four you need a full kitchen suite. The two queen room didn’t even have room to open up a suitcase. It was not super clean and closer to a two star hotel for cleanliness. But the location was awesome.

Great ocean front property. The rooms were modern and clean. The exteriors had nice landscaping, and the bar by the pool had nice music and drink specials. We really enjoyed the restaurant. Their in-house restaurant, called BRGR, had excellent dinner and lunch dishes, truly delicious, served with amazing service. Breakfast was not as great, but I will definitely recommend it for dinner.

A perfect boutique hotel right on the beach! Our room was super nice and recently updated. It was spacious for a typical hotel room. The property and pool/outside areas were well kept and staff was great. Nice lounge chairs were put out on the beach daily for guests and towels were plentiful. Poolside there was a bar where you could get all kinds of drinks (albeit a bit pricy!) or food. Our first afternoon we had a couple hours of rain, but joined other guests at the poolside covered bar and before you knew it, everyone was talking, laughing and introducing themselves. Made for a fun couple of days as we’d run into each other at the beach or pool. We would definitely return to this property!

We couldn’t help but feel duped by images of freshly renovated rooms when we checked into our room and were greeted by a room that needed an update. It appears one building was updated and the other not. Bummer. The good: The front desk staff were friendly, and offered early check-in. There were complementary chairs on the beach. The beach was not crowded and clean. The bad: The room wasn’t as pictured, not even close. The bathroom was tiny and dated with cracked tile. I would have booked elsewhere had I known. The cleaning staff were literally everywhere when we were trying to leave at 0815, making it difficult to get out to the car with our bags.

This has been our go to spot when we visit my wife’s favorite place on earth. The staff is great. Burger the on property restaurant serves great food, including truffle fries. Walking out the door of our room right to the beach can’t be beat.

For the large price we did not except the room to not only be dirty especially in the bathroom but also no elevator to upper floors and stairs are not secure. Staff members fighting at pool bar. If you were only pay $100-$150 a night it wouldn’t be bad but for $500 a night we will never return.

Overall it was a great stay at your resort but we felt the prices for food and drinks were very expensive at pool side . The day we were leaving my girlfriend decided to get us coffee at the restaurant on site, as she was walking across the parking lot the men doing the tree trimming were whistling at he as she walked by. I find this behavior is unexpected and I made mention to the front desk.

Our fantastic stay started before we even arrived! We received a message that stated if we were in the area early, to come by and check in. If our room was not ready they would give us resort passes until it was. Before we had even finished lunch, our room was ready—- about 4 hours early. The communication and the fact that a hotel did this was such a pleasant surprise. Of course we just dropped off our luggage and went straight to the beach. No need to pack beach towels, lounging chairs or even a shell bag. Just pack some sunscreen and bug spray. Restaurant service and food was good. For breakfast, it is more like a cafe. We grabbed our coffee and breakfast sandwich and headed straight to the beach. For lunch the day before, I had a Sonoma Salad, it included fresh grilled chicken. It was very well presented and delicious. My husband had a burger which he said was very good. I would highly recommend the stay here! Easy beach access, parking is included (public beaches on Sanibel charge $5 an hour and from what I read, you need to get there early) Tons of shells and good memories.

We had a delightful long weekend here in May 2025. Our room had been recently been renovated and was just lovely. We were very close to the pool but our room was very quiet. We used the Keurig and mini fridge. Staff was very helpful including maintenance and Tiki bar staff. We loved having direct access to the beach and that chairs were supplied. We spotted dolphins in the water and a turtle on the beach. During our visit we rented bikes from Billy’s Bikes to explore the island, visited Ft Myers Beach and went on a shelling, snorkeling, dolphin cruise. A really great stay all around! Would return!

Sanibel Island Beach Resort Checked all the boxes for our stay. It was easy to get to, and conveniently located on the beach so we could go out and collect shells anytime we liked. The staff was great, so helpful and friendly. They seemed like they were genuinely happy to be there. I would especially like to thank Annabel on the housekeeping crew for fielding a lot of my requests during her busy day. Thanks so much! Also, the drinks at the pool tiki bar were refreshing after a long day at the beach.

One of the best location in Sanibel. The beach is incredible. The rooms and buildings are renewed. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The front desk employees, the employees at the restaurant and pool bar are so polite, nice and very helpful. Everything was great. It is a great hotel for kids. The room was great - it had everything we needed. Do expect noise though - the building we were in was not new so there was no (or very little) sound proofing so we could hear loud noises from the rooms on either side of us and foot steps from the room above us. It did quiet down at night so it was fine. The location is perfect - it is located at the center of Sanibel island. Will definitely stay here again.

Great ocean front property. The rooms were modern and clean. The exteriors had nice landscaping, and the bar by the pool had nice music and drink specials. We really enjoyed the restaurant. Their in-house restaurant, called BRGR, had excellent dinner and lunch dishes, truly delicious, served with amazing service. Breakfast was not as great, but I will definitely recommend it for dinner.

Very lovely and well-maintained grounds, pool area, beach with good quality beach chairs and towels. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed including a safe, refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing board and a convenient and nice bathroom and amenities. The tiki bar closed too early at 7 pm and the restaurant/market did not offer much of a menu, but there are very good restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff. Dinner was good. Morning coffee was bad. Need to learn how to make a cappuccino without a liter of milk! Also your espresso is NOT a double shot. Resort fee is tacky: no umbrellas, inconsistent service (but very nice, but only two guys), Im gonna ask for a refund on that fee.

From front desk to pool to beach, all the staff is excellent. In the summer evenings, the mosquitos and noseeums are really, really bad. If you have a ground floor room by a stairwell, it can be noisy. Notwithstanding, we will definitely visit and stay again.

This hotel was perfect for my cousin and my self however when we arrived our commode in our room was stopped up and I called the office and they came and plunged the commode but couldnt get it un stopped. I felt the proper thing to do would be move us to another room so that 2 elderly ladies could properly use the bathroom as needed!!!!!
