We had a wonderful stay at Anat and Jamie's 1 bedroom cottage in High Falls. The location is fantastic (right near a bike trail) and we enjoyed total privacy while knowing the owners were close by if we needed anything. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable, clean and charming. We are planning to return soon!

A quaint cottage-style home, perfectly suited for a couple. As cycling enthusiasts, my wife and I really appreciated the property's proximity to the nearby rail trail. Being able to ride to the trail from the house was especially nice. Although sparsely furnished, the cottage includes virtually everything you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and appliances. The furnishing, particularly the living room area, could be a bit more welcoming and the television was a bit small for the space. Aside from this minor drawback, we would highly recommend these accomodations.

This was one of the most idyllic spots imaginable, and the care and attention to detail of the owners is exemplary in the outfitting of a beautifully-renovated kitchen, and in original artwork by the owners displayed throughout. Very comfy bed and lovely patio off the dining area, overlooking a horse pasture with equine friends grazing nearby. I will return!

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing place. The back patio is gorgeous with a view of the horses, beautiful flowers, a grill and a firepit. The owner, an artist, lives next door and was very kind to deal with and gave us our privacy! Lovely artwork throughout the house.

We visit the 'Gunks often and feel very fortunate to have discovered Leggett Cottage for the last 5 days of our visit. The cottage is beautifully renovated, with lots of open space, light, and great air conditioning for the very hot days. The views from the back terrace were lovely -- horses in the field and a beautiful garden. We rode and walked on the nearby O & W Rail Trail and Anat showed us where to store our bikes when not in use. Our interactions with Anat and Jamie were very cordial. We had a very peaceful visit and highly recommend the cottage. We'll be back!

This cottage is one of the best VRBO properties we have rented. The kitchen and bathroom are modernized and had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable and the location is quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit, the garden and morning greeting by the neighboring horses. There is a rail trail access just down the road and the location is convenient to several other rail trails within a half hour drive.

We had an wonderful stay at the property while we visited friends in Wallkill. It was exactly as described- very clean, nice quiet setting, etc. We met Anat when she checked in to see how we were doing, and she was very nice and kind; we would absolutely stay here again!

We have stayed at this cottage multiple times. It's very well kept and in a good location - right next to a rail trail that you can ride to Hurley (George Washington had a party there). From the patio you can watch horses prancing on the property next door. If you need anything, there is a market a few minutes away. The High Falls food co-op is even closer. Rosendale trestle and cement mines are not far. Or drive a little further to the magnificent Ashokan Reservoir. The hosts are lovely people.

From the patio you can watch horses prancing on the property next door. If you need anything, there is a market a few minutes away. The High Falls food co-op is even closer. My husband and I arrived with our bikes and enthusiasm! We hiked at Mannawaska State Park, and swam in their lovely lake as well. There are bike paths just near their home. Our hosts Anat and Jaime were lovely and attentive to our needs. The comfort of having a great sleep could be had due to the bed which was very comfortable! We had a fabulous time hiking, swimming, biking and relaxing.
My husband and I arrived with our bikes and enthusiasm! We hiked at Mannawaska State Park, and swam in their lovely lake as well. There are bike paths just near their home. Our hosts Anat and Jaime were lovely and attentive to our needs. The comfort of having a great sleep could be had due to the bed which was very comfortable! My husband and I arrived with our bikes and enthusiasm! We hiked at Mannawaska State Park, and swam in their lovely lake as well. There are bike paths just near their home. Our hosts Anat and Jaime were lovely and attentive to our needs. The comfort of having a great sleep could be had due to the bed which was very comfortable! We had a fabulous time hiking, swimming, biking and relaxing.

High Falls is our favorite hamlet in the Mid-Hudson Valley and our stay here was perfect! The location is very close to Main St with its wonderful restaurants. The other thing I loved was the really interesting artwork. But overall a great find. Don't hesitate to make this your home base any time of year.

I enjoyed my stay at Anat’s house, it was comfortable and well equipped. It is situated close to the Catskills, Gunks and not far from Kingston and New Paltz.

We have stayed at this cottage multiple times. It's very well kept and in a good location - right next to a rail trail that you can ride to Hurley (George Washington had a party there). From the patio you can watch horses prancing on the property next door. If you need anything, there is a market a few minutes away. The High Falls food co-op is even closer. Rosendale trestle and cement mines are not far. Or drive a little further to the magnificent Ashokan Reservoir. The hosts are lovely people.

This was our first time staying at Anat and Jamie's cottage. It was spacious, clean, quiet, and extremely comfy, with all the amenities one could need for a lovely getaway. The setting is gorgeous. The location is close to many fun places to enjoy outdoor adventures. Can't wait to return!

An extremely comfortable cottage without the small cottage feel! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Air conditioning was ample with the muggy weather. Bed was comfortable. Hot water was plentiful and the bathroom was spotless! The view out the back was like a postcard of nature at its best!

This cottage is one of the best VRBO properties we have rented. The kitchen and bathroom are modernized and had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable and the location is quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit, the garden and morning greeting by the neighboring horses. There is a rail trail access just down the road and the location is convenient to several other rail trails within a half hour drive.
