Good location and a piece of Asbury Park history! The updated decor and amenities are worth it. The infrastructure of the building is still old so AC wasn’t great and the room phone had to be activated manually (weird).

Overall a good experience, but price was very high for what was offered. We reserved a room for 4 guests, confirmed 4 guests upon check in, but were given only 2 towels and had to ask for more. Mattresses were very firm and not overly comfortable. Pillows were thin and hard; probably the worst part of the whole experience. Room was clean and orderly, but a little run down-- cracks in the ceiling, stains on the bathroom tile, ceiling paint on the walls. Skip the hotel restaurants. Food is mediocre and cocktails weak/watery. It also appears that when the valet runs out of parking spaces they park on the grass around the hotel? However, the staff was excellent. Courteous and helpful. Proximity to the beach/boardwalk can't be beat. The main lobby and grounds are beautiful. Would stay again... at half the price.

It was very hard to sleep. The crack in the doorframe was so large it was very bright in the room all night. Also the AC kicks off and on very loudly it woke us up. Kicker… 11 dollar superlyte at the bar

Lots of hidden charges. Wayyyy too expensive for a hotel in Asbury Park. This is not NYC.
