Baymont by Wyndham Albuquerque Airport

Staff was incredibly friendly. Loved that continental breakfast started at 6am. Seemed to be plenty of parking. Website said they had an airport shuttle upon request but what they actually did was book (and paid) for a rideshare. The room was stuffy and muggy when I arrived. There were 3 very visible stains on the duvet. There is no way that someone wouldn’t have noticed that when they made the bed. But the sheets underneath seemed clean. No issue logging onto WiFi. Room did the job for a quick overnight stay that was close to the airport.

No coffee or tea available in the lobby, which we are used to from other hotels. But it’s a beautiful hotel with great rooms. The shuttle service is fabulous

Hotel was clean, carpeting and flooring were clean. We used the pool and we had a great time.

Parking and the cameras outside made you feel safe.

Multiple pet relief areas felt safe walking outside. Parking for vehicles very good and viewable from room also easy access to car from room. Super clean and new feeling. Quiet rooms !! Breakfast exceptional for all types of dietary needs. Good fresh coffee kind front desk men

Secure parking and fencing

We stay here about every year. Only complaint is complimentary shuttle to airport does not start until 5 am. Our plane left at 5 am. I asked the girl what I needed to do because I had to get to the airport. She said. “You’re on your own”. I said well I have to do something do you have any numbers I can call. She said there’s a card right there you can call. Was really disappointed with her especially since we like staying there. I’ll really have to think about staying there the next time I’m in ABQ.

The property itself was very clean, updated, and nice. It's gated and has security to check the grounds at night. The area surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy but close to restaurants and stores.

Shuttle to/from airport is on call, not a set schedule. Staff was excellent and very observant of the exterior.

I felt safe walking in the parking lot. It was well lit and fenced.

The shower had the last guest hair in it as did one of the beds, the bathroom floor and top and bottom of the toilet seat. We have been traveling for 25 days and it was late and we were exhausted. The night front desk clerk was very nice. We did tell the clerk first thing in the morning and he said. “Oh. I’m sorry”. That was it. The location is not the safe part of town. I based our reservation on other reviews. But, sadly, they were deceiving. Go elsewhere.

Shower was disgusting. There was mold and/or dirt all around the shower enclosure. The caulking looked 20 years old, was peeling off and discolored.The shower head also had corrosion and mold on it. The drain cap in the shower pan was bent and rusted. The pipe from the shower head was pulled out of the wall. The bed cover had stains on it. The door to the room did not latch unless it was pushed firmly closed, and it had a nice sized gap between it and the frame. I had already made another reservation, but I’m going to try to cancel it. Would not recommend unless you are ok with what I mentioned. My room was 104.

We discovered our duvet had blood on it from a previous guest. Attempted to contact the front desk with no response. We had to remove it and use our own blanket. The next morning I text the number they contacted me on and was instructed I could come down and get fresh linen. Unacceptable!!

Does not deserve a wonderful rating. Sheets and room dirty. Room was just so-so. If there is someone above you, you can hear every footstep, so don’t expect a quiet night unless those around you are quiet. We could hear other guests dogs barking at night. Mattress was sagging, pillows were unusually small and very hard. Redeeming quality was the free breakfast.

It was loud in the room with conversations next door and hallway sounds coming straight in. The fridge was unplugged when we arrived requiring a while to cool down.

Excellent place, very clean and updated. My room was spacious and very nice.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable as well. The air conditioner unit was noisy as well as the outside noise (room faced the freeway).

We ❤️ our room! It's spacious as bedroom is separated from living/kitchen area. Also, it is clean and the ambience is very welcoming.

Overall a very nice room and hotel in general. If you are not a heavy sleeper I suggest you request a top floor. The noise from the hallway and room above were very disturbing as was the loud AC.

Nice, but walls are thin

We stayed in a king suite. It was clean and spacious.

The room we had (227) and the room above us had terrible creaking and loose floors. When we walked everything in the room vibrated. This is not the first time I’ve stayed here where the floors are an issue.

The good - Clean room, good breakfast, excellent staff! The bad - The bathroom floor was warped so the door would get stuck when opening. The water pressure was very low and the pillows were small and hard.

Welcoming, ready to help staff. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast, easy parking.

Everything about the stay was good with the exception of some very rude people in the room next to me that were having a party and making excessive noise until 4:00 am. I called and complained at the front desk and they called the room and they still didn’t stop and nothing more was done!

The staff really shine at this hotel. The check in process was smooth. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Thank you!

The Baymont was updated, very clean and comfortable. The person at check-in was friendly and courteous.

The front desk guy (Lupe) was very rude when we checked in and the whole time he looked like he was frustrated!! This is why I do check in online so I don’t have to deal with rude people but this time he still asked for all my stuff I had already done online!!!

Eh it was an ok stay. The staff up front gave us a hard time checking in and then gave us the wrong room number and that room was already occupied. I do t think we’d stay there again. The room was hot as hell when we finally got our room and the air conditioner worked but took 2 hours to get the temperature down.

This was our first time visiting Albuquerque for a concert at the Isleta Amphitheatre, and we weren’t sure where to stay. After seeing many positive reviews, we decided to give this hotel a shot—and overall, it was a good choice. Conveniently located right off the freeway, which made getting around super easy. Despite its proximity to the road, we barely heard any traffic noise. It’s also close to restaurants, gas stations, and just a short drive to Old Town for shopping and dining. Parking fills up quickly at night, so plan accordingly. The area felt just okay—not sketchy, but not upscale either. I felt more comfortable parking under the lights, though I never felt unsafe on the property or inside the hotel. Rooms are definitely older, but not terrible. The beds were surprisingly comfy and the hotel was quiet at night, which made for a restful sleep. A couple of quirks: the bathroom door was sticky and hard to open, and the lights flickered occasionally. The carpet was worn, so I’d recommend keeping something on your feet. Everything was clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—something that’s becoming rare these days. Huge kudos to the team for their excellent customer care. Breakfast was blah! Quick snack or some coffee/juice, but nothing notable. I wish they would keep coffee/tea out all day for guests. Nice property, good price, great staff, only concern was the neighborhood wasn't so nice.

Very nice motel. Clean clean clean. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. The surrounding neighborhood is a little dicey, bars on the windows etc, but we felt safe. A nightlight in the commode/shower room would have been nice I mean who wants to have to turn on a blinding bright light at 2AM to go to the bathroom. Otherwise very nice

The entire facility was clean and in good repair. The room size was smaller than preferred--just big enough for a couple feet on all sides of the bed. Breakfast included a variety of hot foods (eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes)

There were roaches in the room, the breakfast was not available-fruit was rotten, no waffles or eggs available, coffee was cold. When asked, the staff member just shrugged and walked away

We will stay again...but next time will skip the "breakfast".

Nice hotel. Clean and plenty of parking. Close to several restaurants. Easy access to and off highway. Breakfast was ok. Not to many choices. Have stayed at other hotels with a lot more options at breakfast. Would stay here again.

I wouldn't pay $50 to stay at this place. But, times being what they are, they charged $170. What a joke. The breakfast selection is better at a gas station.

Nice and clean motel. Lots of restaurants within 1 mile. We travel with a small dog and it was good for him. Great breakfast.

Quick overnight trip to Albuquerque and the Baymont was a perfect choice. Clean, affordable and convenient to our event. Breakfast was great too. The green chili for the eggs....nice touch!

We had an end suite which was wonderful to have a living area and bedroom area. The hotel staff was great. Breakfast was above average with a large selection of items. Plus, the chocolate chip cookies put out in the evening were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel near the airport.
