Pool was great. Elevator didn’t work 75% of time. Parking lot needs replaced full of holes. Landscape needs weeding and trash removed. Bathrooms need remodeled. Service people are great and very helpful!!!

Exterior and interior look a little shabby.. most of the parking was in the back, which was inconvenient and also very limited due to many construction vehicles and supplies parked there. There needs to be another way in and out of the parking lot because some guests had large vehicles towing large boats that took up space and blocked the flow of traffic in and around the parking lot. The door handle to get in the building out back was installed crooked.

Right off the bat, the pool was closed for the season, even though it was supposed to be open for Labor Day weekend. It was very dirty in our room. The bathroom door was broken. And the morning of checking out I found two bugs on the night stand between the two beds in our room. The only thing that saved me from going to a different hotel is the one front desk girl. She was very nice and tried her best to accommodate the worries I had. I would not likely stay here again.

We have stayed at this location before it became a Comfort Inn and after. The rooms are very roomy and nice. One complaint is the vanity in the bathroom has very little counter space. You tend to have a lot of stuff with you because you're traveling. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bathtub could have used a little shot of clorox on the tub surround. One good thing is there was lots of hot water. The breakfast is much improved since they became a Comfort Inn. The location is great if you're going to Presque Isle or Waldameer. It has an outdoor pool, which we wanted to use, but it was already closed up for the season before Labor Day. Labor Day is supposed to be the last day it's open, but unfortunately it was not. Otherwise it's a nice property and we'd stay again in the future.

The property had a good amount of seating for the breakfast. The staff were attentive and on task with the performance of their jobs. The breakfast drinks machine was broken and the vending machine options were sparse. The elevator seemed out of service sporadically while I was there. I appreciate the location of the hotel in relation to food options in the area.

The hotel, as a whole, was very dirty. The carpets were soiled and looked like they had not been vacuumed in quite some time, in the room and throughout the hallways. The elevator was also very dirty. Dirty, smeared mirrors and faucet in bathroom. Not once did I see any cleaning staff or a maid service cart. The lobby and eating area was tidy and surface clean. My sheets were clean and since the only time I spent in the room was to sleep, I did not lodge a complaint.

Our room was dirty, I swear the just folded the towels that were on the floor and put them on the bed. Mold on the bathroom walls. Our toilet was acting up. Hope they continue their remodel for the better.

Obviously the hotel is being remodeled so perhaps it will improve. It is also convenient to this part of time. We had to switch rooms because the heater didn't work in the first. The beds were comfortable. Trash pickup throughout the hotel needs to improve. At least one of the employees smoked marijuana near the building with the smell coming in our room and the hallway. Also, in both rooms the tub & shower needed bleach to eliminate the mold/mildew around the edge.

The wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom, there was food or something all over the remote, there was dirty toilet paper on the carpet, and the TV didn't work. Overall is was terrible. I was given a different room based on the above, and on first glance it was much better, but then I realized the bathroom was just as bad as the first. The pool was nothing close to great. Although I paid for two nights, I only stayed for the first as it was not worth staying the second night. I didn't even use the shower and waited to shower when i got home the same day. When i checked out early, I wasn't even asked why.

The bathroom was dirty. I spilled the water on the floor and cleaned it up a towel and the towel was brown. They were blood spots on the sheets. The sheets had been washed but I don't want little flecks of blood stain on them. The comforters had a smell to them. I would not recommend

The staff was good. The TV in our room did not work properly and our tub also did not drain properly. It was about 6 inches deep when done showering and took awhile to drain. We told the staff and they were very apologetic. We liked the comfort of the beds, the quietness of the facility and will return. This is our 2nd year staying here.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We switched rooms twice. Once bc our original room hadn’t been serviced from the last guest, but their computer system had gone down, so no big deal. The second room didn’t have functional heating. The room we stayed in had heating, but also dysfunctional, we had it on 66 degrees and were sweating. Then the refrigerator started making a clicking that last throughout the night.

The walls are extremely thin and it was so noisy very late into the night (1-2am). We had to blast white noise in order to sleep, and even then our neighbours could be heard very easily. In the morning we woke up to the noise neighbours beside us and in the hall, very disruptive and annoying. The bathtub didn’t drain properly so it slowly filled up with water as we showered. Size of the room was decent for a basic hotel, and fairly clean. I wouldn’t come here again for the risk of noisy neighbours, since the walls are very thin and there’s no noise isolation. Otherwise, decent place for a brief, last-minute stop if you just need a place to sleep.

We stayed for three nights with family. The property is a bit old, and a few things are not great. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, and none of the bathrooms had working vents. We rented two connecting rooms. No attempt was made to fix the bathroom vent. It seems they know about the issue. During the first day of staying, someone smoked, and it was very smelly inside the room. Otherwise, breakfast was reasonable. The staff was friendly. The swimming pool was under reconstruction, not mentioned on the website.

I’ve stay here a few times and enjoyed staying there. The bathroom in are room had some cracked tile that was lifting up. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy. All in all we really like it there!! We did report the a/c to the front desk.

The check in clerk, Valerie, was the greatest we've ever had. She was able to quickly switch us to a handicapped room and other contacts with were great. Breakfast was great. Only bad thing was we did not get maid service until we left.

Check in was less than ideal…we were given our room and when we entered it there were already people in it. When I went back to the front desk the employee looked at me like I was crazy when I told her we entered the room she provided keys to and there were already people in it. Makes you question the safety of your stay if I was able to use the keys to an already occupied room

The front desk attendant (Juan) was extremely friendly. Professional. We were in town for the Chris Brown concert, and he was very helpful in informing us about the venue, traffic, parking and restaurants. He is an asset.

I walked to the counter to check in around 9 PM. As soon as I reached the counter I was told to hold on she needed to use the rest room. She returned 15 minutes later. She then told me that she didn't have the king room I booked available. I accepted what she had. When I got to the floor, the door to my room was wide open. Then there was no shower curtain. I called the front desk and was told to come down to the lobby and she’d see what she could do. I went down and was told they had no shower curtains available. After showering with no curtain, i was cleaning up the floor and under the bathroom counter there was a pile of dirty towels pushed back in the corner. Disgusting and terrible customer service. If you have a choice-Don’t stay here.

It’s truly the “little things” that make a difference to make you comfortable when you are staying in a hotel. Things like having enough carts to accommodate people checking in, enough towels/washcloths, hooks to hang your towels, either cold or hot rooms… all these things occurred in just one night stay. My sisters room didn’t have a remote to her TV.. the front desk folks are rude, rude to us and argued with another guest over a bottle of water!? Like a screaming match over just a bottle of water… go elsewhere-for what you pay to stay here-you’ll be irritated and disappointed and dissatisfied.

My sisters room didn’t have a remote to her TV.. the front desk folks are rude, rude to us and argued with another guest over a bottle of water!? Like a screaming match over just a bottle of water… go elsewhere-for what you pay to stay here-you’ll be irritated and disappointed and dissatisfied.

Great staff, great breakfast workers and food. Comfort Inn should invest a couple bucks in the building. It wouldn't take much to give it a little love!! Your PEOPLE are wonderful, courteous, helpful, provided everything we wanted during our stay!!!

This was the 3rd time staying here. It's close to the airport and so convenient if you have a flight to catch early in the morning or anytime if you're from out of town. My room was clean, beds were very comfortable. I cannot comment on breakfast because I had an early flight to catch. The staff at check in and check out were very nice, friendly and helpful.

We had a good stay. Just one night. It was quiet, clean, and this location was nice and close to Presque Isle. The tub and the bathroom sink were a bit slow in draining. Breakfast was good.

Bathroom is too small for 4 people. Fan didn’t work. Breakfast facilities cannot handle large crowd. Kids had to sit on floor to eat. Ran out of coffee cups for goodness sake… ok but. It great stay. Pool is nice!

While breakfast was overcrowded and underwhelming, it was included and nice to have. We did not get to check out the pool but it looks nice. Family get away to waldameer and it was a perfect location. Beds were soft and the room was clean. We will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel for a quick two day family trip, close to the Presque Isle which was our main concern, friendly staff and clean hotel. Breakfast a little disappointing, limited yogurts, lots of meat options but no fruit, and eggs offered only one of the days we stayed. Also no plates available one morning so breakfast in a bowl!

Overall a good stay. The hot breakfast options weren’t great in my opinion (there was grits and sausage), but they also had bagels and waffles you could toast/make. I requested a room with 1 king bed, but upon arrival I was informed there were no king bed rooms left & asked if I would be okay with 2 doubles (which was fine with me). The direct view outside my room was the pool & unless I had the AC running, I could hear the kids outside (so I kept it on as I was trying to study). The light switch for the bathroom is on the wall outside of the bathroom, interestingly. Beds were comfy, room looked and smelled clean, there was a nice desk with a lamp and chair that I sat at to study.

The breakfast drinks machine was broken and the vending machine options were sparse. The elevator seemed out of service sporadically while I was there. The hotel needs some loving. It needs to be updated. The room looked old and worn. The room door was propped open, like housekeeping might come back. The bathroom floor was very dirty ( luckily the front desk person came up to clean it, while telling us that housekeeping just wants to done by 2pm. Front desk associates look very unprofessional, apparently there is no uniform required. The lobby carpet was horrible and looked like it had waves in them, which is a safety issue. It's a shame as the location of this hotel is perfect if you want to go to Presque Isle.
