Friendly staff, good breakfast options, plenty of parking

This property was so clean you smelled the 'clean' when you walked in. The employees were turning over rooms but also cleaning as they went. You could tell the hotel was on a regular deep cleaning schedule - there wasn't a drop of dust anywhere and the ongoing Maintenace of this hotel was very evident. The staff were AMAZING, friendly, smiling helpful - I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff are. The rooms and beds are comfortable the gym was clean (although the lowest weight was 20lbs). The breakfast was Holiday Inn usual, lots of options, a clean area and fresh. It was a wonderful experience - if every we are visiting in the area again we will stay at this location again!!

The hotel is fairly new and in good condition. One side faces the freeway, our room was on that side and it was noisy. I called the hotel and asked about the hot tub 2 days before our stay, the front desk said everything was working. We got to the hot tub and the jets did not work. I asked the front desk and she said it had been broken for 2 weeks. I would not have booked if the person i called had been honest.

We stay here a few times a year. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I wish the jets worked on the hot tub, but the pool is still fun for the kids.

Super nice, from check in to check out. Staff are nice and friendly, accommodating as well with an early check in upon request :D The lobby smells so clean, too. The rooms are soooo nice! Their little store came in handy, their breakfast was delicious, and their pool/spa was the best, wish we could’ve stayed another night. Their fitness center wasn’t the best, but! I did see them fixing it up when I was checking out.

The hotel was fine, it was clean, rooms are nice. Was pretty disappointing to find out the pool was closed during check in. Nothing was posted online about it, and it was literally the only reason we got a room for a night.

This property was dirty everywhere. Including the sheets. Stains on the floor and shower had a soap ring around it. Just awful! Do not recommend this Holiday Inn. If I had not had 3 hours sleep the night before and driven 8 hours I would have found another place to stay. It was awful!

Nice and clean

Nice hotel. Right off the 15 which is nice. Taco Bell and Carl’s Jr are around the corner along with a gas station. Only complaint, was the bathrooms weren’t the cleanest. They weren’t BAD! But like the walls by the sink and the tile baseboard things had stuff dripped all over them. They looked disgusting. But other than that everything was clean and the staff were friendly. I stayed with another adult and 3 kids ages 4, 18mo, and 1yo. I’d stay again for the price and the convenience.

I dont typically write bad reviews, but I was very disappointed with my stay here. Despite the issues that I will explain, I want to make it clear that the staff that I interacted with were very kind. The biggest issues that we faced, that the hotel had control over, were in the room. We stayed in room 232, and once we entered the room there was a bit of an odd smell immediately. This smell came from an AC unit that had soaked the carpet in the surrounding area. About two feet out from the wall and the whole length of the AC unit was just soaked carpet. This was the biggest issue. Beyond this, there were cobb webs in some obvious places, what looked to be a urine stain on the base tile next to the toilet, a bathroom door that not only wouldnt lock but wouldnt latch at all, and a loose toilet seat. Again, I dont typically leave bad reviews or complain at all, and most of these things I wouldnt normally care about or even mention. The soaked floor was just unacceptable, and it led to everything else being more frustrating. It simply felt like there has been a severe lack of care, at least for room 232. I take some responsibility for my frustration, as i didnt complain or raise my concerns to any of the staff while i was there. Again, despite the frustrations, the staffs' kindness and customer service skills were awesome. Just a facility issue.

I didn’t like that the tv was on a wall that you couldn’t watch from the bed. The curtain was black and filthy and they didn’t match they were different sizes one size was too small. The bathroom window looked like it had mold in it.

Drapes did not close all the way. Dirty and worn room. Stains, poor handyman work. On the freeway and windows seem to be single pain (loud) Won't return.

It was so comfortable it was in a quiet area, a little bit industrial, but not far from places that I can shop to. It was so clean. I had no worries and the beds look like they were new. The whole building actually looks new. It was a great place. I would come and stay here again.

Nice room updates. Had to leave before complimentary breakfast so great that there was a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Room a bit noisy at times as hotel next to freeway.

An excellent, clean, convenient option if you're staying in the area. The room was very large and comfortable during my stay. I loved the bath products and makeup remover wipes too!

Doing a good job with the ongoing remodel, but the AC didn't work in the 1st room. They moved me to another room, where the AC worked intermittently. The room was barely cool enough to sleep comfortably. They need to replace the AC units as they remodel.

Wasn't exactly wonderful as the rating implied. The room was small.

Service was very poor. Room was not ready for check in. No linens for the fold out bed and when we asked for some we were given a blanket. Staff was very unwelcoming and some were downright rude (rolling their eyes even asked for bedding). Housekeeping wax very long.

Came back to room Friday night. Nothing done in room. Had to go back down to desk to get clean towels and coffee . Was told by lady she "thinks" they clean every other day

Very rude staff

Paul at the front desk is legendary. I've got well over 1000 nights in various locations and Paul ranks in the top three of all staff members I've encountered in my travels. Professional, courteous and bent over backwards to help me any way he could. Because of Paul I will be going out of my way from now on to book a stay at HIE. Breakfasts were above average, score a solid 'B'. Noise form the hwy can be distracting for some but we like the drone of it.

Front desk clerk named Karo was incredibly rude and clearly had no idea how to do his job. It took him a while to come out from the back room to check me in. He did not even greet me. He charged my card twice. At 11:30pm, as I was asleep, I woke up to another clerk tried entering my room because Karo did not put it in the system that I was staying there, despite being charged TWICE. Tyler (the nice clerk) was very apologetic. I was so terrified from someone trying to enter my room in the middle of the night that I left and need a refund for both charges.

The location was very hard to find. If you did not have GPS I am not sure I would have found it. My overall experience was excellent. Great Manager and very nice staff!

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Only complaint is it’s near the interstate highway and trucks and cars are driving by all night. It may be better if the room were on the east side of the hotel and further away from the highway. I would recommend the hotel, but just be warned if you are a light sleeper.

We stayed here while attending a festival. 10 min drive to our destination. Nice and comfortable. Everyone was very nice as we came and went.

Nice and hot breakfast every day... biscuits and gravy killed me.... my favorite!!!! Yummy breakfast..... coffee all day long!

Our room was right next to the freeway which I didn't realize and so I had to keep the TV on to drown out the freeway noise. The bed was slightly uncomfortable. But the thing I did not like was they said they served breakfast til 9:30 am. If you say you're serving breakfast til 9:30 am, then serve breakfast til 9:30 am. We went down at 9 am with several other families and nearly everything was gone and the girl only restocked yogurt which expired back in June. Nothing there to make pancakes, it was all put away by 9 am. I was a little peeved given the fact I paid way more for my room than it was worth. A little breakfast would've gone a long way. I don't know if the girl was just lazy and didn't want to put out more, but young children don't wake up at 6:30 am on a saturday morning to eat breakfast.

As clean and bright for this location -- Room clean and bed was conformable -- found that the breakfast presentation was well done on the First Morning 7:00 am - like the breakfast options - Second Morning breakfast 7:30 am hot breakfast options had been out too long and picked over and not replenished with getting low. Third Morning Breakfast 7:45 am hot breakfast was not longer available and had not been replenished. Ask if there were refills coming. They said that there was. We left after waiting 25 minutes and went to local restaurant. Very disappointed with the breakfast staff for not keeping up with the refilling of hot food ideas as they were consumed!! That person was not well trained to stay on top of things as they are consumed!! FMG
