Quality Inn Petersburg Fort Lee Area

Room carpets and furniture are old and musty. Okay for weary traveler. The outdoor swimming pool had green algae at bottom and need cleaning and bleach. Breakfast was average with bread and waffles.

A weird motel. Keys were hard to use. No towels in the room.

First thing you see in front of property is a dirty pool. I thought it was close. Ask the front desk, if pool was close, answer it is open. Got a doble bed room, traveling with family. Got a room very dirty, shower, even the tower had stains or dirt. I request a new room. Lady in front desk not happy at all. Got a new room it was it was better, but not by much. Had to stay there, no money back!

Stear clear of this place and the restaurant across the parking lot. We tried to contact the hotel to request an early check-in. This was not possible because there phone was down for whatever reason. We booked through even hotels.com could not reach them by phone. Since there was a major delay in reaching out to them our ealy check in was not possible The main entrance area looked modern and clean. No issues checking in. We went straight to the restaurant associated with the hotel across the parking lot to eat before we went to our room. Big mistake! We ordered soup and salad in addition to our main entrée. 20 to 25 minites after our order out came everything at once. Soup was super thick and not much flavor at all. Our salad was in a bowl the same size as the soup. If we even attempted to try to cut it into bite size pieces ii woudl have oveflowed and made a mess. When i asked the waitresse why everything came out at once, she too was confused and offered to put our entrées back under the warmer while we ate our soup and salad instead having oir entrées remade and allowing us to take our time and attempt to enjoy the soup and salad. Then presumably the owner came out and tried to make excuses as to why the service was sub-par. They didnt even offer us a discount or any means of trying to make the situation right. When we got to our hotel room it smeeled like urine. Our microwave did not work. There wasa phone in our room with no cord. None of the vending machines worked!

Toilet was stopped up & I had to plunge & take the bar of soap out that was stopping it up. Yuk… NO ice machine on second floor working. In the rain, I had to go find ice. The light plugs were not plugged in or not working.

Electric door lock was a royal pain, especially at midnight. Had to return to office to have ac/heat unit turned on. Other than that unremarkable. Price was right for what it was. Despite the stupid door I would stay there again.

Price was reasonable. The location was great. WIFI was extremely slow. I had to load my email 3 times before it finally loaded. There was a hole in the wall where the doorknob damaged the wall. The floor was not very clean. The vanity faucet flopped around because it was not fastened to the countertop. The shower was extremely slow with low water pressure, so it took longer to shower.

Pool had lots of sand or grit at the bottom of it and chemicals were nasty on my hair. Tub wouldn't drain. Reported it. I think they drained it when we were at dinner. My morning shower I was ankle deep in water that wouldn't drain again. Had to charge my phone on a chair by the door as there weren't any additional plugs bedside or by the table, etc. Could have been better, but could have been a lot worse.

Arrived and was given two keys that didn’t work. Walked back to the office. Desk clerk told me we had to do something with the handle when tapping the lock. After 5 minutes of struggling with it, my wife figured out how to open the door. Walked in and the heat wouldn’t turn on. Walked back to the office. Replacement desk clerk flipped a switch and said everything was fine. Apparently, the first clerk wasn’t aware of the switch. Next morning, showed up for our free breakfast. Door was locked. Desk clerk said he had to step away so he had to “lock down” the building “for awhile.” So, no free breakfast.

We were quite disappointed with the quality of the room and the complimentary breakfast. The refrigerator and freezer worked well, and the beds were somewhat comfortable. However, there was a strange odor in the room, the bathtub was stained with rust or hard water stains, we were provided only 2 bath towels for 3 people in a room advertised for 4 people. At least one of the bath towels was either dirty of visibly stained. The most concerning was the desk lamp which flickered constantly when turned off. We had to unplug it. The luggage rack was so rusty we feared staining our luggage by using it. We did not use the coffee maker or ice bucket, nor did we discover where the ice machine was located. We were excited about the complimentary breakfast until we went to partake of it. There were a dozen mini muffins, sesame and poppy seed bagels, Cheerios and another kind of cold cereal, one package of instant oatmeal, bread and a toaster, coffee, decaf, and hot water, as well as a juice dispenser that said it was apple juice, but seemed to dispense orange juice. There was no cold water for drinking. The beat part of the breakfast was a mini waffle maker. However, it did not cook the waffles all the way through, leaving them doughy in the middle. This made them split in half instead of coming out of the waffle maker, and leaving them mostly inedible. Also, the bottle of maple flavored syrup was empty, leaving sugar free syrup as the only available option. The coffee was drinkable.

Lots of mold and the shower was gross. Vents were filled with dirt. The molding along the floor had water damage

The first room stunk. The second room was disgusting, dirty, dusty, fridge had disgusting brown moldy looking electrical part inside, was leaking water-the room was nauseating, I had to leave & pay triple the price to get a room at a decent hotel-I will be disputing this charge with my credit card-I will never book through you again.

We found Blood all over the lamps bulb and wall after arriving in town and checking in at midnight so wasn’t able to address it . I would have thought house keeping would have noticed this . That was a first for me finding all that.

The bathroom was filthy. There was hair and scum and dirt everywhere. Marsha tried her best by offering us another room (that was worse than the first. We ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves after Marsha gave us supplies and she discounted the room by $25. After driving all day, we were looking forward to resting in a nice clean room.

It was disgusting. There was mold in my room and the shower head was rusted never mind the fact that the shower itself was so dirty. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like months, the sheets were covered in holes from burn marks. The man staying in the room next to me made pervertive remarks to me and my cousin about him coming into our room and as we struggled to get into our room at night due to the key card not working he proceeded to ask us if we were scared. Not a safe or clean place . I was not able to stay there and I was not refunded.

The rooms were dirty, the rooms were just not well kept. I had to wipe down the room and clean the floor myself. No one seem to know why the rooms are in such terrible conditions.I took pictures..

My mistake stayed 2 nights.The first room offered was filthy. I was then offered a different room. okay so you pay for what you get. The next day I step out for a while come back in and see what is an actual spider one that looked just like the Halloween types but this WAS real.

The room was musty and air conditioner smelled. There was pait peeling off the bathroom ceiling and looks like they painted over mold. The furniture was old and in disrepair, however the bed was clean and after 15 hrs on the road and exhausted it was the only choice there was.

This looks like an older hotel that is holding on by its fingertips. When you enter the room the light switch doesn't work. They had an extension cord that plugged a lamp, microwave, refrigerator and TV that was held off the floor by the lamp. Tub was painted and it was peeling as well as the ceiling. There appeared to be mold on the ceiling. We went to see if they had coffee in the breakfast area and 4 of the sconce lights flickered. My husband doesn't usually take pictures but he took a bunch so he could report this hotel if he gets a chance. We expected so much more from choice hotels.

Get what you pay for. Towels and bedding were clean. Carpets not so much. Read comments about bed bugs which had me paranoid but didnt have any issues and bed was comfortable.

The room is close to a bar where there was music for a good part of the night preventing us from sleeping moreover the air conditioning in the neighboring room was defective and made an infernal noise all night avoid this place if you want to have a good night

It is in need of repair rm 210 had a tub That was peeling. Needless to say we did not use it. The toilet had expoxy around it and it was loose. The heater air conditioner was not working properly and top was away from the wall. Shower head looked terrible! We have stayed a few times but have not seen any improvement. .

This is an older hotel/motel that is undergoing some improvements, which are needed. Very small bathroom (door rubbed against the toilet in order to close) and carpeting that needs to be replaced. I didn't realize that rooms opened to the outside rather than an interior hall. Breakfast was entirely carb based; there was no protein.

Electrical issues, open outlets and extension cords attached to open outlets

First I asked for a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. After I changed rooms the heat didn't work or the hair dryer. The Frig made a awful noise. I called front desk twice no answer. I didn't go to the front desk because it was after midnight. The next day at check-out I told them about the heat and was told the heat to the rooms has to turned on at the front desk. The two that I was give should never be rented out until corrections are made. I will NEVER go back to this hotel and I will go online to give this Hotel and Hotels.com a bad rating. Thank you.

The place needs some upkeep and modernization. Carpet was in pretty poor condition as was tub/shower

Other guests spent much of the night outside having conversations and drinking. Walls are not very good at buffering out noise.

Trash all over the place, poor service my bathroom light was out for almost 3 whole days of the trip after asking multiple times. They also need to arrange the families not around adults who are partying during the weekend.

The property was in disrepair...the photos on expedia were not accurate at all. Housekeeping was awful. They didnt knock before coming in to the room. Just used the keycard and barged in. Very un satisfied with this stay..

This property has a very rude front desk girl who is daughter of owner and does not respect business or respect humans she was super rude super unhelpful and asked us to leave after over booking on her part! Then when she realized she was wrong because the other employee cleared it up she never apologized never helped me with room nothing.

Overall the hotel was ok. We had to get our key cards reprogrammed every day. On the first morning I tried their make your own waffles and they tasted like spoiled milk. I did not try them again. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The room was clean. Way better than expected. The only issue we had was with the door. The key card worked but the door was jammed. Staff was very prompt in helping with this situation and even offered us another room. That was not needed since we were staying for one night. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Good option for traveleing. Staff is friendly, room quiet and clean, and breakfast better than average. Thanks!

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in had some age issues but was clean and comfortable. Restaurants and convenience stations are located nearby. Over-all a good stay.

Convenient location just off the highway with lots of restaurants close by

It was a nice quiet spot to stop and sleep while on route to the south.

I was on the side of the building next to the bar-restaurant (even numbered rooms). They have live music every night and it doesn't end until 11:00 pm. It was like the band was right outside my door!! And the place was filthy. You could barely see outside from the motel lobby the windows were so filthy.

The property is convenient to shopping and dining, and feels safe

Not a good area. Seemed like a a spot where people are living. Dogs barking. Car alarms going off. Trash everywhere.

It was quiet and safe.

The Rooms where old and falling apart. Our bath tub had holes in it. We went for Breakfast at 7:30 am and all the coffee and food was gone. When we ask the girl at the desk she told us she was busy and would have to wait. We will never stay here again.

The room could have used a good vacuum. Breakfast was very minimal.

It’s a place for a quick stay, very outdated, breakfast was not worth getting, coffee wasn’t good.

Bed was not plush, but not uncomfortable. Room was clean, but not updated- tears in the carpet, bathroom very dated, but functional. Staff extremely friendly. Went to breakfast at 8:30 and there were two bagels and some plain toast. No eggs or sausage, despite the picture. Ran out of coffee and no one came to refill. Probably could have made waffles, but that is not what I was going for. No yogurt. Overall- clean, friendly, quiet, dated but functional, and don't plan to have breakfast there. Maybe people eating earlier found more food?

Loud and constant foot traffic on either side of our room. Breakfast was waffles and Indian coffee. Location was convenient.
