M Hotel

Clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful staff

20 minutes to drive from the airport, and 30 minutes to walk to the city center, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. There is a bus stop a block from the hotel, and you can be in the center in 10 minutes, but weather permitting, I would walk through the wonderful Tivoli Park I arrived late and the check-in was friendly and quick. The room was of a good size, clean, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small-ish, and the shower's slanted floor made it a bit slippery. The breakfast had a good selection of both cold and warm food, and quite a bit of pastries, as well.

This hotel could be a four star hotel. It has a big infrastructure but the stay was disappointing. The door lock was patched up but didn’t work. Light switch was floppy and kept breaking. As I walked in, the bedsheet wasn’t clean. There was this ugly dustbin right in front of the door. I got my room cleaned every day and yet every day they didn’t clean at all. Would only replace the towels and make the bed. Didn’t even change the sheets. No cleaning the floor whatsoever. Reception closes at midnight. We checked in around 11.30pm. Went back to get slippers (dint have it in the room), there was no one to help. Seems like the staff and management can easily up the guest experience but don’t want to. Won’t be staying here again.

If it were half price, this hotel would be 4/5 stars for me. At this price I'm giving it 2/5. Very expensive compared to its location. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The rooms were not very soundproof. The aircondition was LOUD. The staff at breakfast didn't show interest in hospitality, didn't even say goodmorning. Only upside is I could cancel the last few nights and get my money back. Way overpriced!
