Novotel Kraków Centrum

Bra hotell som ligger centralt, man går till slottet på 10 minuter. Bra utrymme framför hotellet när man beställer hämtning\lämning av taxi\Uber, finns även parkeringsgarage om man har hyrbil. Enda negativa är att poolen (inkl bubbelpoolen) var för kalla och ACn på rummet fungerade dåligt. Skulle absolut tänka mig bo här igen..

Jag är väldigt nöjd med hotellets, bemötande, frukost och personalen. Det som drar ner betyget någon gång är swimming-poolen. Dessvärre genomfördes en renovering där när jag besökte badet vilket gjorde sänkte upplevelsen. Jag upplevde också att bubbelpoolen inte hade en varm temperatur. I övrigt är jag väldigt nöjd med hotellet och skulle rekommendera att bo där. Läget är också ett pluspoäng. Nära till gamla stan och busshållplats och spårvagn nära för att enkelt och smidigt resa till flygplats eller utflykt till wieliczka saltgrotta

Excellent all round. Just to note on this occasion - likely due to the renovations, the jacuzzi was cold which was a bit disappointing, but certainly didn't distract from a great stay :)

Excellent SPA and swimming pool

Bra, fräscht hotel som passar bra för de flesta, framförallt barnfamiljer. Tillhör väl de lite "dyrare" priserna i bar/resturang m.m och poolen är ofta ockuperad hela dagarna av barn. Så vill man ha en lugn upplevelse i ett poolområde är det fel hotell för dig. Gymmet är inte stort, men det mest nödvändiga finns för att klara av träningen. Bemötandet var bra och vänligt samt hjälpsamt. I det stora hela ett bra hotell som rekommemderas!

Clean and well maintained. Loved the playground in the lobby area. Perfect for prople with kids. Pool was great. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Reception staff were excellent. The spa was not as i expected, the pool was small and jacuzzi luke warm, no sauna as under renovation and gym busy and small. I was woken up to building work, drilling and banging. Breakfast was ok, poor quality hot food. Location was great

Hotel was very clean. Restaurant staff friendly. Reception staff could have been more friendly. Swimming pool temperature was very cold as was the temperature of the pool area. Rooms were very clean however, were far too hot, no option to lower temperature. Was given fan which helped. Could not open window due to street noise.

Greit hotell. Valgte dette hotellet da det hadde basseng og jacuzzi, og ikke var veldig dyrt. Men området med basseng og jacuzzi var iskaldt. Prøvde bassenget, det var alt for kaldt, og jacuzzien, som bør ha god temperatur, var også iskald. Så det ble en kort og kald fornøyelse. Heldigvis var det varmtvann i dusjen på rommet! Vi droppet frokosten på hotellet, da vi så flere skrev at denne var dårlig, gikk heller ut å spiste frokost på café. Veldig koselig. Ellers var det et greit hotell, store rom, store og gode senger. Men hadde valgt et hotell som ligger enda nærmere sentrum av gamlebyen om jeg skulle valgt på nytt.

Cleanliness in the rooms was perfect. Civil works around the hotel was a major negative factor.

The hotel staff are the only “stars” this hotel deserves. However, I asked three times to have my wool socks returned, which I left after the first night when I changed rooms, and I did not get them back during the next three days of my stay, nor did I receive any feedback on whether they had been found. I asked the housekeeping staff on the floor twice and the reception twice. Apart from this incident, I have no complaints about their work. The location is also excellent. However, the hotel rooms and the spa area are definitely of a low, 3-star standard. The wall-mounted hair dryer is small and blows only very hot air with virtually no airflow, and it has a button that must be held down for the air to work. It was a real ordeal for me because I have long hair. When I asked for a regular hair dryer, I was given a broken one wrapped in tape, which kept stopping working, with the tape constantly coming off, etc. Another issue was the shower, with mold on the grout and the ceiling, peeling veneer on the side of the cabinet, a leaky window through which everything can be heard. A torn desk mat, dirty carpets and sofa. I am convinced—actually certain—that the cups and glasses in the rooms are not taken to be properly sterilized, but are washed by hand in the room bathrooms. Disgusting. The final straw was the bed. The mattress itself was quite comfortable, but on top of it there was some kind of “pad,” basically a rag that rolls up and shifts. I didn’t realize this the first night

The room was uncomfortably hot and the air con didn’t work properly. Roadworks outside started at 6am and were noisy. House keeping came at 2:30 pm one day when we were in and then at 9:30 am the next as we were about to leave. We told them we were leaving in 5 minutes and they didn’t return so no housekeeping/clean cups etc in our 3 night stay. We booked it for the pool but this was very deep and the smaller shallow area only suitable for younger children. They had made up a travel cot for our almost 6 year old and we had to ask for sheets and a towel for child. Travel cot stayed in the room the whole time. We would not return.

The hotel was ok even though we found an empty bear bottle on the floor under the bed.

Vi reiste med barn på 13 og 10 år som måtte dele en sovesofa på 120 cm og dobbeldyne. Rommet vårt ble vasket 3 av 4 dager. Det er lytt på hotellet.

Mycket obekväm bäddsoffa. I övrigt bra hotell med bra läge.

Geräumige Zimmer, gut isoliert in super gute Lage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt fussläufig zu erreichen. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit einer großen Auswahl für jeden Geschmack und besonders positiv sind die Wasserspender mit gutem Trinkwasser auf jeder Etage. Auch das Abendessen, was wir an einem Abend im Hotel gegessen haben war sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet. Vom Flughafen fährt alle 20 min ein Bus fast bis ans Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es auf jedem Fall weiter!

Small rooms, but a decent hotel and clean. Only problem was, which was a huge problem when it’s a warm 90° day and evening was that the air conditioning was broken both days/nights making it very hard for me my wife and my young children to sleep. Staff tried resetting the unit at midnight then brooght me a fan because it was unmanageable in the room. I opened the window for 10 minutes to see if it would help and then next thing I see if 30 nats and bugs flying above the lamp because there are no screens. I popped the door open and placed the fan in the hallway at 2am to try and get some of the slightly cooler air from the hallway into the bedroom. I asked for a new room the second night to which they agreed but by the time we can back from our tour to Zakopane it was late and the room stayed the same for the second night. When we got back to the room after breakfast on the last day before checkout they finally had a mechanic in my room in the ceiling trying to fix the compressor. Good for the next people but unfortunately too late for us. Not trying to bad mouth the hotel the staff tried but it was definitely a rough and hot 2 night stay.

Stora sängar o ok storkek på rummet. Lite konstig lukt på rummen.... Vi hade 2 rum och i det ena rummet fungerade inte AC så det var riktigt jobbigt när man är där mitt i sommaren. Vi stannade i 4 nätter och sa till om problemet flera gånger eftersom det inte gick att vara på rummet o svårt att kunna sova där. Dom skickade dit tekniker, men dom klarade inte av att laga det. Fick inget nytt rum o erbjöds ingen kompensation. Väldigt dåligt! Frukostbuffen - mycket att välja mellan, men inte så snabba på att fylla på när det tog slut. Och inga bacon, det saknade vi. Poolen (inomhus) var trevlig. Åkte på utflykt en dag o skulle bli hämtade innan frukost började serveras, då ordnade dom med frukost påsar till oss. Mycket bra! Vägarbete precis utanför så taxi fick köra en stor omväg när man blev hämtad/lämnad. Men annars stördes vi inte av vägarbetet, inget man hörde in på rummen. Hotellet låg bra till, inte så långt att gå tills man är mitt i centrum. Så helt ok hotell men stort minus för AC som dom inte kunde lösa.

Major construction on the road in front of the hotel. Taxis and Ubers couldn’t pick up or drop off in front of the hotel. Rooms were very dark. Not enough light. Bathroom needs renovations - looks very used.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Beds were so comfy and the breakfast was amazing with so much choice. The alcohol free mulled wine in the reception area was an added bonus.

People working in the hotel were extremely friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended it.

The staff at Novotel hotel were exceptional. They were helpful with planning a few trips as well as providing all the local tips . Breakfast and dinner were delicious and we loved how clean and modern the hotel was . Only downside was all the construction around the area .

Couldn’t fault the staff or the property. First class service from the staff and its in an ideal location for central krakow. Excellent hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite which are the two main things we look for. As for the facilities, they were adequate. The children enjoyed the pool and games room. I had an injury on our second day of the holiday and staff were quick to respond and extremely helpful in getting me to A&E and even asked over the coming days if i was ok.

Hell week! It starts with the minibar being far too hot and not cooling down either food or medicine as it should be able to. It keeps around 15 degrees Celsius, which resulted in spoiled medicine and spoiled fresh produce. The second night our son gets big burns and big blisters in the sauna and the hotel that calls itself 4a stars has no first aid kit at all. The staff is completely paralyzed, half of them don't speak English and are just so rude. We complain to 5-6 different staff before one of them promises to contact us again. She doesn't. We then contact hotel.com, who offers to help us change hotels if we find something similar. but we don't. Hotel.com then calls the hotel and asks if we can get breakfast for the remaining days as a band-aid. We would get that! the same night at 11:30 p.m. there is a burning smell in our room and we have to change, says the hotel. we have to pack our things in total darkness as they disconnected the power in our old room. pack everything in total darkness with only the light from the mobile phone as help and we don't get to bed until 05:00 which means we can't bear to get up and eat the breakfast hotel.com offered us as compensation. instead they gave us a check worth 2 dinners at the hotel's own prices! So two of the four of us got to watch while the others ate. the cleaning lady lied one day and didn't clean our room because she lied and said we put up a note that we didn't want the room cleaned. The reception did nothing about it

We were there for two days. Unfortunately, our 2-year-old daughter's diapers were not removed from the waste bin during room cleaning. We asked the receptionist (Mr. Kuba!). Reaction: shrug of his shoulders, no apology, room number was not noted at all. This went on for exactly two days. So we disposed of the trash can ourselves and are just speechless.

Nice Hotel located near the river and Wawel Castle. Short walk to the old town.

There were construction around the hotel which made it difficult to move around Maybe once it’s over the surrounding area will improve

We stayed here from 11th -15th April 2023. The hotel and staff was amazing and could not do enough for us. The hotel is a 10-15min scenic walk into the main square. We would likely recommend!

Great hotel, great location within walking distance to most things. Huge roadworks going on around hotel at moment. So a little inconvenient but would still stay for the location. Great views of castle if lucky enough to get a river side room.

Needed to get around the construction right in front of the property. Otherwise, everything was good.

Jeg og min datter hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold på 2 netter. Utrolig bra beliggenhet. Vi kunne gå til alt. Kjempegod frokost. Store og gode rom med gode senger. Elsker at de har rituals-produkter på badet. Svømmebassenget var helt greit. Kommer gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet.

Hotellet er greit og rommene praktisk og rent. Frokostsalen er underdimensjonert ift antall gjester. Det var kaos. Vanskelig å få bord, maten ble revet bort og det tok tid å fylle på. Ikke et sted for en rolig start på dagen. Utvalget og maten er bra. Alt i alt et greit hotell, Men litt upersonlig og fabrikkpreget.

Frokost var veldig bra. Alt var perfekt utenom at det var litt for varmt på rommet.

Great Location! Very close to Wawel Castle and the Old Town. Delicious breakfast with many options of cold cuts/cheese/sausage, eggs, salads, even waffle and pancakes machines, nalesniki, fresh fruit, cakes etc

Convenient location to the centre and it was a picturesque location by the river. Friendly staff and a nice sized family room with a river view. The AC wasn’t easy to work with and we couldn’t get the room temperature low enough for comfort. The breakfast wasn’t great value for money as it was a bit chaotic in terms of people traffic and food items weren’t quickly replenished…but they were the only real criticisms

Gute Lage, Altstadt innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichbar, Frühstück sehr lecker, viel Auswahl. Nur die Koordination zwischen Registration Desk, wo wir für das Frühstück für 6 Tage bezahlt haben, und Frühstück Check-in hat nicht funktioniert. Jeden Morgen standen wir nicht auf der Liste und es müsste telefoniert werden um zu überprüfen, ob wir bezahlt haben. Das war ärgerlich, sonst hat alles gepasst.
