Our first room was very small and very noisy at night. We asked to be moved and they readily changed us to a larger quieter room. The hotel is in a great location and staff are amazing. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great and we had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was perfect.

The hotel was very nice, the front desk was helpful and the doorman was exceptional. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is great for walking around the city. If you have a car, there is a parking garage right across the street. We were only there for one night and had a very nice experience.

Location is excellent. Parking garage right across street for $10euro a day with the hotel stamp. Only downside is if you intend to leave before 8 am, the BnB option is a waste. They don't serve breakfast early and if you want takeaway, you need to order the continental the night before and eat it in the lobby or your car and it's pretty bad. Hotel is lovely and the staff are great. and the location can't be beat.

Only stayed one night and it was coming off a red eye flight. Check in is at 3PM, we arrived at 6AM. The staff called us early when the room was ready in case we wanted to turn in early. That was nice. I didn’t, but it was thoughtful. No complaint on staff. Hotel room was clean but hasn’t seen renovations in a while. Could probably just use a little sprucing up but my main concern is cleanliness; I was good with the room. It’s in the heart of the city and that’s why you’re there. Parking garage is right across the street. Very tight in there as is everything in Ireland but surprisingly tight. Parking was super expensive. If you leave and come back, you get nailed each time. I think I paid about $60 in parking for one night. Area around; it’s a city but they take pride in it- clean, felt safe. Saw only one homeless guy begging for money.

Had an excellent stay at Brooks Hotel. Great room, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Conveniently located for walking. Live music at the bar was enjoyable. Roger at the bar was pleasant and attentive, even when overly busy. Would stay again if returning to Dublin.

The location is great- convenient for walking (or short taxi) to Trinity college, TempleBar, ChristChurch, Guinness, etc. The parking deck is right across the street but is expensive and the hotel only pays part of the cost. The room was comfortable, the staff pleasant.

Location couldn’t be better! Short walking distance to all Dublin highlights. Room very nice but small, as to be expected in many European hotel rooms. Did have to pay a nightly fee for parking, which we didn’t have to do even at other big-city hotels in Ireland.

Property is in a great location and presents well. Disappointed in hair products which made my hair super greasy and linen which smelled like it had not been changed for a very long time. Spoke to front desk who said would speak to management but heard nothing back. A clean smelling bed is fairly important for a week long stay. Had a great trip. Disappointed in the response from staff and of course the sleeping facility. Thank goodness for windows that open.

Had a really lovely stay. Good check-in experience, very easy and welcoming. Room was spotless, great bed and nice amenities including bath robes and slippers. Bathroom was not large but clean and modern. I struggled with the air conditioning so the room felt a bit stuffy and opening the window wasn't an option street noise

We notified the hotel that our air conditioning was not working after our 1st evening. They said they would charge our room upon our return. We changed rooms only to find out the air conditioning was not working. They said they didn’t have another room until the next day so they gave us a fan. They finally moved us to another floor with working air conditioner. Because the hotel is in the heart of the city, it is too noisy to open a window. We received our take away breakfast for an early tour that consisted of a packaged Pastry not a fresh pastry, juice box and a piece of fruit - what a let down for a 4 star hotel. Since We paid for an executive king room with air conditioning and did not receive it until our 3rd night, I can only give the hotel a 3 star rating as there was no compensation or upgrade given for the convenience.

Buyer beware - rooms are minuscule. It was out last of 10 nights across Ireland and we had stellar hotel and castle experiences throughout this amazing country. We booked a contemporary king room that looked much larger than it is in reality. I suspect the photo is of an executive king room which was the only size larger than the contemporary king. The initial room we were placed in looked over an alley with pallets, trash bins and AC units | motors. We could not fit our bodies in the room and open the luggage at the same time. It was ridiculous. Smallest room I’ve ever been in across the EU, APAC and US. And, don’t even consider the possibility of getting a balcony room. They only have 2 in the hotel. The manager, named Sincor (I’m certain I am misspelling) moved us across the hall so we didn’t have trash and AC units to look at - and it had a small bump out window that gave room for a suitcase. He gave us 2 drinks at the bar (1 for each of us) and took $35.78 off the the $460 room.

The Hotel staff were ALL wonderful. My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately we picked up a 24 hour stomach bug and were bed ridden for approximately 30 hours. Luckily the hotel had room service and a hotel phone in the room. They brought us water, ginger ale & bitters. They even offered to go to the chemist if we needed something. They were able to cancel a tour we had booked. Great location! Shopping, food & sights. Everyone, especially John the night manager and Marvin the concierge were wonderful and nice.

I’ve stayed at Brooks Hotel in the past and it is in a great location. Service wasn’t great this time which was a shame. I’d specifically reserved a twin room and this was confirmed again on check in but when we got to the room it was a double so had to return to reception and get this resolved. Whilst it was resolved it really shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I thought the room was quite tired and needs to be freshened up - the lack of power sockets was poor (there weren’t even any next to the beds) and really needs to be reviewed. The bar was nice and service was good and the man that took our bags to store for us when we arrived was great - I can’t remember his name but he’d worked there for over 20 years.

The overall experience was excellent. All staff from front of desk, housekeeping and restaurant were friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms have been renovated to a very high standard. Very clean and with all the little added luxuries included. The hotel is ideally located and is only a short walk to grafton street, yet it is quiet and relaxing. Will definitely return.

Great location, friendly concierge. Excellent check in/out process. Called taxis for us to get to and from places. Safe and fun neighborhood. A bit loud at night but to be expected if you stay in that part of town. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel. A lot of old meets new, but very nice all round. Rooms are nice, modern, and spacious. It is located with easy walking distance to numerous pubs, like O'Neills and the Temple Bar. A bit past O'Neills is Trinity University, and the Irish Whiskey Museum. Also in walking distance is a grocery store, and the area has numerous convenience stores if needed. The only complaint I had was that they states that the restaurant opens at 7:00 for breakfast, but our experience was it could be nearly 7:10. Not a big deal, but if you're trying to squeeze a whole bunch of things into your day, it could add some stress. Overall, a great hotel.

Brooks hotel is a fabulous location even with all the pub traffic walking around. Excellent food choices near by and at the hotel. The breakfast there was reasonably priced, fresh, and well prepared. Great shower, very comfortable bed, European size room that was as expected on size but very well planned out for outlets for the tech heavy travelers.
