We had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - in the midst of the medieval village and on the canal, overlooking cafes and cobblestone streets. The staff was helpful and attentive. Note: if parking a car at the hotel, you must call ahead to get instructions for gate access as the hotel is in an area restricted to foot traffic except for authorized vehicles, otherwise you must walk a distance to hotel.

Lovely, high end hotel right in the very heart of the old city. You will love the location, which makes for a very memorable trip. The room was remarkably quiet, cool, excellent sleeping. Slight sound of rushing water from the river was very pleasant. The spa was lovely, especially the hot tub overlooking the river. Less than 15 minute easy walk to the train station.

Rarely do i enjoy a property more. If you are driving be sure to have hotel send you the code to enter the pedestrian zone a week before your stay. Check out a map to see where entry is then it is seemless.

The location in the heart of Petite France couldn’t be better, walking distance to everything in the heart of Strasbourg. The room was excellent and very comfortable. We had a car, the hotel valet parking was easy.

This is a beautiful hotel near the heart of Strasbourg. The view from our room along the canal was from a postcard! We never ate at the hotel (the meals did look fantastic, although pricey) since there was so many lovely local restaurants within a 30 second to 5 minute walk. We did use the spa area (I love the steam room) and gym a couple times. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and surrounding area is very safe. If i had to nitpick for one improvement, the room got warm when we shut the windows (there can be a bit of noise a little late outside and early in the mornings) as the air-conditioning did not help much. Overall, this is a high end property that I definitely recommend.

The hotel is so luxurious, we used and enjoyed the spa and gym, the air conditioning was very efficient and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The rooms have excellent facilities and are modern but fit in well with the exterior.

We stay regularly at this hotel but one matter remains the same every time. Fitness room equipment are always in some extent broken or malfunctioning. This time cross-trainer worked in both visits few minutes before shutting down. Furthermore multifunctional weight device was partially broken. In every visit I mention these matters but there is limited or no progress in relation to these. This is rather unacceptable for five star hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great area. Only problem we had was getting to the hotel during the Christmas market...we spent 2 hours in traffic trying to get there and roads were blocked getting to the hotel. We almost cancelled our stay because we couldn't get to the property...until an employee of the hotel (Johan) came to save the day. He went above and beyond!! This hotel is so lucky to find such a dedicated and helpful employee. I have never experienced such an amazing service in all my years of travel.

Excellent location. Our view of the tannery and old Strassburg was amazing. We would have liked a reminder that we had to give a code to access the area to drive all the way to the hotel. My only other criticism of the hotel is that the hallways and stairs smelled very musty. Likely this is due to chronic moisture from the adjacent waterway and the age of this historic building. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was located in the perfect spot, right on the river, near restaurants and shops. The rooms seemed newly renovated and were very clean. Each night the bed was turned down and we got new towels. What can I saw about the staff other than, they were awesome and so accommodating! Would definitely stay there again!

The best element of this hotel was the location. I’d recommend this hotel based on that alone. The staff was pleasant and the room was nice. My one criticism was the poor quality of the bath towels. They were way below a five star hotel standard. Very worn and grayish not fluffy and bright white like you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The wash cloths need to be thrown out. Terrible!

Great hotel and location. As soon as we arrived, the staff were very kind and welcomed us. The room was spotless and comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect. In the heart of La Petite, France, you will find many good restaurants and cafés. If you are driving, I recommend getting the parking permit from the hotel; it's very convenient. We will come back for sure. Thank you to the staff for such fantastic service.

This hotel is all about location. If you are in Strasbourg for the nice views and good food, it's hard to find anything better as it is in the middle of Petite France. The service of the rooms are done late in the afternoon which is unusual for a five star hotel. For some reason at check out they wanted to charge for breakfast altough it was already included. After me questioning and some searching in the computer the reception assistant found out they had it wrong and I wasn't charged.

The room was spacious and airy, with a gorgeous view. It was quiet at night. We enjoyed the breakfast bar and in the evening would come back from dinner and sit outside along the river at the restaurant bar. It was magical. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Questo hotel ha superato le nostre aspettative sotto ogni punto di vista. La posizione è semplicemente strepitosa, nel cuore della Petite France. Molto tranquilla e silenziosa. La nostra camera era meravigliosa, su due piani, calda, letto comodo e un piccolo salottino con poltroncine e tavolino. Avevamo una macchina del caffè e ogni sera ci venivano lasciate due tisane per il bollitore. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato due set con infradito e accappatoio. Ogni giorno ci venivano lasciate due bottiglie d'acqua sul comodino. A pochi passi i deliziosi negozietti natalizi, ottimi ristoranti tipici, la Grand Rue col passeggio per lo shopping e, non distante, a 10 minuti a piedi, la maestosa cattedrale. Siamo stati davvero bene, ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal personale, nonostante siano stati sempre estremamente discreti. Aggiungo che non hanno esistato ad esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. La città ci è piaciuta moltissimo e torneremo sicuramente, probabilmente nel periodo dei mercatini di Natale, e di certo soggiorneremo in questo hotel.

We were upgraded to a larger room but were disappointed that it did not have a shower only a hand held one over the bath. The room was however comfortable and had a great view and we appreciated the gift of biscuits but would have liked milk with the room coffee. There did not appear to be a room telephone to request this so we did not bother. Staff at reception were very friendly and breakfast was very good. Special mention goes to the waiter on the bar who made us the best off menu cocktails we have ever had! The hotel is in a fabulous location but it’s not easy to get in and out of the city in a car when the Christmas market is on. Whilst the hotel assisted with this for our arrival by sending us a pre signed form as proof of our booking (as we had booked a parking space) they provided little assistance leaving the city and this turned out to be a bit of a headache. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The room was big and the bed was comfortable, but the furniture was very low to the ground and difficult for tall or old people. The air conditioning also did not work properly, and our room was warmer than we prefer.The bath shower in our room was truly inadequate and quite difficult to use. Additionally, the lobby of the hotel smelled like a sewer during our entire stay. It smelled quite bad. The location of the hotel is great and gives easy access to La Petite France. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very clean and well sized. The hotel is pretty and in a great location. The problem was the noise - could hear everything from outside your window as well as the movement upstairs from the other hotel guest. The noise from outside made it difficult for a light sleeper to get rest.

This is a great hotel with great staff. Get a balcony room. So romantic. The restaurant is gourmet and on site. Good breakfast and wonderful valet service. Follow the instructions and you can drive right to the hotel.

Enjoyable stay at a very well located hotel. The reception staff were always helpful although it was disappointing the restaurant was closed during our stay. L'hôtel conditionne la délivrance de factures avec TVA au fait d'avoir réservé en direct sur leur site, ce qui est illégal et pose question sur leur respect des obligations fiscales. Plus aucune réponse à nos messages par la suite. Par ailleurs, le petit-déjeuner ne tient pas la comparaison par rapport à l'autre grand 5* de Strasbourg à quelques centaines de mètres où j'avais mes habitudes : faible choix, salle minuscule, pourtant au tarif habituel. Expérience non concluante donc. Dommage, car le bâtiment est très sympa.

This is a very nice property conveniently located in the Petite France section of Strasbourg. Easy 15 minute walk to/from the central train station. There are many good dining and shopping options within a short walking distance. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the bell staff was particularly helpful in handling and storing our excess luggage while we were away for a few days, and for arranging Taxi services when needed. All in all, it was a great place to stay for our visit to Strasbourg.

This beautiful, clean and well located hotel is a wonderful opportunity for visiting Strasbourg. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Fantastic views! Close to shopping and restaurants. We ate at the hotel restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. Best meal of the trip!

I loved this hotel. Historic, quaint, luxurious; staff were friendly and happy to help. The rooms were huge and quiet. Bed were narrow but comfortable. Breakfast buffet was pricey but worth it. Would definitely stay here again.
