The first impression has been positive, I choose a Room with corner kitchen and washing machine. The room has been fully refurbished not like the other rooms that are exactly the same of old Hayatt. Then proplems starts popping up one ofter the other... with 288 Aud the bottles of water are complementary only the first day (Additional one, 500ml 2$), unfortunately in the Gymn (where AC is not working all the time and there is no control) the water dispenser was out of service as reported immediately, like the escalator. The pool area is not in the best shape, like the sunbeds, and the NOT Tennis court. The Room cleaning was not operating on Sunday, The washing machine in the room doesent come with free detergent (like 99%of the hotel in Australia) especially hotels that doesnt charge you 288AUD/Night. I didn't try the breakfast bar/dely, but looked to me that neither my colleagues and other guest tried it. The Ac In the room at 20° or at 28° gives the same reault. Staff has been kind and helpfull but this will not change the final result. There are margins to improve, maybe in a future I'll try again, probably when the commercial area behind the hotel will implement shops and activity

Check-in was not great, the staff couldn't have been bothered to assist after a 48-hour flight. The room was given with a bath and I had to ask for a room with a shower which was only assisted 24 hours after check-in. Again no effort was offered on the evening of check-in. Every single day after I returned, housekeeping tried to obtain entrance to my luggage locked with the combination. I tested this every day and every single day for two weeks someone tried to gain access to my personal luggage. No concierge info or offer, ie. There is a convenience store right outside of your hotel and you did not bother to share this. Your restaurant is not properly operational. Not the stay I have been used to in the past. Parking for residents is extortionate! Unfortunately, I will be looking for an alternative hotel on my next visit.

Overall, an enjoyable stay: Decent value for money, comfy bed, and great location, plus gym, pool and sauna on site. Bathroom, hotel décor and general ambiance was a bit dated and it didn’t really FEEL like a 5-star hotel (especially when they wanted to charge $2 for extra bottles of water as opposed to it being complimentary) aside from the fancy fountain and chandelier in the lobby, but still a positive experience overall, close to public transport and day staff were friendly enough. Would recommend for anyone looking for a city stay if you can book at a reasonable rate :)

Wonderful staff, great hotel/self contained accom. The pool is by far the best Hotel pool I’ve ever used and the pool deck is awesome with heaps of lovely cabanas etc. Pool is very large, very deep .9m - 2.8m, great temperature, Chrystal clear, great for adults. Close to everything you need, bus stop out front, awesome place! Would have liked to be able to use my phone/ipad apps on the TV but the menu on the remote control was locked and only had access to a preselected menu.

Rooms & beds great. Spacious & quiet. Shower had great pressure. The only negatives were the lobby area & entries/exits. I had a pram & 2 young children. To access the street I had to walk down the driveway which isn’t really pedestrian safe. I also tried to access the IGA downstairs but the escalators weren’t working & no lift to get there. It’s not a long walk to go around but not sure what people with wheelchairs are supposed to do? The street entrance on Adelaide terrace was also locked stating not currently in use, so again had to walk up the driveway.

Presentation was good. There were a few times where tea/sugar/milk was not replaced so we brought our own. Two times the bathroom wasn't cleaned and the shower gel was empty.

Stayed 1 night for the Wallabies vs All blacks game. Friendly staff and a lovely hotel. Spacious and clean room with all you need for a short stay. The only downside to the room was the loud plumbing works which comes with an older building. We wanted to have a drink and food at the bar before the game but unfortunately that didn't happen, there was only 1 man on the bar serving and he also had to run food out so it took too long with guests also waiting to be served infront of us.

The rooms have no breeze .. very stuffy and hot and even with a.c on for hours .. still wake up sweating and it was 12 °c last night. Was cooler and more refreshing to go outside.

This hotel has a strict policy of deducting a deposit but credit card only now I have to wait days and days for a refund they refuse cash as they have cut back on staff I believe this policy of credit card only on check in should be disclosed up front so I get to chose not have to deal with this after it’s to late when I have already booked and paid And the staff couldn’t care less

This motel was in easy walking distance to Optus Oval and we were able to catch the bus from nearby locations. The staff were super helpful and we enjoyed the lovely pool and facilities. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and cosy, staff were friendly and nice, check in was fast however access to the hotel was hard to find. was told parkrinking was cheaper then it was and the bond took alot time to return to my bank after being told it would take a day. If i had to stsy here again not so sure.

The hotel is nice, and the room had everything you need. It’s in a bigger complex with mostly vacant shop spaces, but there is an iGA which is handy. Thai restaurant across the road was good, more restaurants further up the road. Restaurant in hotel had a nice breakfast - you could fo buffet or order something from the menu. It wasn’t open for dinner. The hotel is on a main bus route do very easy public transport and free within the cbd.

Location was central to everything I felt and buses right outside to travel around the city. Room very clean and comfy and quiet with a small balcony for me to sit outside and watch the world go by while having a cup.of tea. Great customer service from checking in to checking out and in between. Grocery store IGA just down the escalator. And a short walk.to the beautiful Swan River aka Derbarl Yerrigan.

Stayed for 3 nights and this place exceeded my expectations: I really enjoyed it, good location with plenty of food and drink on the doorstep, free bus to the City or a pleasant 20 minute walk, also the river is literally behind the hotel. Great location!

The room was great , however there were no bars open at all and the restaurant was not open for the evening, this was not evident when booking we only found this out when we were checking in , also i asked about parking and I was charged $30 but I as not told about this , I only checked on my bank to see the charges

The hot breakfast items were Luke warm at best. Plus a few more staff to assist with breakfast service wouldn’t hurt as the person making coffees, was also trying to welcome guests & clean tables & restock food so there was a queue at times to just enter breakfast or await for more food! The bottom sheet on the king size bed in our room didn’t fit so you ended up with it coming off during the night, leaving you sleeping on the mattress protector. Our shower had a leak so there was a lot of water on the floor between bathtub & toilet.

Rooms and service were great. We were disappointed the coffee shop/ casual dining area closed early, around 2.00pm on a Sunday, and there was no inhouse dining available. Perhaps hotel could provide a map or guide with nearby restaurants.
