What a fantastic hotel and amazing staff. The whole team could not have beem mote helpful. They went out of their way to ensure me and mom eho is disabled had the best experience with them. They arranged a table for me and mom at the sky bar for tet, at no extra cost, as they could see she would have difficulty standing for long periods of time. The massage was the best i have ever had. And kylie went out of her way to text every day to check everything with our stay was as we wanted it. The best team i have encounted on my travels in vietnam. They all deserve a pat on the back for hiw fantastic they all are.

De var positive og prøvde å imøtekomme ønsker bår vi ba om noe. Vi fikk byttet rom da vi sjekket inn, og det var ingen problem at vi flrst inspiserte ledige rom før vi bestemte oss. This property screamed old world elegance and charm. The décor was very old Hollywood glamor. It had a classy mess about it. It just made you feel rich. The people were warm. The rooftop bar provided a ridiculously beautiful view, and the beds were super comfortable.

Check in was really fast having stayed a couple of times and that the staff already has my details. Room though a bit small but comfortable with all the required necessities. Sound-proof of the windows could be better . Breakfast at the roof terrace was great considering the price of the room. Tried the hotel spa for the 1st time. Staff Emma was very helpful in arranging the type of treatments I wanted . Overall a good boutique hotel to stay in the heart of Old Quarter. Staff really helpful and friendly.

The San Grand Hotel is located in a perfect location in the Old Quarter, close to dining, shopping, bars and tons of street food! The hotel is very welcoming and a quiet oasis after the busy streets of Hanoi. The staff are extremely helpful and a special shout-out to Ruby and her team for being so kind and helpful with everything from booking our HaLong Bay trip, airport taxi, visas and actually walking to show us the nearest atm machine:) The hotel has a fabulous buffet breakfast along with an afternoon tea all included in your room rate. The rooftop bar is a great place to unwind during happy hour to take in the beautiful view over the lake. We had a balcony room, which offered a great view while taking in the sights and sounds of the city. It was a beautiful room, but didn’t have a shower, only a bathtub. All other room types had a shower though:) We would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Thanks everyone!!

Great personal touch. Perfect spot for street food and walking around. We loved our room and balcony, and the staff set us up with a wonderful tour. The breakfast was amazing and it was great to have that rooftop bar to chill at night. Very friendly place!

こちらで3泊お世話になりました。 初めてのベトナム、ハノイでの滞在で朝食付きはもちろん、アフタヌーンティーまで含まれていると聞いて、暑い時間はホテルでゆっくり過ごしました。10階のラウンジは朝食とアフタヌーンティーで利用しましたが、ホアンキエム湖が見えてとても眺めが良かったです。 毎日ホテルへ戻ってくると笑顔で迎えていただき、また、帰りの飛行機のオンラインチェックインができずに困っていたところをサポートしていただきました。とても素敵なサービスをしていただきました。 ホアンキエム湖近くということもあり、各所のアクセスも良く、快適な滞在となりました😊 ありがとうございました。

The room was small but workable, the arm chair in our room could have done with a clean. Room needs a renovation a little shabby, minibar was broken which was replaced the next day. Breakfast was poor, not much of a choice. Staff are wonderful very helpful and eger to help, hotel is clean.

附近很熱鬧很多商店可逛，離還劍湖也很近，早餐也豐富好吃 最美中不足的是房間內看到兩三次小蟑螂出沒，還有洗澡時的水忽冷忽熱，希望能改善整潔及基本設施！

We stayed overnight and the rooms were not that clean. We feedback to the staff on the cleanliness issue and when returned later for a 2 night stay, the conditions of the rooms were much better. Overall a good stay. The staff were great and helpful. They quickly made improvements which we appreciated.

Staff are very hospitable & helpful, especially Julie, who offers many good suggestions and immediate help. Spectacular lakeview on 9th floor, but a bit noisy under the rooftop bar. The bathroom needs more cleaning, small flies from the sink and shower.

The hotel rooms were smaller than expected, no place to store luggage and no drawers to put away your clothes. The sink drainage was not good did not drain well, and shower pressure is poor water sometimes warm or extremely hot continuously. However on the positive note the morning buffet breakfast was good and staff is very friendly and pleasant. Overall the area was quite convenient and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Although overall I gave it an average rating I would still recommend this hotel.

Nice view from the breakfast and sky bar. The bed and beddings are excellent. The service is good. Here come the negatives. The room is a lot smaller than advertised. Can’t barely do personal things in front of the mirror/sink without the door keeps jamming at your back. There is no sitting area as advertised either. The bathtub is nice however there is no shower head on the wall. Basically you have to stand inside the bathtub, one hand holding the shower head and one hand doing your scrubbing - not comfortable at all.

This place is so central. It's in the heart of everything and close to many attractions from walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff is truly what made my stay even more special. Anna is incredibly helpful and was the resident 'concierge'. She made my Mum and my stay hard to say goodbye but if I ever returned to Hanoi, I will make sure to book Lucien (previously San Grand). Julia who is a Trainee is also amazing. The Bell boys are courteous and friendly. Always greeting with a smile.

Great hotel and staffs were so nice. From the first floor at the reception and the rooftop restaurant, every staff was very supportive and gave so much love and help to the guests. Especially Ruby at the reception is amazing! She helped me get around in Vietnam during my stay, even after I checked out! If ever going back to Hanoi, I will definitely stay at this hotel to meet this great receptionist and concierge to know Hanoi more.

The staff have been exceptional. Kylie assisted us with our tours and transport. Susan assisted us with a medical issue and not only took us to the Pharmacy but also helped with the translation. All the staff have been great from the door to the roof top bar. Breakfast was included and was not only a lovely dining environment but also had a great view. The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The entire hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. Great location and great value.

The hotel is very welcoming and a quiet oasis after the busy streets of Hanoi. I was a salesman for 35 years and stayed in many hotels. I rate this hotel as one of best I have stayed in. The staff were amazing. I had a disagreement with a cab driver and Mike solved it quickly and scolded the driver for try to take advantage of me. I was so grateful. Emma, helped me with directions to the museum and was so kind. I can’t say enough good about the San Grande Hotel.

Great stay at this lovely hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and kind. Great beds and excellent cleaning. The sky bar is truly amazing with a perfect view of the Hoan Kiem lake. The breakfast is so lovely, and is perfect serviced by the lovely Ms. Amy and her team. They are all extremely kind and helpful and always do a little extra for you, to enjoy your breakfast.
