The room was large but could use some updated furniture. The beds were not very comfy. Very minimal furniture to such a large room. Outlets didn’t all work which was a pain. The tv was also a pain bc it went in and out. The pool was supposed to be open from 8-8 but it wasn’t open at the times listed, which was frustrating. The valley was a pain bc you had to wait 20 mins when you wanted the car.

The hotel upgraded my stay to a suite with my own private Terrace! I was happily surprised. I also always enjoy the nice included breakfast and the rooftop pool. I like President Villa and will definitely come back for a 3rd time and more.

Excellent property, clean and comfortable bed and rooms. The pool wasn't available due to the rain/storms. The breakfast free was very nice!! I love the free drink at cocktail hour. Over all very clean and I will return! Perfect area and I love the additional garden area in the back of the hotel. Friendly staff and Front Desk. My room was not ready until 2pm but the good thing is, the front desk hold your luggage in a secure area and you can change and go to the beach or just walk around town until your room is ready. Great Everything if you ask me.

Our reservation was for the President Villa section of the hotel (an annex to the main President hotel). Hi I love how everytging is walkable the room was spacious and i stayed at a villa which we love but the pool was super dirty ..Plus expedia tell you onw thing and qhen you get there there is a 116 fee for the breakfast.not good

Great location and that is it!! Rooms are over priced for the size, they are the size of a bedroom, no fridge and the ice machine in hotel didn't work. We had a roach in our room 1st night, killed it and told front desk. She offered to come clean our room in which i declined telling her it was probably just random but I'd give a deep clean tomorrow when we leave and then we saw another!! Instantly threw all of our food and drinks away. It felt so dirty, could barely sleep. I would never stay again

We specifically paid for a villa penthouse room based off the pictures online which showed it looking down on a palm-lined street. The room we got was in the center of the building with the outside deck sounded by all hotels looking into the privacy’ area. We did not use it once. Not worth the money. Secondly, the elevator to access the pool was broken and no signage on how to get to it other than exploring the emergency exit stairwells for almost an hour. The valet was pricey and you have to pay upfront and not reliable to get your car quickly. Finally, breakfast was fine.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends. Night reception on 11/6 was rude to several people, including us. Morning reception ladies were great. Dining area is too crowded and you need someone to coordinate it. Too many rude guests just taking up space or cutting in lines, shouting across the area, etc. your method of tracking who paid takes too long. Why give tickets if they need to be double checked. Room was ok but our room phone didn’t work and was not fixed after reporting it. Hot water was intermittent. Need to include your “destination fees” on the website price. It’s a scam that everyone is doing and it’s not ethical. It’s not fun to arrive and be charged an additional $150 dollars.

The standard rooms were very small and did not have storage facility for clothes. The door to the toilet/shower leaves a wide gap so anyone coming into the room can see right into there. The king bed rooms are much larger and have better facilities and worth the upgrade.

Nice and clean hotel, staff are kind and inviting. Only takeaway was the fact that walls are a tad thin so if you have Neanderthals above you like we did, you will most certainly hear them.. otherwise it was a great place in the heart of the action in south beach.

Loved it here! I was there for MMW and it was a dream. I have always wanted to stay near Colins and this was so convenient and the complimentary breakfast was beyond delicious! We made sure to be up early for it! They were so nice and accommodating, the desk manager was delightful and had restaurant suggestions that helped us out too. The room was perfect in size for us to enjoy after the shows. Definitely will be back, especially for those scrambled eggs! Thank you for having us!

We have always stayed here during our trips to Miami. The hotel is always clean, staff is great. Our stay this time was marred by a very belligerent man who came onto the front patio from a hotel across the street. This man who was obviously off medication and dangerous stood on the patio yelling obscenities, declaring all whites to be uncaring bigots and offering to "tear them apart" Really a bad thing to have going on and a horrible first impression. I and other guests complained several times to the manager with absolutely no results. The night manager was especially useless during this situation. We'll be rethinking our decision to stay here again.

Would never stay there again. Very expensive for what we got. Air conditioner didn't work even after they sent someone to the room to fix it. Very hot there. They didn't give us what we needed for the parking lot and we spent a lot of wasted time trying to straighten it out, even with the help of the parking lot attendant. It took till the next day to fix. The staff said they would take care of things and then did nothing. Room was very stark with Ikea type furniture. Nice tv though. No one to help with the luggage when we checked in and out. Only one chair in the room and it wobbled. Shower leaked out of the doors. Lots of construction going on around the hotel so that's what our views were. the welcome drink was a nice touch and breakfast was typical of mid level hotel buffet food.

Although we didn't take advantage of it enough the hotel served breakfast every morning. Front desk staff awesome and very accommodating. A few times we had minor issues in our room and front desk staff would have maintenance up to our room in a matter of minutes. Minor drawback. A lot of hotel staff seemed not to know how to speak english well but front desk would let maintenance know the exact problem we were having and when they would arrive to our room we didnt need to talk that much because front desk already gave them the run down. I think hotel is in the best section of south beach. Beach 1 block away and walgreens across the street.

Although we booked a Premium room with a balcony and two double beds for two Adults and two Teenager and have received the confirmation that we will get the room booked, we were informed while check-in that the property would be overbooked and they would accomodate us in a double bedded room, which should have a single bed and a rollaway bed. We decides to look into the room befoee ww accept this option and this was the best idea we had. The room had just only one double bes and a rollaway bed only and no space for a fourth person as well as no balcony. But the Front desk employer insisted that this was the only available room and suggested to refer to his management, who has already left for home and would be back the next day. No phone number to get in contact and no other Support offered. Instead he mentioned to charge penalties if we should cancel the room. He actes now as he didn‘t know that we were four people, which was discussed former. It was ridiculous and contrasictor how he argued, although he promised former the room would be the same room we booked. It was definitely not! Although the support of Expedia tried for 30 minutes to call the Front desk for clarification, no body took up. To talk to the support by the cell phone also declined. This seems to be a criminal kind to put the client off, after having received the payment in full in advance, and to rent the same room to another person and charge twice for that night. Overall an excellent value. The location couldn't have been better, just a block and a half from the beach. They provide free beach towels and have a friendly front desk and bar staff who are generally accommodating. The bed could have been more comfortable, and it felt like the a/c was blowing in my face all night, but the room was surprisingly quiet and it had everything you could need. For the price, I would definitely book here again.

Building with rooms was worn down and smelled strongly of ceaning products and perfume, but the room was very clean, renovated, and comfortable. Breakfast was included (resort fee) and very good. Location is amazing. I would definitely recommend it to friends :)

Everything was great until we wanted to take a shower before we checked out in the morning. We had cold water. I called the front desk and they told me to just leave it running for a while because I must be the first person up. This was at 7:15am. He said if that didn't work to call back and they would send maintenance when they arrived for the day, which is after we checked out. So we took cold showers. Then the breakfast was pretty gross. The scrambled eggs were very runny and the bacon was RAW. The toast and bagels were very lightly toasted and served cold with ice cold butter.

It is a nice hotel, the beach has no connection with the hotel and the hotel charges beach services fee which is not relevant in any way, they just give you some towels thats all. The sun loungers are 20$ each and also additional 20$ for each umbrella. There is very basic breakfast, eggs, bacon, bagels or toasts, sone cornflakes.

The hotel provides rather good price/quality ratio at South Beach. Easy to walk everywhere and many restaurants nearby as well as the Art Deco district. They have 2 bottles of free water and the usual stuff at the room though no coffee making facilities. Breakfast room was extremely crowded with the cold weather. Also the food was of low quality but mayby national guests are happy with it. For most Europeans it was not good and very unhealthy.
