Great property on the beach. Beautiful pool and grounds. The room was appointed well and cozy and upscale. I would definitely stay again. There were limited food options for breakfast but the bar seemed well visited during the evening. The music at the pool plays all night. There is a fan just outside the patio door for the room. Unless the fan is off it is really loud making the balcony unusable.

Monet at check-in was great!!! We’ve stayed here before and really enjoyed everything about this hotel - location on island, beachfront, comfort and amenities!!! Best bike riding island ever!!! Bikes rentals are included here!!! I hate giving away “best’ Evers (more people flock here - the island/hotel) but this is one of the best of the best!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Best hotel on the island for families. There is an awesome splash pad for kids, rooms were great (especially suite), breakfast had tons of options and tasted great, and resort fee included free bike rental and shuttles around whole island. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our stay at Marriott Jekyll Island was absolutely amazing. We stayed during the off-season, which made the pricing more approachable, but even knowing it can be pricier during peak season—I can confidently say the cost is fully justified. The breakfast was phenomenal, with an excellent selection and quality that exceeded expectations. The Starbucks in the lobby quickly became a frequent stop for us, and the lobby restaurant served top-notch food as well—everything we tried was fantastic. We stayed on the bottom floor with an oceanfront balcony, and it could not have been more perfect. The views, the sound of the ocean, and the peaceful atmosphere made the entire stay incredibly restful. The hotel itself was quiet, calm, and relaxing, exactly what we were hoping for. The kitchen area was a huge plus—fully equipped with hotel-provided pots and pans and perfectly suited for our travel needs. The living room space was very comfortable and well laid out. The only downside worth mentioning is that the pull-out couch was not comfortable at all. After the first night, our son opted to sleep directly on the couch instead, which worked better for him. Outside amenities were excellent—plenty of outdoor games, fire pits, easy beach access, and a private picnic table area near the sand dunes, which was such a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were amazing, especially with the bridge across the middle—it really adds to the experience. All in all, this was an exceptional stay.

The bad:Our room need repair badly, there was a circular patch that was falling off the wall which was right next to the electrical box which my child was very interested in, the kitchen did not come with a broom/dustpan which was needed for cleaning, rug was coming apart from the wall in several places in the bedroom, toilet paper was HORRIBLE so be sure to bring your own also paper towels the same, and the trash can in the kitchen is tiny which is bad considering they only clean every other day and that tiny 6/8 gallon gets filled up quick when you cook! Also they had issues with the terminal so took them 20 minutes to get checked in. Internet did have a few issues connecting the 2nd day we were there but was fine after that.housekeeping only leaves 2 towels so be prepared to ask for a 3rd, and check your ice bucket as ours was cracked, we learned when he tried to get ice and it leaked all over the counter The Good: the room came with pots/pans, silverware, plates, cups, and cooking utensils. The outside of the property was very nice with cornhole, the pool, lots of sitting areas both inside and out. The boardwalk was nice walking to the ocean everyday with showers right at the pool. Full breakfast was definitely a perk of Residence in : bagels, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, milk and yogurt. Overall the outside property and staff made up for the room issues. However we won’t be staying there again.

Oh wow is this a great place! Amazing location right on the beach. Beautiful sunrise. Hotel is modern, bed super comfy. Service was great. Bikes to use. Pool and gym felt like it was as high end resort. A few spots could be a little cleaner like the fire pit furniture and the bar bathroom. Overall this is a super place to stay for a mellow beach getaway.

Room was comfortable, but it appeared they did not quite finish cleaning. There was a carpet spot cleaner spray container left next to a spot on the floor. The tile hallway and bathroom area had not been mopped and had sticky shoe prints. The showerhead was covered in black and green that I can only assume was mold and calcium build up. The bathroom did not have a fan, so it stayed very humid after showers. We have stayed at this located for the past 3 years this time of year for a cheer competition and this was the first year the cleanliness has come into question. Next year, I will probably try somewhere new on the island to stay.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was dirty a majority of the time, there was a large leak in the common area of the lobby that got worse, for a 4 year old hotel it was more unkept than I would think.

Was here two nights with family. Property is really nice. Pool area with hot tub is great and lovely beach. Rooms are run down and probably haven’t been deep cleaned in ages. Restaurant at the hotel is under staffed so service is terrible and unfriendly. Not worth the price per night.

Multiple live roaches found in room. Several “supposed” clean towels in the bathroom had hair on them. Gross. Stripped the sheets off the bed just to be sure they were clean. Appeared to be. But, who knows??

Housekeeping was a problem. We were told that our room would be refreshed every 2 days. That never happened. We went to the front desk several times on day three and were promised, still no housekeeping personnel showed up. Housekeeping showed up on day four and we were checking out the next day. That was totally ridiculous.

Checked in for a long weekend. Upon arrival noticed the carpet in the room was wet near the sliding glass door and air conditioner. Notified front desk and they attempted to clean the carpet. By the next morning, the room smelled extremely mildewy and just generally a terrible odor that would just about knock you back when we walked into the room. Attempted to change rooms by hotel was fully booked. So we had to pack up our stuff and go find ourselves another property to stay at. You would think at a minimum the hotel would at least comp the night. But instead, they charged us full freight plus the daily destination fee and we had to pack up all of our stuff and move to an another hotel about half mile down the beach. Terrible customer service philosophy.

The room was clean and spacious. The lobby was very comfortable and I loved all the lawn games and table games. Sad that it was too cold for the pool/beach but they looked lovely. Loved that we were able to check out bikes to ride around the island. The free breakfast was a nice touch but only basic breakfast offerings...but the food at the restaurant was fabulous. We went two different nights and were not disappointed. Overall, a great experience for a reasonable price. I'd come back again if I'm ever in the area.

We came here for a weekend getaway. It was so nice and quiet. We had a beautiful oceanfront room. I definitely will stay here again. Also, the beds slept wondwrful. Easy access to the beach and pool. Nice restaurants close by. A great place to getaway to for the week or few days.

First off, the staff is absolutely fantastic - from the front desk staff to the grounds keepers. All friendly, competent and efficient. The hotel is nice - clean, beautiful grounds, nice pool. But, the bed is hard, the very bright flashing light from the fire detector (every seven seconds) and the air conditioning cycling made for very long and restless nights. Also, our “ocean front” room was ocean “adjacent and we awkwardly looked at others on their balconies. As a result, not worth the >$300 per night price tag. We ended up cutting our vacation 3 days short.

Outside amenities were excellent—plenty of outdoor games, fire pits, easy beach access, and a private picnic table area near the sand dunes, which was such a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were amazing, especially with the bridge across the middle—it really adds to the experience. All in all, this was an exceptional stay.

It's a decent hotel, but there's a bunch of minor things that make it not great. Paid for a king bed, but received a queen. Paid for a ocean view, but got a pool view. The shower has a large metal drain that echoes through adjacent rooms. Also, the breakfast is not great. Additionally, there's extra daily fees.

Phenomenal property. This was me and my partner’s first trip to Jekyll Island and the staff and property made the trip that much better. Gabrielle was our server everyday and she provided wonderful suggestions on things to do in the area and great service. Cris and Lexi at the bar were absolutely a pleasure to have and not to mention the drinks were A1. Only thing I didn’t care for was the room has very little to no drawer space. This was difficult seeing that we stayed for 3 days. Also the pillows were extremely thin making it uncomfortable to sleep. Requested more but was told the hotel was out of spare pillows which I can understand given the holiday weekend. Overall definitely recommend staying at this property when visiting Jekyll Island

The property is pretty right on the beach, the beds are hard as rock and the pillows are completely flat. That alone would keep me from staying again, I’m sore all over and the terrible sleep plus a 5 hr drive home is just not going to cut it for me again. Food from the shore was fine, breakfast was non-existent, the one morning we tried to order something they were out of everything (this was very early in the morning also) so we had to leave the property for a decent breakfast. If you consider yourself a resort one should never have to leave the property.

Lobby us really large and nice, felt more "upscale" than the price suggested. The beachside room was the perfect concept and up to date with great TV, balcony furniture, etc. However, there were 3 problems related to cleanliness. There were a couple strands of long hair in the shower when we arrived. There were bandages stuck over the light on the smoke alarm. I get the need, because I hate the bright lights on those things, but it was filthy looking with the bandages. There was one tiny (gallon sized) trash can in the bathroom, no others in the room. Most places we stay have 2 or 3 that are small but still 3 times the size of the one here. After a two-night stay, we had bagged trash stacked around it. The evening staff at the desk were very pleasant. The morning guy was disinterested and kind of a professional looking grouch.

Arry, was the guest receptionist who gave a poor reception and impression of this property‼️ He was Smug, Arrogant and not helpful at all. When we went to our room which I believe Arry gave us the worst room because we went through Hotel.com and NOT the property directly, he penalized us. We requested and paid for a room with an ocean view and he gave us the absolute very end room whereby we had a sliver of an ocean view‼️ he stated that was the only room left when check-in was 4P and we arrived approximately 5P. I did not believe him, but there was nothing we could do except see the Manager on duty the following day since, according to Arry, the manager had left for the day. Once in the room, the bed looked unkempt with extremely wrinkled sheets instead of crisp and clean. The following day, I spoke with the Manager on duty who politely listened and gave us a $50 food voucher, however there is a $30 destination fee per day and we were there for three. They have a refresh room service policy that is not effective and when asked to have our linen changed, the house cleaning team made it clear that we placed them in an imposition since they left dirty linen and towels directly in front of our room door. This required me to relocate the dirty laundry down the hall. Unfortunately, no one removed that pile of dirty laundry for 6 hours. I spoke with the housekeeping supervisor, who stated there was a sick call. OUR STAY AND THEIR STAFF WAS DEPLORABLE‼️‼️‼️

Was here two nights with family. Property is really nice. Pool area with hot tub is great and lovely beach. Rooms are run down and probably haven’t been deep cleaned in ages. Restaurant at the hotel is under staffed so service is terrible and unfriendly. Not worth the price per night.

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. I was having a time getting my mothers wheel chair out of my car. Two employees came straight up to help me. The gentleman that check me in was beyond kind and helpful and as I checked out, the young lady behind the counter told me I was allowed to park out front so I could easily get my mother in the car. I can not express how much all this meant to me and my mom.

The only thing that i really did not like was that when you arrive they give you a paper stating things like when the pool is open etc. It also says under the breakfast section that if you're staying at the Courtyard by Marriott that you can see the starbucks counter during specified hours for ,"a delightful breakfast experience ". When we went to the starbucks counter and inquired ab breakfast, the girl showed us the little breakfast menu so we all got 1 thing from the menu. 4 selections. 2 of which were just breakfast sandwiches, 1 a breakfast burrito and scrambled eggs for my daughter. I don't recall seeing any pricing on the menu and the flyer should've been worded in a way to clarify that breakfast was available to be purchased at the starbucks counter because the way it was stated I had no idea that it was not free. It was $70. I paid for it & it tasted good.. but i do feel i was decieved into getting breakfast there. I just did not want to say nevermind once we ordered.. overall it was a good experience. The only other thing i really did not like was concerning the balcony with a beachview. While fine from the actual small balcony, the beach is not visible from any place inside the room and the beds are against a wall so that you have the least view of what's outside from in bed. My mother is in a wheelchair and I was hoping she could see something nice from the bed but no luck there. Was not bad though

This hotel is attractive and well located on the beach not too far from the central beach shopping and dining area. The room was nice, but small with very limited drawer space. The bathroom was very nice, the bed comfortable and the view very nice. The loud a/c units made sitting on the room balcony less enjoyable, but I’m not sure there is anything that could be done about that. The pool, pool bar, and weekend entertainment were very nice. The restaurant was just okay with very limited menu. Breakfast through the Starbucks stand was the same, if even more limited. The staff were friendly, but often overwhelmed. I understand the need to be “pet friendly”, but the many dogs, large and small, were often barking and howling in their rooms, and occasionally fighting in the common areas. The scent of dog was often present and we witnessed several pets relieving themselves indoors…with halfhearted efforts by owners to clean up afterward. Just wished there could have been a pet free floor.

Enjoyed the hotel, breakfast went from 6-10. Stayed for 3 days when ariving at 9:15 each day the kitchen staff stopped making food as if breakfast was over. This happened everyday. More hotel gurmest showing up to eat with limited food. They also stop stocking milk. I complained in which they had a discussion in the kitchen and began making more food and bringing out milk. Frustrating!!! Why each day do they stop making food 45 min early??

All in all it's a nice hotel. A few things were surprising for the price point. Bathroom could have been cleaner, toilet paper holder falling off wall. Smoke detector flashes like a strobe light every 10 seconds making it hard to sleep. No real breakfast, just a little Starbucks you have to buy from after paying almost 400 a night. Restaurant food not good and we had to order our food "to go" after being told there were no tables to seat us at, even though there were empty tables everywhere. On a good note the room was comfortable and the view was beautiful. We go to Jekyll and St. Simons often, but won't choose this hotel again I am afraid. the staff was so unfriendly , the room was dirty and had bugs on the wall, found a fish hook on the floor and had a toddler in the room, luckily i found it first toilet and kitchen sink had no runner water and the list goes on !

Hotel was right on the beach, great bar right by the pool, and my family enjoyed the complimentary bike rentals.

Ideal location for families because of convenience. Bright and beautiful spacious lobby was nice for watching a game. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the option to order from onsite restaurant was nice, we did this our first evening when we didn’t want to leave the hotel. Full size kitchens in the rooms are a game changer for families. We used our kitchen for easy lunches during breaks from the beach and pool. Sandy beach is right there and made it easy to enjoy with younger kids. We needed extra towels and they were sent to our room immediately.
