The Aurora Inn & Cottages

It’s a little off the beaten path but well worth the stay. Our room in the inn was beautiful. We enjoyed the common area. It was comfortable and impeccably decorated. The coffee bar was well stocked. We hope to stay for a few days next time to enjoy swimming in the sparkling pool and sitting in the sauna. We highly recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Aurora Inn. It was nice and quiet. Really excellent coffee bar and snack center. I loved the sauna and the pool was really clean. The room I stayed in was clean and well kept, with a really comfortable bed. There was a couple cool firepits, I liked that the firewood and firestarting materials were provided. I will definitely be staying here again.

The Aurora Inn and Cottages was by far the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in. Two of my grandmothers, my daughter, and myself stayed there for our trip to Storyland. We arrived at The Aurora to see the cutest little cottages. We stayed in The Crawford, which was right across from the pool and sauna. Both the pool and the sauna were clean and well maintained. They provided towels, life jackets, pool noodles, goggles, and even some dive toys to use at the pool for no extra charge. The shallow end was roped off from the deep end, making it easy to assess where children should stay if they’re not strong swimmers. The Crawford room itself was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, and well supplied. We had a main room with a king bed (which was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in), a nice TV, a pullout sofa bed, a coffee bar with a mini fridge, a microwave, ample seating, and beautiful decor. The private bedroom was beautifully decorated with a 4-post queen bed adorned with fake foliage. Closet space, a dresser, and a desk provided ample storage for everything we had with us. The two sleeping areas had charging hubs, which allowed plenty of space to charge all devices. The bathroom was clean, well stocked, and had amazing water pressure. They provided mini lotions and bar soaps, all of which contained goat milk to support sensitive skin. The staff kept in touch via text if needed, and helped with all questions promptly.

Owners are so nice and welcoming! I contacted them before arriving as I had things that needed refrigeration and they were quick to get back to me about the mini fridge In The common room. The living room was beautiful decorated for the Holidays and it is a charming older house with a beautiful fireplace. I stayed in one of the cabins and loved it! Very comfy bed and nice amenities, but my favorite feature was the little gas fireplace. In winter it was lovely!

It was a beautiful stay, perfect for couples or families (or friends). Adorable place with a nice pool, sauna and multiple fire pits as well as some supplied games

My family with two teenage boys had booked one of the cabin room with a queen bed and two bunk beds along with a kitchenette. There's a wonderful private patio set right outside of the door where we had our dinner under the stars. It is beautifully decorated and location behind trees away from the main street with some privacy. The common room area in the main building have chest set, games, guitar, and small breakfast/coffee bar as well as accessible necessities without needing to bother anyone. We had a really nice home away from home vacation during our two night stay and would definitely go back next time.

This property is just beautiful! I stayed in the main house on the top floor and it was very quiet the entire time I was there. My room was big and the jetted tub was amazing. The area around the property is lined with woods and they have hiking trails to access as well. Self check-in was very nice to have!

I loved the sauna...so cute. The Crawford building first floor level was so amazing. So much space and beautiful decor. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Common areas as well. Nice selection of coffee and grab-n-go breakfast items. Sauna was a great plus as well. Property owner was very friendly and made sure to let us know they were availble should we need anything-we didnt. But if we had, i would not have hesitated to reach out. Would definitely recommend to friends and family staying in the area.

Cute cabins, however the renovations which were done recently were not well done. The out side of the cabin had significant paint chipping, the front door would not open all the way due to hitting the ceiling of the out side porch, also the bathroom door would not close easily took alot of force.

First I want to comment on all the messages and emails sent to me. I must have received 40 of them. Very annoying. The last ones were direction on taking the trash out. At 100 bucks a night you should take care of that or did my mother send that message? No message to make sure we made our beds. lol Never saw anyone while there. No cleaning or towel replacement. The beds were comfortable but it was like getting out of a water bed they were so soft. One 2 prong outlet in the room w an ungrounded 3 plug 3 prong adapter. Hair dryer but no outlet in the bathroom. 7 minutes to get hot water to the room with both the shower and sink running. There were also soft spots in the floor outside the bathroom that felt like it was ready to give. Yes mom I brushed my teeth and took the trash out.

Room is adorable but bathroom & shower are tiny. Manageable but just barely. No hanging hooks or clothes storage at all! Wet winter ski clothes need to be hung. Drawers are not useful as an only option. I was displeased having to pile stuff on the floor. Immediately after arrival, the sink was clogged. Took hours to contact someone become they failed to advise of any onsite support staff. Jed turned out to be great, very professional & apologetic but dealing with a clogged sink for hours when only staying for one night is extremely frustrating. No cell service so I had to drive 10 miles out of the way to get service to send a message. Super disappointed as i had high expectations based on other reviews. Jed, the onsite innkeeper, was great though.

It was beautifully decorated, warm, cozy, clean, quiet and romantic. I love the kitchenette area with a couch & tv because my husband awakes much earlier than I do. Love the gas fireplace in the bedroom and easy check-in with excellent communication. We loved it! Thank you!

Overall pretty uncomfortable. Room and bathroom were very small for two people. Walls are super thin and conversations/noises carry very well, making it difficult to sleep well.

We had a nice time at your property. It was clean and quiet. The only complaint we had was that your wifi wasn’t working as we had young children that would have like to wind down after a long day out… and with the bad weather yesterday it was really hard in the room. Another thing was before we left we wanted to grab a coffee in the main building, but it was locked. Other then that our stay was nice.

Lovely room, comfy bed and linens. Cozy, nicely decorated sitting room and coffee bar area. Lots of choices for a quick breakfast. My only advice is, check out the bed pillows and request ones that work for you. They look beautiful on the stylishly made up bed, but were too huge and stiff for sleeping.

Cute place , no staff and got the room near the front door which was noisy and people in dining area was public and noisy. The place is very nicely decorated and clean very nice decor and furniture! Love the ambiance, will try get a room upstairs next time! Breakfast would have been nice

My bestie and I stayed here for 2 days before going on a cruise through Canada and we are so happy we found this little gem! We will 100% be back for our full on New England road trip next year with friends. The property is adorable and close enough to all the things but far enough away from all the city hub bub. The caretakers, Jed and Kimberly, were beyond amazing! It was hard leaving such a great little spot

Really enjoyed our stay. Property and grounds are beautiful. Caretakers Kim and Jed were a great couple and very responsive and friendly. They made sure we had wood for the fire pit. They also have a propane fire pit. Will definitely be staying again.

Great customer service - helpful and responsive. Clean and cozy room. If you are looking for a nice place to unplug from the busyness of everyday life, this is your place!

Overall a nice place. The road noise can be bad at times, and we didn't appreciate that the checkout time is 10, which is also the time the pool opens, so my wife couldn't get a last swim. Wished there was a human around to answer questions, we never saw the caretaker although there does seem to be one. Still one of the better places in the area based on what we saw driving around.

We actually booked all the rooms in the Inn. let me just say The caretakers Kim and her husband are fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure all was right with our stay. when she found out we were having a cake for 2 birthdays she offered decorations that she had. she was great with information on where to eat, things to do and great hiking trails. she is definitely an asset to the place, oh and the place was extremely comfortable as it was beautiful it has a very homie feel to it,even though the coffee area of the inn is open to the whole property it truly didn't bother us.I most defiantly will be returning.

Small and quiet nice weekend get away

This was an excellent stay for a night to make Conway area more accessible especially with 2 young kids. We will definitely stay there again and enjoy the place more next time

We stayed in the Bemis and it was perfect. Great space and so comfy. Everything was easily reachable around us for hikes and trips out. The staff are really responsive and the set up works really well. Loved it.
