We spent a week at Thatcher Mill House and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very cozy and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Tammy Hass, our host, was very friendly, and the Thatcher Mill house was just as lovely as she was. She certainly thought of everything to make our stay at the house pleasant. If you get a chance, take a walk in her garden across the road from the property behind her house. We enjoyed the garden and the city view. You can see the old Standard-Coosa Thatcher Mill property, which is currently being redeveloped for housing and retail. Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a vibrant city with a wealth of activities to enjoy. I loved Ruby Falls, Rock City, the zoo, and the aquarium; all were incredible. We had so much fun. Thanks, Tammy, for providing such a wonderful home for the week we were visiting there. It was so nice.

We loved, loved, loved this home. I was amazed and impressed by the host's remarkable use of the space; although this was a small house, it felt both spacious and homey. Great Christmas touches, too! Wonderful and interesting park/garden across the street, complete with guinea hens. This property--or another by this host, if I'm traveling with a larger group--will be my first choice when visiting Chattanooga. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

This is one of our top 3 VRBO rentals! The house was so well thought out and planned. The location was 20 minutes from everything want wanted to explore and see while visiting. The street parking was easy as it is a dead end road and the property owner let us use her driveway as a turnaround. We never got a chance to see her property gardens thanks to the heat! After a few days in the heat, we opted for pizza delivery from Chattanooga Pizza and Netflix one evening. The dogs loved the backyard area to sniff. We hope to make it back in fall or spring and this will be our choice in where to stay. 10/10 Ideal Rental for 2 adults and doggos!

If you're even considering booking this home, JUST DO IT! It was absolutely perfect in every way! Super clean, small but spacious, and decorated beautifully. And let's discuss the electric fireplace ~ an amazing luxury I didn't know I needed! Each night when we arrived 'home' I would turn on the fireplace, make myself a cup of tea, kick back in the recliner with the snuggly blanket and just breathe and relax. Nice, quiet neighborhood. My husband was lucky enough to meet our gracious hostess, Ms. Tammy. Unfortunately I was unavailable but heard she is just as lovely as her home! Thanks for an amazing getaway! We will be back!

This small mill house has been redone with excellent choices in decor. The space is well used and there is plenty of room for two. The only negative thing I have to say is the parking. It's on street and inconvenient. Excellent communication with host.

The house was so cute! We enjoyed our stay, my husband, myself and our fur baby. I thought the yard was fenced but it wasn't. When we arrived we got to meet Ms. Tammy. Very sweet lady! She allowed us to use the yard next door for our fur baby until her guest arrived. I really appreciated that! The house had everything we needed.

Myself and my two girls stayed at this amazing lil get-a-way during the scenic city softball showcase. We all 3 loved it and didn’t want to leave. My 19yr old said ‘even the baseboards are spotless’ Tammy is wonderful and kind. We can’t wait to go back.

We were in town for Ironman chatty and stayed at Tammy’s property . Several of the neighboring houses must’ve been rentals as well, because we had 2-3 houses next to us with athletes as well. Great location! The house is very cozy and very well appointed with essentials and all the comforts of home . Very clean ! Tammy is a great host

This is a great little home away from home if you are staying near Chattanooga. The location is convenient to area attractions and is in a quiet neighborhood. This place is incredible! It was my wife and I‘s first time getting to take the little one to the aquarium and all things Chattanooga and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The interior of this place is modern and up-to-date and is perfect for our size family and honestly would’ve worked even if we had another kiddo with us. It really feels like you’re able to come back to a house as opposed to just a hotel. We cooked here and were able to spend time at night winding down here. This place was exceptionally clean and Tammy was very responsive to all messages and very friendly when I got to speak with her. Do yourself a favor and book here if you’re even remotely considering it! My wife and I have stayed in five or six different vacation rentals in Chattanooga over the years and this one was hands-down the best experience we have had. My only hesitation in leaving this review is it’s going to add to this place as stellar reputation and may make it harder to book the next time we’re down there lol

The atmosphere was like home, very cozy. When I got home, I said to myself I didn't even miss home. How sad is that? We made the time we had count. I did however have a hard time with the TV. I am not tech savvy. I would love to send pictures, but I don't know how. I would suggest that you put Pukett's on your recommendations for a place to eat. I really had the time of my life. Thanks for everything.

Traveling to Chicago from Melbourne FL we did a two and a half day layover in ‘nooga’ staying at Thatcher Mill House and could not have been more pleased with this accommodation. Everything was as advertised, the location close to downtown, and the pride of ownership was evident in the attention to small details, cleanliness and ample provisions. Tammy is a warm and friendly host and I happily give this place my highest recommendation!

We had a delightful stay at this adorable property in Chattanooga. The exterior is exactly as charming as pictured and the interior is well-appointed. Truly a frictionless experience. Had a death in family and tried to cancel, but she would not so therefore we could not come did not receive an ounce of sympathy had only reserve the place six days prior. She stated she had a two week notice if you could not come. We had not booked it six days prior, so it was not good.

I spent a month in this cute mill house and grew very attached to it. As we had stayed there before for a few days, I knew it would be good and would have what I needed, and it sure did. I enjoyed meeting Tammy this time and communicating with her during my stay. She was very helpful and I even got a tour of her amazing master garden. This place is very clean, well stocked, nicely set up and able to accommodate dinner guests. There’s no question this will be my preferred place to stay during my/our visits to Chattanooga!

Traveling to Chicago from Melbourne FL we did a two and a half day layover in ‘nooga’ staying at Thatcher Mill House and could not have been more pleased with this accommodation. Everything was as advertised, the location close to downtown, and the pride of ownership was evident in the attention to small details, cleanliness and ample provisions. Tammy is a warm and friendly host and I happily give this place my highest recommendation!

Lovely home furnished beautifully! So comfortable. Convenient to the Aquarium and many other Chattanooga sites. Just a few minutes drive. I would definitely stay there again!

This is a great little home away from home if you are staying near Chattanooga. The location is convenient to area attractions and is in a quiet neighborhood. The home was spotless, and the owner considered every amenity that could be needed. We enjoyed reading the history of this little gem. We will definitely stay here if we visit again!

Adorable property, well decorated and clean. The location was not ideeal, as we wanted to be closer to the tourist area and lookout mountain. That's on me for not doing better research though. Because of this we had to cut our stay short by a day and I ended up staying with friends.

This cute house was a nice option for my my family and our dog. It was clean and had everything we needed. It is very close to the highway, so at night it is loud and not the silence I'm used to sleeping in. Overall we had a nice visit and it felt like we could make ourselves at home.

Better than any hotel extended stay with a new kitchen that is fully functional for meal preparation. Beautifully decorated. New bathroom, and laundry facilities made this home away from home. Totally dog friendly, too!

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. Everything was super clean and cute as could be. We would definitely stay again or any other property by the same owner. Worth every penny. Tammy response was quick. The cottage was stocked with everything you could think of. She also provided coffee and some snacks that my husband enjoyed in the middle of the night. We feel blessed to have found this little gem.
