Everything was wonderful! I especially appreciated the AC which was set to a low temperature. It was over 90 degrees in Paris so this made my stay at the Pullman Montparnasse very confortable. My only negative would be the SkyBar. It has a wonderful view but the vibe was for a younger crowd. There was an admittance fee which I thought should be waved or discounted if you’re staying at the hotel. Otherwise this was a great experience. The breakfast was great and the bed super comfy!

The hotel is in a very convenient area. Lots of restaurants and stores around. Public transportation stations are close by. The rooms were clean but the bathroom area has a weird opening with drapery at one side which doesn’t give you privacy when you shower. There was a very bad smell coming from the shower drain. The staff at the lobby bar & coffee area were very nice & friendly. I did not have breakfast while I was there but the restaurant food was ok.

The hotel itself is in a good location in the middle of Montparnasse. Close to the Metro and for us a good starting point to walk to different sites in Paris. The room was ok and clean. Not that big but ok size. Good bathroom. The lobby is too small for the size of the hotel so it was often full when we wanted to sit down and eat our breakfast that we had bought in the nearby supermarket (we didnt think it was worth 140 € per day for us (2 adult, 2 teenage kids) to have the hotel breakfast). The staff is a little "French" in their behaviour and one time one woman in the cafe they have next to the lobby tried to get us to leave. She didn't ask first if we had gotten permission to sit there and eat our breakfast, which we had, from one of her more service minded colleagues. A totally unnecessary discussion. The cafe was at that time 90% empty... Staff at the lobby was generally nice. As a sidenote the elevators are really fast and you dont have to wait more than 5-10 seconds, which is very fast for a 31 floor building. My wife thought that the beds were a little hard, but thats a matter of taste. To summarize; Ok value for money, but not the best we have had in this category.
