prior to Covid I stayed at the garden hotel 6 times a year. It was great to go back. The staff and facilities are amazing, the rooms are very clean , internet is great and their gym facilities and sauna is of high quality.The garden hotel is a great place to base yourself and conduct business.I highly recommend the garden hotel.

Excellent service! We enjoyed breakfast at the 30th floor. Food is yummy and the 360 degrees view is gorgeous. The executive lounge afternoon tea is amaizing service on place and quite and cozy place. Thanks Carrie for her good service.

The both rooms is not a good design for guests to stay because there is only one door for both shower room and toilet room. You can only close one door in a time. Bad design and it is not convenient and uncomfortable to use .

Service is good and very welcoming. 3 different locations for breakfast as it can get busy however issues are with the rooms. There is no privacy between bed and toilet or bath for a twin. So if sharing with a friend a twin room there is only one glass that slides for the toilet and then the same glass that slide for the shower and that’s it no where to change in private. Basin is outside so if one is sleeping another getting ready the entire room is disturbed. The more expensive rooms has a frosted glass partition separating the bedroom but nothing that will stop seeing through. Be comfortable with who you are willing to show your skin with.

I had paid an upgrade for my room at the reception, the receptionist promised that was included the breakfast buffets. However they still charged me the buffets on my deposit. I called couple of times, they never got back to me. Not happy with the service.

My check in . was terrible even the staff insulted me and that happened to me first time in my life but the hotel is ok location is good am giving single star because of the staff only and one more thing I really advice the hotel to change the executive lounge to the old location as there are very limited space sometime you have to set near the toilet and that’s terrible with smell while the full bar seating always empty and wish the hotel the best tnx

This was my first time staying at The Garden Hotel Guangzhou, I was really surprised that how friendly the staff were; other than the cleanness of the place, staff are well trained. They were quick, hard working, helpful, friendly and efficient as the hotel was jammed due to the exhibition time during my stay; it further surprised me was that most of them speak English! I would love to stay there again when I go to Guangzhou again.

We always stay at the Garden Hotel, it’s is a great hotel with great dining options etc around the area. Currently, however there are metro construction works going on which are extremely loud until late at night, was no mention of this when booking or checking in (which might I add takes ridiculously long) The construction should have been at the very least mentioned when booking or checking in, even better maybe offer loyal customers to the Garden Hotel a small discount

Overall, there is no issue staying in the hotel. Unfortunately, there’s a restaurant called “ T H E P E A C H B L O S S O M “, it gave our family very bad experience on our last day trip at Guangzhou. We booked “ Yum Cha “ at one of their function rooms at 8:00 am. After placing about 15 plates of Dim Sims, it took almost one and a half hour ( 9:20am ) to serve the first one dish. Chased 2 times and foods had not come. We had to mention that our flight departing at around 1:00pm, dim sim dishes were started to come one by one. Further, it cost us CNY 48.00 per head, in order to have a private function room. It is so called “ Tea Price “. There were 7 adults, and it cost us CNY 336.00 and this does not include Dim Sims dish. We feel that price we paid does not equal to the service provided and food quality.

This is a time-honored hotel opened decades ago as an official hotel for the Guangzhou Foreign Trade Fair. Today it is still a luxury hotel with many decor updates so it feels fresh and new while keeping a beautiful traditional vibe. The dim sum at its restaurant is quintessential. There is a direct bus service from the hotel to Hong Kong International Airport - around $20. Super convenient.

Beautiful hotel lobby and gardens! Plentiful staff to assist. It’s such a lovely place with people at all hours too! Rooms are good, I’d suggest you book one of their newer style rooms though. Breakfast is good but way overpriced at 228rmb per person per day.

This is a very large hotel located in a busy area of Guangzhou city. It is a good location as there is a subway line 5 station right around the corner of the hotel that gets you to connect to all other lines including the airport and bullet train stations. However the check in process was slow but staff service is good and friendly. There are English speaking staff working at the front desk and restaurants . We had dim sum in one of the restaurants and they were very delicious but expensive. Breakfast was included and it was buffet style with many Chinese and western varieties. Enjoyed the 2 night stay there.
