This is a good hotel with clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Friendly staff on reception. Underground parking is included. There are a few dining options close by, but it is a several minutes hike across roads and a large car park to get to other restaurants in the nearby shopping centre after 6pm, because they lock the doors on the side closest to the hotel.

Everything but the lift. Staff are excellent, food good, evening meal brilliant. Atmosphere first class. Lift, well, at least there are stairs, and it's a healthy option, if you're not carrying too much.

Sadly the lift was out of commission for the night which is never good and should always be in pairs on a hotel of this size. Food reasonable ( substituted some veg in the menu) some noise on front elevation from the road so ask for the back. Overall a nice hotel been .a couple of times just one of those days. Staff friendly and rooms great

Property is very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Transport into the city centre is 5 minute walk away along with a shopping centre. We wepuld definitely recommend and return.

The room doors slam so loud so that people go to their rooms at 9 or 10pm and those leaving there rooms at 6am wake the whole hotel up.

However, on one morning, we were woken up two hours earlier than the designated breakfast time, which was unfortunate as we had a late night prior — though this was likely a one-time occurrence. The only other drawback was that the walls appeared to be quite thin, allowing sound to travel easily between rooms and from the corridor, with conversations inside the room being clearly audible from outside.

We booked 2 nights even though we just wanted to check in early day two. Upon arrival, our room was 13 degrees Celsius and the heat wouldn’t turn on. Had to call the desk, they reset the system. Heat worked for about an hour and shut off. Needed reset 2 more times with calls to the front desk until I was able to turn the unit back on myself. The unit also made loud splashing sounds each time it did restart which it does frequently because it programmed to shut off every hour or two to conserve energy $$. Before we checked out, we planned to shower. Shower diverter didn’t work so we took baths. When I explained everything at checkout, I was told that she could have fixed the shower issue if I would have called and dismissed the fact that the unit would slip into standby mode and she could have fixed that too. I called three times, wish she would have. No apology, no nothing except attitude. Would not stay again.

Had a good stay overall. Only one complaint really. The window badly needs replacing. The glazing is totally inadequate and road noise was a bit of a nuisance in the mornings. One window didn’t close properly and let in quite a draft.

4 or 5th time staying in this hotel and had my first bad experience. Breakfast on the last day, no staff to be found, tables full of empty plates and left overs. A queue of people waiting to be allowed access to breakfast. Whilst we wait, one staff member arrives and fills a plate full of cooked breakfast and then disapears back into the backroom. A guy then appears and lets us through. Only to be treated to no bacon, no fried eggs, cold other items. With the exception of the hashrowns. Once you then sit down to eat your cold cooked breakfast you overhear the female staff member telling the male staff member his food is heating up in the microwave... nice touch to breakfasts.

The hotel is well kept, and the dinner menu is fantastic. The hotel staff are really helpful, especially as I had just lost my Wallett and the Hotel manager and staff went out of their way to help. Fantastic service and understanding and Hospitality given to a stranger to this area. Second visti to this hotel and will always come back and will definitly recommend to others

Wonderful hotel with great front desk staff. They were more than helpful with questions on the surrounding area and directions. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and linens. Most importantly, the whole hotel is clean!!! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Free on-site parking. I suggest getting the breakfast deal with the room rate, it's well worth the price. They have a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast items on their buffet. We had great dinner service in the hotel restaurant with reasonable prices and good portions. Downtown Dublin is a short drive away. They are located close to TU Dublin, Tallaght Campus and The Square, a multi-level shopping mall with several stores. Both within a few minutes walking distance. The mall parking garage has a small self-laundry facility located on the ground level. With the Plaza's great service and convenient location, it is an ideal spot to be close to downtown but out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The area is quiet at night, and we felt safe in walking late at night. We would definitely stay here again.

My 6th visit to this hotel. This time around the staff was very rude on 2 occasions. They have a face on like they are working by force. I had to wait 13 mins to get a coffee. The waiter said 2 mins and he start servihg someone else. He looked at me and ignored me. Even the manager in the restaurant ignored me knowing what i require. In the morning the manager at the breakfast cafe was rude. I asked for a coffee he replied as if i have asked him his house address. The hospitality of this hotel is not what it was. I complained at reception. All i got was ITs OK. I spent £135 a night and this is how i get treated. Will not be coming again..

The one girl that was at the front desk (everytime i went down to ask questions) didnt have a clue, one time I asked about transportation to downtown as I had a tour to take told me incoreect information. I asked again one nught about food around the hotel and she sent me to a restaurant that wasnt even serving anymore...apparently no restaurant in dublin serve after 9:30 and she didnt even tell us this....very disappointed with the staff...will never stay at this hotel again

The Plaza is a hotel i have stayed in for many years and it has recently been done up. Its a lovely place to stay friendly staff great food free wi fi flat screen Tv excellent and tidy foom. The bed is very comfortable to sleep in. Its right next to a huge shopping centre a a five minute walk to a tram that brings you right into town

This hotel is located on a busy route and was convenient for getting around the Dublin area. Our room faced the street but didn't notice any street noise. The room was spacious and well-appointed. If you need to be in this area of Dublin, it is an excellent choice. The hotel is well maintained and managed by friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are a good size and options for multiple beds. The restaurant food was also excellent. I don’t find this is the norm with hotel restaurants so this is definitely worth commenting on. There is a tram approx 10 mins walk away which allows you to access Dublin easily, albeit it is a long journey.

Lovely hotel in the outskirts of Dublin but extremely easy to get to the City Centre by public transport. Very warm welcome at the reception and the bar. I’ve been vegan for years and disappointed there wasn’t a vegan option on the dining menu, a simple pasta vegetable option which vegetarians can eat as well would have been nice. No plant based butter at breakfast. I would recommend using this hotel if you’re travelling around Ireland and you don’t want the hassle of driving into Dublin • A wonderful place to stay.
