The property is well cared for and appears to be new. The rooms have a great layout. Very spacious, comfy and conveniently located. Nice, well-lit parking lot in a safe area. Jesus was a huge help. He was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

It would be ideal for extended stay guests. I missed not having a lobby with an attendant - this did not feel as safe/secure with an unmanned sliding glass door for an entrance. No breakfast provided. In-room Coffee was delicious. Water in bathroom had a bad smell - perhaps from the unit not being used? It was definitely off-putting (my overall star rating would have been better without this issue)

I wouldn't say kid friendly, it seemed more like people working in the area needing a place to live for a bit. However, it didn't feel unsafe or anything Quiet. Front desk was friendly, not there all night. No breakfast.

I stayed in a King suite. It was the perfect size. Theres a living room / kitchen area that is well equipped. There also a fitness room and laundry facility. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need a long term or short term stay near Columbia this is the place for you!

Good place to stay if you need more than typical hotel fridge and microwave. Rooms have plenty of space and a much more homely feeling. Room service is only provided if your stay is more than 6 days. But ample supplies are left to get you through a few days of stay.

It felt safe and easy access off the freeway. The shower had lots of hot water, BUT...BEWARE when you step out, it's a long way to the bathroom floor!!!! NOTHING (amenities), and I mean nothing worked. Not the fire pit, not the grill. My room was NOT stocked with kitchen ware. It only had 2 forks and 1 spoon. NO pots or pans at all. I had to make 2 trips to the front desk to get anything resolved. The light was broke in the LR and a safety hazard. The desk lamp did not work either. The stove had cleaning residue completely inside it and I couldn't turn the oven on without a disgusting smell from it. The front desk; however, was accomodating and helpful when possible

Had all the amenities for our 6 night stay for cooking and doing laundry. Lovely courtyard for hanging out and cooking on the grill.

No hotel lobby (more like a small room with a check-in desk). No concierge area or break room (so obviously no breakfast). Parking was very convenient and property a block from highway so easy in/out access. Rooms with kitchen and separate living room was great. Clean.

Loved that it had a separation between the rooms and laundry facilities on-site

This is a good place for a convenient stay. The ladies at the front desk were really nice. The room was clean but their were roaches. I killed six to be exact. I put my belongings back in the car. Other than that it's a cool little place.

I have already called hotels.com to let them know to take this off their website. It was beyond terrible. This was more of an extended stay apartment type situation. I had seen this before in another state and it was very nice, so was completely surprised to see how horrible it was. Had a motel feel and the hallways were filthy. Quite honestly, I felt unsafe here with my daughter. I tried to leave as soon as we arrived, but there were no rooms in the area because of the soccer tournament we were in town for. The trash had not been taken out, the dishes were dirty in the dishwasher and smelled bad, the furniture in the living room was so gross we did not sit on it, there were crumbs on the sleeper bed,any light bulbs were burnt out and outlets didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t clean and the battery was removed from the smoke detector. When I asked for extra pillows, the manager returned with some that he told me were from his room because he lives there. He was kind, however, this was beyond anything I had ever experienced. The photos have to be AI enhanced. Even though the location and the price is good, do not stay here!

The facility was dirty and the rooms were disgusting. Roaches, stained linens, broken fixtures, smoke detectors removed, no available toiletries. Awful. Disgusting.

Very very noisy the people above us it was awful !!!! I don’t think I’ll stay again as it was just noisy and the floor was filthy I had white socks on and the bottoms were blackened with dirt. Check in was awesome Morgan was so kind and very thorough I even got my extra pillows.

Negatives - The beds were comfortable, but the fitted sheets on them were so pilled and rough we had to lay blankets we brought on top of them to sleep (flat sheets and pillow cases were fine and looked much newer). Overall clean (no trash, hairs, bugs, etc) but when wiping up a small amount of drink that spilled on floor there was a lot of dirt, likely from using dirty water to mop. Also something brown and sticky splattered on front window mini blinds.

This concept is great - the actual product is lacking. This complex is presented as a place to stay, work, cook, live short-term. Check-in - easy, staff - fantastic, the unit clean. The kitchen was dismally stocked. No pans to cook in the oven (the staff stated too many people were causing fires so they removed the pans for cooking), only 1 glass (we booked for 4 people), 1 of the 4 coffee cups was being used as a holder for coffee and creamer on the counter (meaning you had to wash it before you could use it), except, there was no dish soap or sponge or scrub brush provided to wash dishes. No cooking basics -salt/pepper/oil. There was only one pack of dishwasher soap. When we ran the dishwasher on the only setting available, 2 hours later it was still running. We turned it off to sleep and turned it on the next morning - it never did finish it's cycle. The mattress' were very hard and there were no extra blankets. The internet did not have enough bandwidth for all the guests, so it kicked you off over and over, so not a good place to work. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again unless they do a major improvement on amenities to match the concept they are marketing. NOTE: We have owned short-term stay units in 2 states since 2017, so we are not newbies at short-term stays. We have also utilized the amazing short-term stay models in 31 countries, again, not newbies. This could be great - the powers that be just need to catch up to their customer's needs.

I called the number and got voicemail but could not leave a message because her inbox was full. So I texted. She replied stating she was doing a room inspection and to come back because check in was at 3:00 pm. I left and returned about 3:10 pm and as I was trying to check in, I was told I had to put $250 on hold because I was local (within 70 miles) and it was non negotiable. I told her that I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and did not have to pay a fee for my stay. She told me it was a new policy and could not proceed with check in. Luckily I was with someone who lived in Spartanburg and was able to use her ID to check in and avoid the $250 fee. I prepaid for my room through Expedia and it does not state in my paperwork anywhere about a $250 fee for locals. Once in my room, neither television worked and all the dishes were in the dishwasher but had not been washed. Needless to say, that will be my last time staying at any StayAPT Suites...

Very good apartment. HOWEVER be aware that alot of these are used as long term rentals, walls are very thin, and think we were unlucky as we had crying baby one side and guys playing music till 2am most nights the other. Try get an apartment that is not facing the highway as you can hear the big American trucks passing most of the time Apart from that, great area, clean, spacious, everything you needed.

We had Samantha help us at 2am in the morning. Keep in mind she was not clocked in i dont think. She really saved the day. Can not say enough great things about her.

I was locked out my first initial night and had to go to a different hotel until the next morning.

Front desk had nobody present. Had to wait 50 minutes until the front desk personnel returned to the desk to check me in.

Everything was available and clean. Love the office manager she was a really big help.. Definitely will be retruning for another visit.

I absolutely loved this place.It was clean,it was safe,and in the area there was a ton of places you could eat,shop,or entertain the family.

This stay was right next to everything you could need and then some! Lots of local restaurants, shopping experiences and a mall that was a great walk through.

They don't have security cameras around the property. My truck was broken into, the cops said it happens all the time there. No one works in office so they won't help. Very horrible area to stay in i will bennet be back

The kitchen was a true full kitchen, with a real stove with an oven and a large microwave, plus a regular sized refrigerator. This was important for us because we were staying several days. I would recommend asking for a room that does not face the busy highway.
