Good location with easy transport options. Staff were amazing. They were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was very good with buffet style breakfast and dinner with something for everyone. It was good to have a gym and swimming pool. Nothing I didn’t like.

The hotel is actually good for the price. But: - the mattresses are so worn (they slope towards the center), that we slept really bad and had back aches during our entire stay - the rooms are so poorly soundproofed, so you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the hallway/room next door (the squeaking of the carts for house keeping, knocks on other rooms’ doors, and we heard lots of loud banging). Also, the pool was closed when we got there. That needs to be clearly indicated beforehand, cause we chose this hotel in part because of the pool. So, even though the hotel offers very good ‘bang for your buck’, I wouldn’t wanna stay there again next time.

Nice hotel, polite staff, good bar and restaurant. Room was just up tp the standard of Novotels i have used in the past. Location for bars and the ferry to the mainland is good. Swimming pool was a nice facility.

Nice dinner buffet! The rooms need updating and has a smell from being in the tropics. They did put dehumidifiers in the room, but still had an odor. Very convenient location. Gym was decent and nice swimming pool. Was fine for a week's stay.

The rooms look much nicer in the picture than in reality. A strong musty odour and they are quite small. Not a room I could spend a lot of time in working - which is what I was seeking. The lobby is as pictured, quite spacious and lovely. The bar is smaller than pictured,or at least, felt smaller upon entry. Breakfast was good - not as much variety as other hotels I've stayed at but has your basics.

The hotel communal areas are lovely and spacious, and we particularly enjoyed the pool. The rooms were okay, but had a strong damp/mouldy smell. I'm guessing the hotel were already aware of this issue as there were 2 dehumidifiers in the room. The staff were really nice though so overall we had a good stay but probably won't return.

the room got very unpleasant odor. That’s why they put purifier and dehumidifier in each room and aisle . When I checked in, I was waiting for 10 mins . All three staffs were enagaged to help Caucasian guests. When it was my turn, it was less than 1 min. When I carried my big trunk luggage, the two doormen just looked at me and chit chat , they didn’t even bother opening door for me. The desk was unbelievable dirty. The location is not really near the mtr. I fell sick after staying here

The property itself is standard and well maintained. It is the staff that really makes this a great hotel to stay at. They were very accommodating (for example, they allowed me to check in to my room two hours early) and even went a little bit extra by providing a note and cake for my birthday while I stayed there. The location in Wan Chai was super convenient too. If I visited Hong Kong again, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel.

The room was quite small and there were some parts where i felt it was not super clean especially in the breakfast area. I returned a dirty dish back to one of the staff. But the location is nice and close to the pier where you can take Star Ferry, and a walking distance to Wan Chai MTR station.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, easy access to buses and the mtr (subway) system. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed as we were traveling with an infant. We stayed in the queen suite room. The living room and bedroom were both great sizes. The room was clean and modern. We also had breakfast included. The buffet was very good. There were a lot of choices and a fresh made egg station. Overall great stay.

For a Novotel the room furniture was a little tired but comfortable. Very comfortable bed. The staff were first rate. The reason for dropping one star is the breakfast food which had very little for vegans /plant based diets. Breakfast for me was toast and coffee. No non-dairy milk was available.
