Very nice hotel , great staff, not enough privacy in toilet due to glass door. Large pool with swim up bar , need to pay more attention to pool lounges as people put towels down and disappear for hours. Common problem but no effort from hotel to manage.

We have the most incredible stay at the mandira. Huge rooms, comfy beds, great food options, the breakfast was amazing. The pools and waterslides were brilliant for our kids. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Lovely property. We stayed on the cottage and could not fault it. Lovely & clean. Great aircon. A title noisy with the guests next door & on the floor above but the room itself was fabulous. Staff are lovely. , pool and restaurant are great. Adults only pool was good but couldn’t get a chair so only stayed there for a short while to admire the view. Great property for families with younger kids.

Nice resort for families. A few water activities like other resorts do would be great. First day we struggled to find sun beds around the pool as the hotel allow walk-ins during the day to use the beds and pool. I did complain that hotel guests should get 1st priority not people from other hotels. That stopped and now they dont allow walkins during peak season. 😀 Overall staff are fantastic and reaort is nice.

Wonderful hotel. Best I have stayed at over the time. Something for everyone of every age. Accommodation first rate, breakfast had full selection… you were not left wanting. Pools were amazing and location location location. Close to everything. Restaurants, shopping, massages, beach on the doorstep. Safe hotel for mum and daughter. Staff were exceptional, attentive, friendly and very quick to respond to any issues. Glow Spa a welcome retreat - natural products. There for my daughters birthday and they spoilt her with cake, flowers and towel animals (above and beyond what I expected). - Thankyou Bali Mandira - I’ll be back!!!

The Resort was amazing! The room seemed new, clean and modern. The staff were lovely along with the room service attendants who were great! Facilities were clean and safe, the pool was perfect with a swim up bar and great for the kids with fun waterslides. Will definitely be visiting again.

Very nice property to stay for a week. The breakfast included changed enough to keep it interesting. The food overall was ok. Also it has slides for kids at the pool so dont expect quiet.

We were a little disappointed with the Breakfast food the selection was limited. We were offered complimentary lunch due to works at the resort this food was very limited in choice and we had to pay for water to drink with our lunch. Our room was very clean and the staff in all areas we friendly and very efficient.

This was our sixth stay at Bali Mandira, and as before, we were not disappointed. A clean hotel with a beautiful garden and extremely friendly staff. Right on the beach, but also with a lovely pool and a relaxing garden area. We're saying goodbye and hope to return next year.

Azul beach club breakfast was fantastic. Suling club benefits were really good including the cocktail hour. Fantastic staff in the Suling club. The staff were very friendly, but not in your face. They seem to genuinely enjoy working there. Great hotel to go to, really felt like Bali. The one single downside was our room (9004) smelt like mildew and mould.

The room was a good size, when we first arrived there was a terrible smell but they came and changed a filter in the ceiling and was much better. Staff friendly, helpful, breakfast was amazing, kids loved the pool and slides, good location for shopping and arranging tours.

This is definitely the worst hotel we’ve stayed in so far. We were made to wait nearly an hour for check in because there had been a mix up with our booking.(there side not mine) They were trying to make me pay again when I had proof I had paid even showing them the receipt. The room was shocking and very outdated and they said they had given us an upgrade so I would have hated to see what we were actually going to get if it wasn’t for the mix up. We were placed right next to the dining area so was woken up around 5.30am to the sounds of plates rattling as they were preparing for breakfast. Overall a very poor experience from start to finish and I can assure you I would never stay there again. There is far better hotels around the area !!

We go every year and stay in a club room. While its always a nice stay there have been some noticeable cut backs. We no longer get a fruit basket (no big deal) or a nice welcome back message in flowers on our bed. Other then that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The club rooms are very nice with a unique bathroom that at first sight looks like it is part of a cave (but very niice).

The staff make this place. From the front desk staff to the awesome resturant servers we were made to fell welcome and appreciated every day. They way they remeber your coffee order to accommodating dietary needs, nothing was too much trouble. And a special shout out to the security guys wo send you off with a smile every day and welcome you back safely. All in all the amenities and staff justify the price.

Staff were absolutly wonderful. The gardens, pools and dinning/bar areas were well kept and attractive. The rooms are a bit tired and that seems to be the case accross the island and is not a reason to avoid. The rooms were a good size. The partially open air shower was large and felt like a bit of luxury. We had two issues that were fixed by maintenace very quickly, with great service. I recommend a stay at this resort.

Really enjoyed our stay for a family wedding. All staff were friendly and amenities were great. Did have a long delay checking in however this was due to people before us trying to haggle a price and unprepared. Concierge were very apologetic and tried to help where possible. Look forward to returning soon.

Ok in general, pool nice, staff reasonably attentive. Tried to overcharge us on checkout - despite having finalised the bill the evening before they applied a charge from a food order. Asked to see the signed bill and turns out it was a different name but our room number, they said it was a “mistake.” Advise checking all bills against signed receipts.

Bodde två nätter som del i längre resa. Vi trivdes verkligen på hotellet, god mat, bra service och trevlig personal. Området utanför i Kuta är inte i vår stil med skrikande säljare, kopior av kläder och väskor mm.

Super locatie aan het strand van Legian. Veel restaurants in de buurt, winkels en kraampjes. Voor de beginnende surfers is dit top locatie! Tio surfschool is uitstekend om een surfplank te huren en de zee in te gaan. Behulpzaam personeel, super schone kamers, Ontbijt is prima. Wij komen zeker terug naar deze accommodatie.

Wir hatten ein Clubzimmer gebucht, welches auch wirklich total schön war. Auch die kleinen Annehmlichkeiten, wie Getränke und Snacks am Nachmittag. Leider lag das Zimmer im Haupthaus, am Eingang und es war daher sehr unruhig. Auch sind hier viele Familien untergebracht, was wir leider auch hörten. Ansonsten ist es eine schöne Hotelanlage...Leider ist jedoch Kuta zum Ballermann für die Australier mutiert. Auch ist der Strand und das Meer sehr verschmutzt...überall Plastikmüll. Das Hotel liegt zwar am Strand, hat jedoch keinen eigenen Strandzugang. Auch verläuft die Straße dazwischen. Wir waren für 3 Nächte dort.

Lovely relaxed hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens, with statues, fountains and Hindu images. Breakfast was excellent, tremendous choice. The pools were large and there are water slides for kids. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Snacks etc available during the day and not expensive. We had a very nice bedroom in one of the cottages. The hotel is only minutes from lots of restaurants and cafes.

Bali Mandira was a great place to stay. It had a great pool and waterslide which my kids really enjoyed. The breakfast spread was huge, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breadth of choices available . My son enjoyed the kids club. It was very close to shopping offerings , dining options and spas - which we benefitted from. If your coming to Bali with younger children, do consider Bali Mandira for your stay.

Dit is echt een prachtig complex, goed verzorgd met traditionele architectuur. Mooi zwembaden en voldoende ligbedjes. Handdoek service. De spa behandelingen waren heerlijk en ook deze ruimtes zien er prachtig relax uit. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid! De Club was mooi en leuk om te eten ook qua uitzicht op het strand. Welke aan overkant zit. Dus super!!!

Comfortable bed, not too hard like many Bali hotel beds. Pleasant and well maintained grounds. Well designed and pleasantly decorated room. Breakfast dining area could do with brightening up and buffet a bit below what I expected for the rates. Kartika was considerably better with regards to food and beverage for similar price range, especially breakfast buffet.

We had a wonderful experience at Bali Mandira. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the pools were excellent. We also booked a tour and our guide Dodo was so knowledgeable and kind. The food and cocktails weren’t quite as good as surrounding restaurants but not bad either. Highly recommend!
