We had a nice stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Sliema. The property is new and has good amenities with complimentary parking within 5-7 mins walk. It’s a new and modern facility located right in the center of Sliema with variety of dining options, easy access to the beaches, transportation, and supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. The reception and concierge desks were super helpful with recommendations for dining and attractions. Thank you for a nice warm welcome on our special occasion. Highly recommended this hotel.

The housekeepers go above and beyond! They even lined up my shoes! I stayed in the last room on the 6th floor and it was really noisy after midnight, as if furniture was being pushed around. If you’re a sound sleeper it shouldn’t be an issue. Parking is at Welbee’s Supermaket car park in the UPPER level. It would be helpful if there was a sign indicating Marriot hotel because the lower level is NOT for the hotel. When you leave the hotel for the day, make sure to get a validated ticket from the hotel reception AND scan it at the machine or see the attendant before going to your car. The stick will automatically open when you exit. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, location is very convenient, 10 steps away from the main street! I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Courtyard Sliema! We stayed for 5 nights and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. We never had any problems getting a sunbed (although it does get busy) and enjoyed having the rooftop pool and bar. The food that we had during the day was excellent and a great selection of drinks were available. It was obvious that the hotel was new due to its spotless appearance and amenities such as refreshment stations on each floor were very much appreciated. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily to a high standard. The location is great and very close to sliema waterfront and a short stroll away from St Julian’s. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and we used it as a great base for Valetta and exploring the island. There is a fair bit of construction going on around the hotel and there were times when a crane would move overhead but was nothing too drastic and appears to be quite common at the moment across Malta. An amazing stay! We’d highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Clean rooms with modern design, comfortable bed, hot shower. Very polite staff. Good selection of cooked and continental food for breakfast. Spa pool in the basement is peaceful. Pool suitable for relaxing not laps. A dozen or so comfortable loungers. A steam room and sauna for 3/4 people. Plenty of free towels and water. Rooftop pool with similar loungers. Not sure if it’s heated but was comfortable on a warm day. We would stay again.

Ett proffsigt och trevligt bemötande, alltid vänliga och tillmötesgående. Fina rum och bra sängar. God frukost buffé och bra mat i restaurangen. Stort utbud med både pool, solsängar och spa inomhus pool. Välstädat och rent överallt. Nära till bad och till olika sevärdheter. Mindre bra, små balkonger med bara en stol som fick plats och tyvärr värsta bygget som utsikt. Ganska liten takpool men ändå härligt att kunna ta ett dopp.

Clean and neat. Seems renovated/new inside. Service was great, pools were really nice to have. The only thing to note is the beds are not king size. It might be European King size, but if you are from the Americas know they only have double beds.

Staff were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, and an evening meal(on one occasion) and the roof terrace was a good place to sit with a cold drink. We will definitely return. Thankyou for such a lovely stay.

Also es gibt viel Licht aber auch Schatten ich möchte mit den Dingen anfangen die mir gut gefallen haben: + sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal + komfortables Bett und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer + kostenfreies Parken in der Garage (5 min entfernt) + gutes Frühstück verfügbar Negativ fand ich - hellhörige Zimmer, aus allen Richtungen ist Lärm hörbar, Türen schlagen, von oben hört man Schritte, draußen riesige Baustelle - Glastüre in der Dusche schon kaputt dadurch immer Wasser im Bad - Balkon und Aussicht zum Nachbargebäude 3m entfernt (wer denkt sich sowas aus?) - Am Abreisetag wurde schon um 11.15 geklopft wann wir denn das Zimmer verlassen würden (Check-out ist um 12.00)

This is a new hotel in a good location. A major busstop is 2 minutes away. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Valetta ferry (every half an hour). The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Rooms are quiet. The only major drawback is that it offers absolutely no view, even from the small rooftop pool area. Rooms are facing a wall 3 meters away or a construction site (which will turn into a building). It has a restaurant, but in reality it turns into a playroom for guests who use it like a lounge to play cards, talk and watch tv.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge. Rent och bra städat och mycket trevlig personal. Gymmet var ok. Frukosten hade bra utbud men en del saker var ej dagsfärska. På plus sidan gjorde de bra cappucino om man bad om det. Vi hade oturen att bo ovanför gymmet som var öppet 24/7 och det fanns gäster som tränade mitt på natten som störde ganska mycket.

The housekeepers go above and beyond! They even lined up my shoes! I stayed in the last room on the 6th floor and it was really noisy after midnight, as if furniture was being pushed around. If you’re a sound sleeper it shouldn’t be an issue. Parking is at Welbee’s Supermaket car park in the UPPER level. It would be helpful if there was a sign indicating Marriot hotel because the lower level is NOT for the hotel. When you leave the hotel for the day, make sure to get a validated ticket from the hotel reception AND scan it at the machine or see the attendant before going to your car. The stick will automatically open when you exit. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, location is very convenient, 10 steps away from the main street! I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist aktuell noch nagelneu. Die Zimmer verfügen über alles, was man braucht. Die Dachterrasse mit Pool ist großartig, an sonnigen Tagen manchmal aber sehr voll. Das Frühstück ist qualitativ gut und bietet ausreichend Abwechslung. Der absolute Pluspunkt ist das Personal. Ich habe selten in einem Hotel erlebt, dass sich die Beschäftigten So intensiv und freundlich um die Gäste kümmern. Ich empfehle das Hotel ohne Einschränkungen. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay; delivered a bottle of Prosecco and small bite-sized cakes to the room after noticing it was my partners birthday from her passport during check-in, then gave us a complimentary drinks voucher for not being able to check us in (we were early and they managed to get us in at the time we should have been in, but felt bad for saying it might be earlier). Both unprompted and thoughtful gestures.

The hotel was well positioned nearby plenty of restaurants/bars, ferry station and even full blown grocery store. Also an incredible breakfast at a great value (thank you Ms. Finland for the special order of watermelon). However, what most impressed me was the quality of service/attention demonstrated by every staff member I interacted with. This is a 4-star hotel operated a 6-star staff. I will definetley recommend to friends and family when visiting. Thank you!!

When Helen, the Duty Manager, rang up to my room to see if I was happy with it, I told her I was a little disappointed with the view of building site from my balcony. She came up to my room immediately and brought me to see an alternative room which was bigger and had a partial sea view from balcony that I could move to, which I appreciated very much. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful and the pool area was comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Our stay was perfect. The staff in every part of the hotel were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was very good, a little more storage would have been helpful but not essential. Attention to detail was incredible, never stayed anywhere where there is a motion sensory skirting board light that guides you to the bathroom in the middle of the night! Breakfast was delicious, so much choice and freshly made. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was fantastic. We cannot fault this hotel, the incredible staff make it. Thank you.

Wir waren für 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel und es war einfach hervorragend. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, Busstation ist 2 min entfernt. Von dort aus ist die gesamte Insel leicht zu erreichen. Das Zimmer ist perfekt. Top moderne Ausstattung, schönes Ambiente, ruhige Lage mit Fenster in den Hinterhof. Von unserem Stockwerk aus konnte man sogar das Meer sehen :) Das Frühstücksbuffet war perfekt. Alles was man für einen guten Start in den Tag benötigt. Alle Mitarbeiter (vom Personal beim Frühstück, den MitarbeiterInnen bei der Rezeption, bis hin zum Reiningungspersonal) waren durchwegs aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in a quiet, safe, residential area within walking distance of transit and the boardwalk by the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and the hotel offers a lovely breakfast and good amenities. An all-day refreshment table (e.g. citrus water, tea, etc.) would have been nice, though the lobby Nespresso options did help if you're a coffee drinker. A microwave (even one per floor) would have provided some added convenience. TV channels other than multilingual news stations would also have been desirable for those calling it an early night.

We had a great stay at the Courtyard Sliema! We stayed for 5 nights and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. We never had any problems getting a sunbed (although it does get busy) and enjoyed having the rooftop pool and bar. The food that we had during the day was excellent and a great selection of drinks were available. It was obvious that the hotel was new due to its spotless appearance and amenities such as refreshment stations on each floor were very much appreciated. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily to a high standard. The location is great and very close to sliema waterfront and a short stroll away from St Julian’s. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and we used it as a great base for Valetta and exploring the island. There is a fair bit of construction going on around the hotel and there were times when a crane would move overhead but was nothing too drastic and appears to be quite common at the moment across Malta. An amazing stay! We’d highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

Clean rooms with modern design, comfortable bed, hot shower. Very polite staff. Good selection of cooked and continental food for breakfast. Spa pool in the basement is peaceful. Pool suitable for relaxing not laps. A dozen or so comfortable loungers. A steam room and sauna for 3/4 people. Plenty of free towels and water. Rooftop pool with similar loungers. Not sure if it’s heated but was comfortable on a warm day. We would stay again.

Zu den Sightseeingmöglichkeiten per Schiff oder Bus sind es ca. 10-15 min. zu Fuß, Lokalitäten sind auch genügend in der Umgebung.

We stayed there for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary and birthday. Courtyard has done above and beyond! The staffs were very welcoming and friendly. They decorated our room twice for different occasions with complimentary Proseccos and chocolate. We told them we had a late flight on the check out date, and they offered us late check out till 2pm. And we could continue using all the facilities including indoor and outdoor pools even after check out. We are lucky to have Courtyard making our holiday so special and memorable.
