The elevators were not well taking while I am a disabled person I was really hard to go to far staircase to climb up

Spent one night and did not use any amenities other than the coffee maker and fridge in the room. I did see that the gym was tiny and pool was small. Restaurant food was good! What I disliked the most was the $32 parking fee when other parking spaces surrounding the hotel was free.

I wish the pool area were a bit larger, but the property and rooms are very nice.

Beautiful location for family and nice place to walk around with kids. Pool and spa needs updating the tiles are falling off and very old and run down. Spa had green mould growing in it so would avoid that area.

Guys, While this hotel has plenty of self parking available—they only allow you to valet for over 50$ a night!! If you drive right past the hotel—there is a public parking lot right next door on the same side of the road that is from 6$ to 12$ for a 24 hour period. Definitely worth the very short hop over from the public parking lot to the hotel. We stayed two nights and paid 12$ to park!!

Top location, top hotel, very friendly staff! The marina area is quiet an nice and walking distance to Venice and by car close to Santa Monica and the airport. The rooms are newly renovated an comfortable. The restaurant is nice and offers a good breakfst. Only the parking fee of +50$ is way to high - especilially when you don‘t need valet - the cars are parked outside in front of the hotel.

Rooms are quite ok, but swimming pool totaly disaster The hotel advertises they have 2swimming pools :-) But dimension of 1of them is 1x1m :-) 2nd pool very dirty and small with 6 metal sunbeds worser than in 1 star hotel by the motorway No reccomend for this proce You can find better options in this area

they charge for parking, but don’t tell you until you get charged. It would be much better to be upfront so people are not surprised.

Almost everything was fabulous. The pool and hot tub were not available, but hey, these things happen. The only thing that made the experience not five stars was the hidden FIFTY dollar parking fee... even for people paying to STAY at the hotel. Outrageous!

Bathroom faucet handles in sink and shower don’t work properly. Needs a major renovation. Room smelled musty. Noise from street including garbage trucks. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Beautiful views of marina/beach. Room was well equipped. Bathroom was a little ‘tired’ and the hallway was quite musty.

Check in went well, but when we went to our room it was behind big construction area in the hallway. On several locations in this hallway the wallpaper was falling of the wall, and the paint in our room was also falling off. When the window was open it was very loud from the street. There was also part of the time a very bad odor of sewage so that sitting on the balcony or even having the window open was not possible. The best part of this hotel was the restaurant with a very delightful menu and super friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel only to people wanting to stay for 1 night, but not longer. It's not worth it.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. Great location! Everything was within walking distance.

It started off with a delayed check in due to the room not being cleaned. The front desk was very pleasant and gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers. Next we noticed there was no microwave, we called front desk to have one sent to us and it took 3.5 hours for them to bring it after having to call a second time. There was rust coming from the shower handle and the shower tiles appeared dirty or moldy.

We had a 2 nights reservation and stayed at the hotel for a total of 4 hours including a 2PM lunch at the Beachside. Their brunch should be called the boozy brunch because of the extremely loud noise. One of our meals looked as if it had sat under a heatlamp overnight and was inedible. We checked in at 3 and left around 6PM because of the awful smell inside the hallway and room. The room was less smelly, but eventually my mold allergy began to flare and I had trouble breathing, so left and recovered within a couple of hours of being in an unmoldy environment. I was hugely disappointed by the staffs responses to my concerns to which they were quite dismissive and even rude. One even said "We sometimes give receipts," when I asked why I was not given an itemized receipt for lunch? (I wanted to check to see if the bill was adjusted for one of two of the rotton protein served in our salad). Almost 600 dollars wasted all because this hotel did not use a dehumidifier or hyaluronic air cleaner after carpet cleaning was the least of our disappointment. They served rotton food to a person with developmental disabilities while her guardian briefly away from the table.

Nice big clean rooms.

I wanted a marina view and the room had a very slight view of the marina from the balcony only. I tried to switch rooms and was willing to pay extra, however they had no other marina view room available. I was disappointed because I took an out of town friend. It should be advertised as a sliver of a view from the corner of the balcony and not marina view. REALLY????

A year ago when we stayed at the Jamaica Bay Inn, the rooms clearly needed some redecorating and sprucing up. It has been done, and the improvement is terrific! Kudos! We'll be back!

I upgraded to a marina view and paid quite a bit more. For some reason I got like one of the only rooms with no balcony. I feel like that should’ve been disclosed.

The walls are paper thin - stayed there with my family for a special occasion and spent the whole night listening to the couple next door going at it. Very, very, clearly. Super uncomfortable! So be forewarned especially if coming with family and younger children.

We stayed as a family with a toddler, it was perfectly clean with a fridge, coffee/tea making facilities and room service. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel is right on the beach which was nice, the water quality was low so it was recommended to not swim in it. There’s a children’s park on the beach nearby which is handy! The air con wasn’t that cold so would have been quite hot if the weather had been warmer but was ok. A lot of rooms had balconies but we didn’t which was a shame. The location was great if you have a car as there’s lots nearby. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again with children as it’s not that child friendly but I would if it was just myself.

Scam Alert ! Dont Stay here ! I paid for a Marina View room. Not a partial Marina view room. I was still given a Partial marina view room, and then lied to by the front desk. The front desk staff said they considered partial marina view rooms, marina view rooms. Even though I was not given a full marina view. Also, I was not given a credit towards my bill since I got ripped off. Then, there was no valve to open the bathroom sink drain. Therefore, anytime you washed your hands, or brushed your teeth the dirty water stayed in the sink. Leading to an unsanitary bathroom. LA County Heath department needs to audit this Lame Hilton hotel property for numerous health code violations. DON'T get ripped off at this property, and also put your health in serious jeapordy. West Nile virus inspects are bread in dirty stale water conditions as this hotel currently has in its hotel bathrooms.

rooms facing the streets are rather loud during the night, would book beach view next time ;)

Easy check in and nicely updated rooms since last stay in 2022.

Had a water view and balcony which really made our stay. Really lovey sitting out there in the morning watching all the early risers. Had very little interaction with any staff. Reception rarely looked up when you passed by. Parking guys always smiley and welcoming though.

The room we were given initially seemed find only to wake at 8 a.m. with really loud constant pounding. Our checkout was at noon so I was trying to work. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it. Never called me back, so an hour later I enquired again. Oh, it’s construction right under you and they are trying to work as quietly as possible! I said that was not ok and wanted compensation. When we checked out the front desk person, Ana Puente (310)823-5333, said she would give us half off the room rate. She would call Expedia but we needed to as well. I asked for her card, was given hers as well as her Hotel Manager’s, Hee Sung Choi (310)439-3022. We called expedia Tuesday evening, March 26, 2024, Francis the customer service representative, looked at our itinerary number 72053048927392. He said no one from Jamaica Bay Inn had contacted them. He was passing it onto the follow up refund department and we would hear from them within 72 hours. I asked him to attach the contacts we had to the issue so your personal could get to the correct contact. He said he didn’t need to since they would know who to contact. We did get an email yesterday stating they were looking into it. But today, March 28, received an email stating they couldn’t get in contact with anyone at the hotel so therefore NO compensation will be refunded!!! This has been an extreme nuisance, taking up my time and the buck being passed from the hotel to expedia. BAD BUSINESS!!!

At check out, the front desk charged to my room for the daily free water bottles and valet parking that I didn’t use the service. However the front desk credited back to my account immediately for the errors.

Amazing service from the valet to the desk agent!

What an awful experience! Valet’s were of zero help when we drove up. Had to take everything up to our room ourselves. A very unwelcome check in from Christina at the front desk — very inhospitable and must really hate her job. All followed by a dingy room without the balcony and marina views I signed up for. So bad that I left and was willing to loose one night’s pay. Shame on you Hilton.

The view and location are great but absolutely the worst customer service we’ve ever had from a hotel. Front Desk Supervisor (and help) was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

The check-in was a disaster.

The valet attendants are always friendly, a great welcoming smile everytime I go to Jamaica Bay Inn. Sadly, the front desk person lacked friendliness, not welcome and was not preceptive. As I came up to the front desk, she stood next to me working on bags on the desk but did not welcome me or even let me know she was going to help me. Then we she did get to her computer, no smile and I felt like I was carrying the conversation. The room was nice but the furniture and design seemed dated and worn down. We headed to the pool and since it was a bit chilly, decided to use the hot tub which was not hot enough to keep us warm. Sadly another disappointment. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant which is always great service and food. I hope there's more importance put on the front desk staff to me welcoming as they are the hotel lobby greeters and start to vibe for the hotel.

Great location, great restaurant! Rooms are nice - good value for price in this neighborhood. Staff was friendly, however inconsistent on the level of helpfulness. I was unable to reach the front desk from the room phone - it rang several times and cycled through auto-attendant the few times that I tried.

Great location and beautiful grounds. Goid food and other great food options in walking. Definitely recommend.

I was impressed with the location and layout of the facility as it was right off the water and beach. The room was well above average in size, very clean and comfortable! Location is Prime!! Easy to walk to lots of restaurants, shops, etc, with easy access to highways too. Thus facility will be my First Choice when coming back to the Marina del Rey area!

It is located right next to the Marina. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would stay here again.

On the beach, family pet friendly. Beachside Restaurant has excellent entrees so we ate there most meals. Other restaurants nearby were nowhere near as good. The area was very busy with traffic not that pedestrian friendly. We stayed and walked on the beach boardwalk - nice.

Nice hotel in Marina Del Ray within a short walk of Venice Beach.

This is a very cute boutique looking hotel but the problem is where it is located, it is not in a safe area and the Bay it is facing is not very clean and has homeless people living on it. This hotel's patio backs on to the beach and anyone can walk on the premises, one guy walked on to their patio and grabbed my friends butt, we argued with him and he was chased of the property which was very traumatizing, the hotel apologized and I did tell them they need to have additional security or a gate so that these people cannot come of the beach on to their property. We stayed for 4 nights and I watched several times as homeless people walked on to their patio......this is not a safe place for women going alone on a vacation, I felt safer in Mexico on hotels that back on to the beach.

Really cute neighborhood around the property- the marina is adorable and so safe to walk around. 20 minute walk to Venice Beach.

Great room, ideal for families since the bay has such calm waters for wading and paddle boarding. Also there is a beach play ground. Lots of walkable places to eat. The actual beach is about a 15/20 minute walk. Really lovely staff. Rooms are very quiet. The drinks are a bit pricey but that’s every hotel. Overall had a great stay.

Cool hotel at the tip of a little bay. Location is good. Rooms are comfortable. Room service is reasonable. Housekeeping closes at 10:00 pm so if you need blankets after 10:00 pm, no go. Would be nice if the suites were stocked with extra blankets, plastic utensils, and a microwave. Overall it’s a nice hotel and the restaurant is a plus. Great drinks and good food.

Great view, would have liked to have a room with a balcony, but the option was not offered. Otherwise everything was fine. A special shout out to Kenny in the restaurant, he made us feel like we were the only ones he was serving… excellent waiter, !!!

The staff friendly and efficient. The room comfortable. The air conditioner is a bit noisy but efficient. Bathroom lighting amazing. The water in the bathroom gets hot quickly to scalding temps. The faucet if water turned up will spray all over. The beds comfortable the pillows a bit flat but ok. The restaurant has good food. Selection limited. The coffee is good. The bar closes early but when open good cocktails and appetizers. The TV was difficult to figure out how to use so we skipped it. We did not miss it.

Great hotel off the bay. The bar area is wonderful and good for adult night life. Perfect indoor outdoor bar!

It is an interesting property with a confusing room layout. Hotel didn't have enough bottles of water. Restaurant and bar had good food and generous portions. Waiters and bartender were very nice and helpful.

We loved our stay at Jamaica Bay. We read some of the negative reviews and couldn’t understand what any problems were. Our room was recently updated and had a balcony right on Mother’s Beach. The restaurant downstairs offered delicious food and has great entertainment. All of the staff were super helpful and concerned about our stay. We will definitely return.
