There were roaches in the bathroom and on bed. We left after 15 minutes. The front desk did not want to give us a refund. I am waiting to hear back from Hotels.com. elevator was digusting, paint peeling,carpet dirty, no water in the pool. Filthy hotel.

This place is infested with cockroaches. The ceiling in the shower of the first room was falling in because of a water leak that had been sitting there for so long everything was dry but the ceiling was still coming down. The elevator was broken at one point but even when it worked the permit for it was several years expired and it jerks like crazy like it might just fall. After we made them give us a different room because of the infestation we realized that every room in the place stinks like smokers because they have a couple smoking rooms that causes every room in the place to stink like it. We were in the room for just over a week, room service never bothered to change the sheets but instead kept remaking the bed and pretending they had but there was a stain in the same place that told on how lazy housekeeping is. Pool isn't green, but has so much dirt in it you wouldn't trust getting in because they don't bother cleaning that either. Would not recommend this place to anyone that isn't looking for the cheapest place around because that's literally the only thing it had going for it.

TV remote wouldn’t power the TV on or off. I had to do it manually. Two out of three ice machines were out of order. The pull up valve for the shower was hard to pull. The only positive was that the motel allowed an extra hour for checkout. Check in was no problem and went smooth.

Stay away from this place! Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better place. Microwave had roaches coming out of it, bedding was stained, beds were old and uncomfortable, furniture is old. Bathtub looked dirty. Pool had no water. If it wasnt 12am and me being tired from a long drive i would have requested a refund and left.

Checkin clerk was inept. Trashy person in front me couldn’t pay for his room. Held up the line for 39 minutes to have us stand in the rain waiting. Finally got to the front with my non refundable prepaid via credit card to say your room is not reserved. The system stunk in functionality and the room had cockroaches broken toiled seat that slid all over and toilet paper dispenser broken too. Nail polish on the floor coating my shoes with bright red sticky resin. 2 stars is a joke -5 stars. Also elevators broken as well as ice maker. Walk 3 flights of stairs to grab a bucket of ice via walking. Stunk also. So it totally sucked!

The elevator needed attention. The room was very dirty, The curtains were torn. The sheets were dirty. The bathtub disgusting. The sink and vanity not good looking. The light between the beds not functioning. The rack with the hangers all missing but 1 hunger. The carpet disgustingly dirty and stained grossly. The desk chair totally torn and dirty. The walls with steins. The microwave disgusting , same with the fridge. I want my money back.

I am very disappointed it was not very clean and saw roaches inside our unit also the bathroom door wouldn’t close due to a punch hole in the door and bed sheets looked dirty also towels looked brown and dirty smelled pretty clean but just didn’t feel clean at all.

We pulled in after our concert for a late check-in. There were 2 police SUVs and 2 Sheriff vehicles in the parking lot when we pulled in. The windows were wide open, had no screens. The carpets were covered in crumbs or crumb-like substance in multiple spots. There are visible stains on the bed linens. All of these things are referenced in the pictures. The room smelled like fresh poop. You could see inside the room from outside the locked door - it was not sealed properly. My 16-year old kids begged me not to stay there. When I explained my concerns and offered to show the manager pictures, he bexame defensive and tried refusing my request for a printout of my signed copy. He told me he would not refund my card and that I had to take it up with the website I booked through. At 12:30am, we chose to make the 3-hour drive home. I am formally requesting a refund since the room was uninhabitable.

The building was old and furnishings showed it. My room was somewhat clean for what it is (everything old, carpet stains, bed cigarette burns, paint drips on walls, markings on furniture, old- rusted A/C, etc.) My stay would have been acceptable except for bedbug bites, I have 18 or so bites! on both arms and neck area. Didn't start itching after morning check out.

The room smelled like pee. The a/c unit was extremely dirty looked like something was spilled on it and never cleaned. And it had to of been like that for a very long time. And there was mold on the walls in the bathroom. I was in town for a funeral and didnt have time to deal with it. I had car air fresheners to help with the smell

The room smelled horrible. The bed, the bathroom, everything. Windows are glued shut so I couldn’t get fresh air without keeping the door open. The bed was janky and constantly moved away from the wall. The TV isn’t necessarily broken but it takes about 5 minutes for the screen to turn on. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way and was very difficult to shut. The door to the hotel room luckily did shut and lock but it took a bit of heavy pushing to get it to shut all the way. I really can’t stress this enough but the smell was AWFUL. The best way to describe it is butt and mold. Everyone who worked there was very polite though.

The air conditioner didn't work correctly. After 6 hours at 80 degrees, I turned it to 86 and it continued to blow cold air, so I had to turn it off. Had to ask for hand towels and wash cloths. They and the bath towels were super thin and disappointing. There was no ice bucket or glasses in the room. Will never stay there again.

We got in very late, had to call the front desk for instructions on how to use the television ("no signal") and the wifi password. Stay booked for 2 people, only one washcloth and face towel.

Even for the money - it is a cheap 2-star hotel - this place was bad. Cigarette burns in the blanket, no door on the bathroom bad. The front desk was friendly enough, but no help. Had the town not been sold out on rooms due to a large event, I’d have taken the loss and booked a different place.

I stay at this hotel quite often and usually my stays are really great which is why I preferred to stay for a night last night. However when I checked out this morning the man at the front desk told me that he didnt have my deposit which i remember paying in cash because the young lady gave me a $10 bill back. The guy told me I would have to come back and its been a back and forth ordeal over my deposit. Its really frustrating especially when I know that I for sure paid my deposit and I stay at this hotel all the time (at least 3-5 a week)

It was a great experience. I've never had a hotel staff be so nice and didn't have me answering all kinds of questions or bothering me during my stay like most of the others do. Both staff members were so calm and nice and didn't try to make it more difficult .

First they didn’t have my reservation. Although I had a confirmation number. I had to pay at the front desk also. Double billed. Than toilet kept backing up. The phone in the room wouldn’t call the front desk. I had to get the plunger and do it myself. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and told they weren’t on the prioerty. The front desk girl gave me their number which turned out to be the hotels number. Turns out the owners were there. They live on the property. I asked for asked for my money back. They did they’d refund my card and I’d have to leave. I said not until I’m refunded. The owner matnence man and front desk girl all round. I went back to my room they called the police and had me removed. With no refund. Worst hotel experience ever

The hotel is outdated and needs to be remodeled. The staff was friendly and patient and displayed fine costumer service. We stay in hotels often and one of my top concerns is how we are treated by the staff mainly the front desk. The travel lodge treats their guests with respect and makes everyone feel welcome. The rooms are not that nice and not very clean. It next to shopping and restaurants all walking distance and the public transit is close by as well. Located in a not so nice area. The hotel is what you would expect for the price I have no complaints.

I enjoyed my stay! Staff is super polite. Quick service. Location is safe and quiet. Our room smelled clean when we walked in. Pretty room! Convenient place off the freeway. Best security deposit I have ever put down. Only $50! Prices per night are also very affordable. 10/10 stay. Definitely recommend and definitely rebooking!

This Travelodge is in a convenient location to Rancho Cordova or Arden-Arcade, affordable, decent area. However the property is rather uncleanly- walkways are dirty and need powerwashing. Hotwire claimed there were coffee makers in rooms, but coffee was only in lobby. Room lacked washcloths, drinking cups.

This stay was the furthest thing from acceptable. Not sure how it has managed a 3 star rating. Listing promises continental breakfast, employee advises that has not existed for almost 2 years. Employee was alright. Helped with lost key and easy check in. Rooms are horrifying. Holes in blankets and sheets from cigarettes, bathroom straight out of a horror movie, lights that buzz like they want to explode, deadbolt was impossible to lock (slept with chair in front of door for some kind of safety), sticky carpets. I felt gross just having slept in the bed. I know I paid $98 for it but it was not worth even $50. Never again. I grew up traveling on a budget and have never stayed in a place so unsafe and disgusting. As for the area. Very close gunshot, which not in hotel control, but it tells you it is not somewhere that you would want to stay. Don't do it.

The toilet paper holder was not functional, leaving the roll on the bathroom floor. There were no hand towels, nor a bathmat, only bath towels and washclothes. The bedside lamps were not plugged in, and when moved to a plug did not work. The room smelled musty. I was on the 3rd floor, and upon leaving this AM the elevator was out of order. Less like a Wyndham, more like a travelodge. There was no coffee maker in the room.

They claim they serve breakfast, no breakfast, pool is out of order seemingly permanently, roaches, the shower didn't work at all the second time I stayed, had toddlers banging on my door til after 3 am and screaming being a menace and their grandparents screaming at them up and down the hall, sheets had skid marks, and pretty sure this place is the bad kinda haunted lol

Set my sights low, but was still disappointed. The breakfast bar? That room doesn't exist. Stock photo from another site. No wifi. Very uncomfortable bed. Site was clean, but very dated. Staff was very friendly. While it was very inexpensive, I won't be back.
