The excellent quality of the hotel was the highlight of ou parties visit to Chertsey. It made everything else possible. Apart for the good room(s) we also ate their five times during our two day stay and used the hotel garden as a business and social venue. Very good food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, helpful staff, and free abundant parking.

Booked this online, was given no prompts that this was in fact a building set, pub was shut down and kitchen for food etc. In the morning bank holiday Friday builders were making noice before 8am, around 7.15-7.30am which I thought was bad and made lots of noise. If I knew this was like this I wouldn’t have booked, disappointed when I booked nothing was highlighted about what was going on at the hotel.

The hotel rooms are very tired, marked walls and worn carpets. Lighting dreadful for working in the evening. Pillows very poor quality. Just very unloved hotel bedrooms. The lift has been out of order for sometime. It looks like money is spent on the pub and garden.

Plenty of secure parking at rear, friendly helpful staff, large room with air conditioning and good breakfast. The pub is in great condition, the room was clean, but could do with some refreshing…it smelt damp and the corridors are in need of redecoration. We used it for a Heathrow flight the next day…20 minutes by car and would on balance use again as it’s better and more reasonably priced than on airport hotels (which can’t guarantee a parking space).

Hotel is currently under refurbishment which should be stated on booking sites. Arriving at the hotel to be told the bar and restaurant are closed isn't ideal. I cannot fault the staff or the room, just feel if there are restrictions in place they should be stated when booking your room. I would stay again when the works are complete.

Welllll, we got there to be told that the restaurant was not open so we had to go 2 minutes down the road to a different hotel for breakfast which actually turned out to be 17 minute's away! The breakfast was ok the first morning, but then horrendous the next morning. I specifically asked the hotel to do something cute for my son as it's his 21st bday & nothing! There was stains all over the walls in our room, blood on the curtain, the safety catch on one of the windows were broke, & the one bath towel of the 2 we had, had what I can only assume was blood on it! You also have to call the hotel EVERY time you want to re enter after a certain time of night which is just ridiculous! I would add photos but this site doesn't seem to let me!? Also, they put me on the 3rd floor with NO working lift! (Absolute joke)And to top it off, they had workmen there from God knows what time in the morning on both days! Pretty annoyed overall.

I booked this hotel as I was travelling alone for work so wanted to have a restaurant on site but being busy I had not read the email that was sent once I'd booked to tell me the restaurant was under renovation. However, that meant that I thankfully discovered a great place next door called Dosa that served really good Indian food that I would highly recommend. I bought breakfast food from the Sainsburys over the road to eat in my room. Room was comfortable and well decorated.

Great location in Cherstey, right in the center of the town. Easy walk to shops, eateries, convenience stores, Sainsbury's for shopping and cheap gas prices is virtually across the road on side street opposite. Easy free parking on site. Variety of rooms that can be requested in advance of arrival. Charming Crown Pub on site with good pub menu and drinks choices, though somewhat overpriced for a pub. I was visiting friends in the area and then leaaving for LHR for transatlantic flight next day. Big clean, comfy bed, super cozy and quiet for restful sleep. Bathrooms needs TLC, repairs and renewals. Surprised that there was no face flannel in bathroom or available upon request. Numerous business traveller/guests during business week. Hairs found at the bottom of the bath and side of the wall in the shower. Clearly not cleaned from previous guest! Towels all frayed at the end, this wasnt the end of the world as they were clean. Every 10 to 15 throughtout the night there was a alarm noise which kept me awake the majority of the night! Wouldnt recommed. The receptionist manager asked how my stay was on checkout advised him of the situation and presented him with images. He agreed to refund my stay.

Stayed here for one night after attending a concert in Twickenham. Check in quick but receptionist not very welcoming. Room smelt a bit on first entering, this was the bathroom, this needs a good scrub or replacing. Toilet stained, taps and sink grubby, grouting yellow and stained, skirting boards filthy, soap holder in shower rusty and no ventilation in there. The carpet stained and rotting under the air con unit and a huge cobweb left on the french door. All this is easily sorted then the room would be perfect! Great bed, had a fantastic nights sleep, lovely big tv, lovely tea tray, decor lovely and was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, can't fault that at all. Improve the bathroom and carpet and it would have been excellent.

We arrived at 11.30 and explained that we would be checking in later after a wedding. We asked if we could leave our bag and we’re told that they didn’t have any space. The lady on reception was unnecessarily rude considering this must be quite a normal request at a hotel! We checked in later to find the most filthy room. Dusty, dirty, leaking taps, really unhygienic. The only saving grace was the food at breakfast which was really lovely quality and the restaurant area was clean and welcoming.

Booked as working away from home. No one on reception on arrival so followed the instructions on the desk and then a member of staff arrived. Room (number 2) was large and had chairs and a side table as well as a desk to work at. Bed comfortable. Room was not spotlessly clean, with cobwebs in the corners of the room and hairs on floor of bathroom. Lighting in room was not bright, and there were no ceiling lights. Parking was free.

We were at the hotel only for one night so we didn't see much of it. There's a very convenient parking area. The rooms are a decent size and quite comfortable with free water and a coffee machine and pods, a boiler and tea. The bathroom, especially the toilet were rather dirty (we were in room 1).

The staff were very nice however my room was incredibly dark and cold with one dim floor lamp and one dim table lamp. It was too dark to read or get ready for events if you wanted to see yourself. Also there was hair in the tub when I check in! Yuck!

The staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was nice and freshly cooked. However the cleanliness of the hallways, bedroom and especially the bathroom left a lot to be desired! If the cleaned and painted areas this would be a beautiful hotel and one I would revisit as it is I will not be back!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with a group of friends. My room was on the ground floor of what I’ll call the annex. It was comfortable and well equipped, but the night time lighting was very poor with only bedside lamps, a desk lamp and standard lamp all of which had dark shades. The only window in the room was a set of French doors which led to the patio, not very private and there was noise from public areas and you couldn’t really open them for ventilation. Fortunately it had an effective air conditioning unit. The public areas were extensive inside and out. Food and drink prices were quite high in my mind, London prices I assumed. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant meals were generally ok, but my main course for dinner was just luke warm. There were some alternate excellent restaurants close by. There was a large free car park although this got very busy on Saturday night mainly due a function going on. Staff were helpful and friendly. The annex had no lift. Not sure I would stay here again.

Stayed here before but in a different room (across the carpark) and by comparison this one (in the courtyard accommodation) was looking a bit tired. The room itself was good, comfortable and well-equipped, but the bathroom was in need of a refresh to the point of being pretty shabby.

This was once a great hotel that is now in poor condition. The room we stayed in had black paint marks everywhere, fridge didnt work, old cloths stuffed behind a storage heater, downlight hanging out in bathroom and ripped furniture in family area. The hotel and adjoining pub requires complete renovation.

On arrival, greeted at reception, checked in quickly and efficiently. Went to room but alongside outside courtyard and very noisy, also bed was still normal size and I had upgraded to king size. I went back to reception and asked for a quieter room, which he sorted straight away. On entering the new room had a king size bed. I had asked for peppermint/ mint teabags in room, but in fairness because I had changed rooms there wasn’t any in the new room. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfy.. Bathroom was clean, but plug holes full of hair, (pet hate of mine), I’m a cleaner so one of the things I notice.. Room needs a bit of TLC, but I know they are currently updating.. Breakfast was of good standard, plenty of choice, fruit, yogurt , pastries, nice bread, choice of juices, cereals and cooked.. Staff in restaurant area very friendly Would stay again if in the area..

Staff were polite and welcoming. Had a top floor room. However, the blinds had been left open so the room had got very hot during the day and the air con wasn’t strong enough to cool it down so would just recommend on hot days in the top floor rooms to keep blinds shut to help the heat trap

The sole real issue was only one very dim ceiling light and only 1 dim bedside light in the room. I had to use my iPhone light to see how to use the coffee machine. There appeared to be 2 more spare plugs for missing table lamps. I went to see the receptionist who spent at least 10 minutes searching several places for lamps. With no success. We were offered a change of room, but my wife had already changed for bed so we stayed in the gloom.

Friendly welcome. Comfortable rooms however the ensuites need updating. Very poor night's sleep due to partygoers hanging round then air conditioning unit beeping and switching on and off all night! Tried to sort problem ourselves but unable to. Night porter rude.

Desk staff were lovely and helpful especially with the lack of parking. When it came to the cleaners not so much, i could hear them shouting and swearing as they were cleaning the rooms waking myself up numerous times. I found used hygiene accessories next to the bed side table on arrival and hair around the plug hole. Only minor things but something that will easily be on the cleaning checklist. We stayed at this hotel for a trip to Thorpe park and met every need possible, only a 5 minute drive from the park and 24hr access along with plenty of eateries around to enjoy. Cheapest hotel around chertsey when booking. Definitely beats premier inn and travelodge as they were disgusting!

We arrived at 11.30 and explained that we would be checking in later after a wedding. We asked if we could leave our bag and we’re told that they didn’t have any space. The lady on reception was unnecessarily rude considering this must be quite a normal request at a hotel! We checked in later to find the most filthy room. Dusty, dirty, leaking taps, really unhygienic. The only saving grace was the food at breakfast which was really lovely quality and the restaurant area was clean and welcoming.

On arrival, greeted at reception, checked in quickly and efficiently. Went to room but alongside outside courtyard and very noisy, also bed was still normal size and I had upgraded to king size. I went back to reception and asked for a quieter room, which he sorted straight away. On entering the new room had a king size bed. I had asked for peppermint/ mint teabags in room, but in fairness because I had changed rooms there wasn’t any in the new room. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfy.. The reception staff were welcoming, however we were told on arrival that we had breakfast booked and what time to get up etc. we got up early for this only to be told no, we didn’t have breakfast included at all. Got up at 8:30am so wasn’t all that happy and ended up just leaving and going elsewhere. Room was decent, nice size and comfy beds. Also had air con/heater, nice coffee machine and tea etc. There was a few stains on the floor and the bathroom could of been cleaner. A lot of it was due to the hard water but this could of been cleaner and also the taps were really far back so hard to wash your hands without covering the entire sink. The bar staff were nice in the evening, fairly priced drinks and beer garden was really nice.

From the initial phone call right through to departure all the staff we met were welcoming, attentive with nothing too much trouble for them. Even afterwards when I realised I had left the charger for my phone and kindle, the receptionist said they had been found and that it was no trouble for them to package them up and send them to my home address. Excellent example of how customers should be received and dealt with. Have no hesitation in going back again. Well done to all involved.

Friendly helpful staff member on reception checked me in and she explained everything parking breakfast local amenities etc. I stayed in room 20 in the annex which was comfortable clean & quiet ( even tho it over looked the pub courtyard) the bathroom soap dishes & toilet seat needed replacing but that was my only gripe 😁… on the whole a lovely hotel in the centre of chertsey with attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere… I did not eat there due to working late so can’t comment on the food

Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park

Plenty of secure parking at rear, friendly helpful staff, large room with air conditioning and good breakfast. The pub is in great condition, the room was clean, but could do with some refreshing…it smelt damp and the corridors are in need of redecoration. We used it for a Heathrow flight the next day…20 minutes by car and would on balance use again as it’s better and more reasonably priced than on airport hotels (which can’t guarantee a parking space).

Easy walk to shops, eateries, convenience stores, Sainsbury's for shopping and cheap gas prices is virtually across the road on side street opposite. Easy free parking on site. Variety of rooms that can be requested in advance of arrival. Charming Crown Pub on site with good pub menu and drinks choices, though somewhat overpriced for a pub. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had toiletries and coffee making facilities. The beds were comfortable, including our daughter's pull out bed. The stairway and corridors were a little unclean and would benefit from a vacuum. The evening meal we had in the pub was lovely, and the breakfast was fantastic value for money with a huge selection of options being offered.

The excellent quality of the hotel was the highlight of ou parties visit to Chertsey. It made everything else possible. Apart for the good room(s) we also ate their five times during our two day stay and used the hotel garden as a business and social venue. Very good food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, helpful staff, and free abundant parking.

Booked this online, was given no prompts that this was in fact a building set, pub was shut down and kitchen for food etc. In the morning bank holiday Friday builders were making noice before 8am, around 7.15-7.30am which I thought was bad and made lots of noise. If I knew this was like this I wouldn’t have booked, disappointed when I booked nothing was highlighted about what was going on at the hotel.

Hotel is currently under refurbishment which should be stated on booking sites. Arriving at the hotel to be told the bar and restaurant are closed isn't ideal. I cannot fault the staff or the room, just feel if there are restrictions in place they should be stated when booking your room. I would stay again when the works are complete.

Welllll, we got there to be told that the restaurant was not open so we had to go 2 minutes down the road to a different hotel for breakfast which actually turned out to be 17 minute's away! The breakfast was ok the first morning, but then horrendous the next morning. I specifically asked the hotel to do something cute for my son as it's his 21st bday & nothing! There was stains all over the walls in our room, blood on the curtain, the safety catch on one of the windows were broke, & the one bath towel of the 2 we had, had what I can only assume was blood on it! You also have to call the hotel EVERY time you want to re enter after a certain time of night which is just ridiculous! I would add photos but this site doesn't seem to let me!? Also, they put me on the 3rd floor with NO working lift! (Absolute joke)And to top it off, they had workmen there from God knows what time in the morning on both days! Pretty annoyed overall.

I booked this hotel as I was travelling alone for work so wanted to have a restaurant on site but being busy I had not read the email that was sent once I'd booked to tell me the restaurant was under renovation. However, that meant that I thankfully discovered a great place next door called Dosa that served really good Indian food that I would highly recommend. I bought breakfast food from the Sainsburys over the road to eat in my room. Room was comfortable and well decorated.

Only negatives: Shower slightly dirty and rust on bathroom floor, empty toilet roll tube left from previous person.. Room fantastic, bed super comfy, restaurant and bar area was perfect, food outstanding and reasonably priced for area. We visited Thorpe park whilst on our stay here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience as a whole, would stay again 9/10

We had room 50 in the attic of the armoury. Very spacious beautiful room. Air conditioning was very welcome in this weather This was our second stay. Very happy we chose to return. Helpful staff and lovely food in the pub. We will be back!
