This is going to be a great hotel once the construction is finished. Loved our time on the beach with the included chairs and umbrellas. They made it very clear with multiple emails that the pool and restaurant would not be open so that didn’t bother us at all.

The Andaz is brand new and everything from the lobby to the restaurant to the suits has been done immaculately. I am a local (Surfside resident) and we just stayed at the Andaz for 2 nights to enjoy the facilities and celebrate my birthday. We definitely enjoyed our stay! We checked out all the facilities; Everything looked great. The Gym is fully stocked with everything you need for a good or even serious workout. But it was hard to find it because signage is not great in the property. Same goes for the Spa. It was beautiful, the only thing it missed was not having a steam room; but if you don’t mind not having a steam bath, it’s just perfect. The dry sauna is very nice and spacious. The Spa also is not well marked so you must ask where to go. As a guest, a guide of where things are is a good idea. The staff could not be friendlier and helpful; they’ve earned 20 out of 10 - kudos to all of them for their professionalism. They meant to help and make our experience a good one and they did that very well. The rooms are very well appointed and the suite we had was beautiful and comfortable. I will definitely return and will encourage my friends and family to consider the Andaz in their next visit to a Miami Beach.

I was making reservation through Expedia and did not check the hotel website. On their page there was a red notice that hotel is under renovation. As a result, not only there was a lot of noise 8 - 5 but we were asked to move to another room after three nights. The manager removed the resort fees for us to compensate for the inconvenience. They had no restaurant on the premises and we had to go look for food nearby.

The pool is closed due to renovations and it looks like it will be closed for a good while… also the “deck” is closed so you cant go there to observe. Ive never stayed somewhere where they still charge a daily resort fee while half of the accommodations aren’t available. Felt a lot to put a $300 Hold in my card. It aas an okay stay but id look else where or wait until renovations are done

The rooms are spacious and clean, but the hotel is under construction. I do NOT remember reading about this on Expedia prior to booking. This was significant because there were no dining options on site except a ‘carry-out’ type of place for snacks. This was not so bad because the hotel next door had excellent dining options. The main issue with construction at the hotel was that the pool was closed and there was no use of a neighboring pool. It is a good thing we are ‘beach people’, but it put a bit of a damper on the kids’ plans.

The hotel never mentioned to us that they were undergoing renovations to their pool. The whole back area was closed off and had no access to anything in the back Except for the beach. The hallways of the hotel gave off motel vibes by the lighting. And we found a cockroach in our bathroom! It was absolutely disgusting!! Never staying here again

In our 5 days stay, our rooms were not cleaned multiple times. When I asked house cleaning why they didn\'t clean my room - I got an answer of "too many rooms", which means they are probably understaffed. In addition, I left behind my favorite dress pants in the closet, and even tough I called it in the next day, they were not recovered. I got a hard time of even getting lost and found to talk to the cleaning lady to see if she found the pants.

Relaxing stay at this boutique hotel. On the beach and hotel provides 2 chairs and an umbrella. Very clean and nicely decorated. Aguasal restaurant is very tasty, along with the food by the pool. Service was great everywhere. The rooms are pretty small, but clean and modern. Mid-beach is a quaint area— not happening like South Beach. The beach boardwalk is lovely and there are a few restaurants walking distance from hotel, but not huge selection.

I liked how easy it was to navigate the resort and it was such a short walk to the beach… I enjoyed the beach service and the drinks and food were pretty good, considering it was “beach service”. I loved our room. We had two full bathroom with stand up showers, that’s very rare. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well as the service. Overall, this was definitely a great stay, I would return with my family for sure.

Our stay was amazing!! We had an early morning flight in and had called the day before to see if we could do an early check in. We understood we might not be able to get in, but would still be able to use the amenities and they would hold our luggage. Upon arrival at 11am, both rooms were ready for us which was such a relief! The rooms were super clean, great atheistic, and spacious! We went to the pool all 3 days and had pool side service which was great. The days that it was busier, the service was a little slow but no big deal! We felt like we were on a tropical vacation. The hotel decor, aesthetic, and vibes were amazing! Great location as well, a little less busy than south beach.

I liked the location, the staff , the proximity to the beach. Only complaint is that room has a mini cooler, not an actual refrigerator. For $650 night , it should. The worst part of the cooler was the noise it makes while one is sleeping.

We have stayed in many properties on South Beach, and this was absolutely our favorite. The staff is so helpful. Everyone is chill and yet attentive. You don't order food at the beach and wait an hour for delivery. Everything is kind, thorough, thoughtful. The cleaning service is mindful, leaving little extras that you use more of than others, everyone greets you, the service is friendly, but not overly eager. Folks-be kind to the beach staff. They have no control over the weather and when umbrellas have to go up and down. Those humans on the beach were some of the most patient people I've ever seen, dealing with complaints about THE WEATHER, or the staff not wanting guests to be speared by flying umbrellas in storms. Those are tough jobs, and they do them so well. Will happily stay here again.

My stay at the Andaz Miami was a huge letdown. Room service took over an hour to deliver a latte, and after three follow-up calls, I was told to just keep waiting. For two days, my room wasn’t cleaned, even though I asked the front desk in person and by phone. I was also given an ADA room for no reason, and the bathroom fan was loud and turned on automatically with the light. Overall, the service was unprofessional and careless—not what you’d expect from a so-called five-star hotel.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. I had an issue with my room upon check in and a supervisor was knocking on my door to address the issue and switch my room within 5 minutes. After that I had no other issues at all. Beach services was great and although a limited menu the food was really good. The hotel is undergoing renovations but they were very communicative about that and what was available and what wasn’t ahead of time. They also sent reminders. I was able to speak with someone about anything via text as well while there. They even texted me to state that my room wasn’t cleaned (I put the do not disturb sign on the door) and to tell them what time was best for them to return if I wanted them to. This is my new go to spot in Miami and I can’t wait until renovations are completed.

The staff at the Confindante were all very helpful! The refrigerator in the room was not working, told the front desk and they had a working refrigerator in are room in 20 mins. Staff very friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. It was a very relaxing vacation with the help of the the staff at The Confindante!

This one was really a bummer. Not only were we not notified about construction before booking, they also mentioned it would not be loud, just no pool access. It was very loud. The AC did not work in our room at all. Asked 3 workers for help and found out upon checking out that none of them actually put in a work request to fix it. They also tried to beyond double charge me for a room service item. Really not a good experience

The hotel was great. Access to the beach and boardwalk is what we really liked. The staff were courteous and friendly. Dining options around the hotel were limited. The pool wasn’t available due to construction but it was not an issue for us. All in all a good stay and will recommend staying there!

The ANDAZ is perfectly located. Amenities all around. The hotel is luxurious yet family friendly. The lunch we had at the bar around the pool was incredible. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Service was amazing . I highly recommend the ANDAZ.

The fact that the pool area is under construction is not mentioned when you book from a third party. That’s not okay!!! Also, there is nothing special for Friday night. No show, not a night club. The breakfast was very good and the beach area is great.

I stayed at Andaz during Art Basel this year, and it was a wonderful experience. Super welcoming staff, incredible breakfast buffet, nice pools, and literally everything you expect form and excellent hotel! I would certainly go back!

“A very beautiful, super clean, and cozy hotel. The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The restaurant is delicious, with excellent-quality food. An outstanding experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!”
