Very basic but ok for an overnight at the airport. Don’t expect anything fancy. Hotels.com doesn’t advertise that the transfer is chargeable. £22.50 for a 5 minute drive. The property is tired and not particularly aesthetically kind on the eye. The staff were friendly. No food at 7:30. Bar is basic but functioning.

Our check in was very smooth and friendly. We ate at the restaurant which offered a good choice of food and the staff were very obliging and helpful. The position of the hotel in relation to Gatwick Airport is very convenient and the hotel offers a shuttle service for a reasonable price. There is also free parking available. A great place to stay.

Just a quick overnight for an early flight from Gatwick. More than convenient, easy transaction, small but nice room and the offer of airport parking which we were unaware of and had already booked. Building work currently, but didn't make any difference to us and several pubs etc a short walk away in Horley

A very average place but acceptable for one night. The place looks to be permanently in renovation so not to actually do any upgrades. The transfer cost £13 extra, that equates to an hourly rate of £200/hour

We had an overnight layover and this hotel turned out to be a great choice to rest and recharge. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bar stayed open late with food options available. Staff was friendly and the lunch at the cafe and dinner at the restaurant was great. The chicken wings, buttered chicken and naan bread was just what was needed after hours of travelling. Coffee and water was available in the room. We did have a few drinks in the bar and sat back and relaxed in the outdoor sitting area. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to Horley town center (which has restaurants, pharmacies, bars, wetherspoons, Tesco, etc) and train station. Texaco, with an asda express, is only a 5-10 minute walk up the road. Bathrooms were clean and shower had lots of pressure and hot water. Beds were ok but my cousin found she could feel the bed springs in hers. We had trouble getting the heated rack in the bathroom to work but that may have had to do with our lack of knowledge on how to use it. We used the shuttle service to get to the airport which was cheaper than the 20 pounds for taxi to the hotel from the airport upon arrival. The hotel suited our needs and the price was right for the end of our 2 weeks vacation. Would consider staying at this hotel again.

We stayed here as we had an early flight from Gatwick the next morning. Once we got in our room we noticed that it hadn’t been cleaned. Behind one of the beds, there was dirt, a used cotton ear bud and other wrappers. We then moved one of the beds closer to the other, only to find dog food scattered under the bed! This automatically made us uncomfortable to sleep in a room, knowing it hadn’t been cleaned. Also a heads up to travellers, although it seems dogs biscuits are allowed in the room, a mcdonalds is definitely not! They don’t allow external food, in the rooms incase it makes it ‘dirty’. Yes it’s a budget hotel so we weren’t expecting the ritz, but I wouldn’t recommend this.

Room was incredibly basic, floor was dirty, walls were dirty, bedding was stained. I dont know if we were above the kitchen but there was a VERY strong smell of food coming in to the room. The windows could do with an upgrade too since its on a main road. I would say you get what you pay for, although we had the superior room, so i would've at least expected a clean and presentable room. Luckily we were there just for one night but it wasnt a comfortable one.

we came to reception to complain no one around tang bell a few times our room was unsuitable sheets cover and illow were dirty did'nt get much sleep could'nt get tv chanells we did get the man to pir room but he did'nt even try to help the room was horribl we had to wait nearly 20 minutes

Staffing very friendly, but the room was filthy Mold on ceeling, dirty carpet full of dust, behind the one bad I found a pair of socks, some left over food, hair all over the bathroom floor. We could not stay, my husband have Asma and allergies.

Room was too hot, with no controls. With string winds outside, couldn't leave the window open. Seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned, though the beds and bathroom where fine. We were able to walk to a fine pub for dinner. Their restaurant is very small and there was no one there when we tried it. The bar is only open after 6pm, so we couldn't have a drink on arrival. Price is reasonable and they did have transfer to airport.

Just under a mile away from the Horley train station and a short drive to the Gatwick airport. Rooms are spread between the first and second floor with shuttle service and breakfast options available. Minor issues with the room where the shower was not draining properly, but was still able to freshen up. Like most houses in the UK no AC units were available in the room, but the window and time of year provided enough cooling needed for the night. Staff are friendly and the rooms were quiet enough to get a restful night's sleep before my flight out the next day.

Affordable room near Horley pubs and train station. The room was very small and warm. Opened the window and bees flew in while I was sleeping. Got stung twice. Should consider puting in a screen. Staff varied from good customer service to no availability. The airport shuttle is hit and miss.

The room wasn’t as pictured. I got a double bed but inside the room was the double and bunk beds which made the space incredibly cramped and feels closed in. In the pictures it was just the double. The bathroom was spacious enough, the room was clean. A mini fridge would’ve been nice. The beds were too soft for my comfort level but otherwise check in/out was quick and easy. The property itself was decent and the location was perfect. Quick and easy walk from the bus you would need for Gatwick and a convenience store nearby too.

Shame to see wallpaper in areas of the hotel ripped and missing. A lick of paint is needed to brighten the place. Feet were hanging of the end of the bed. I guess you get what you pay for. Three very very small beds crammed into a very small room. Wish I had payed more for a better experience

They said they had a shuttle to the airport but they didn't. They said they had a restaurant on the property but they didn't. There was hardly anything for the continental breakfast. The staff was often absent from the desk.

The customer service was not great. The man at the front desk was rude and gave the impression that he didn’t want to be there when I was asking questions. The overall cleanliness was also disappointing—the carpets were old, stained, and dirty. The towels provided were worn and old. Additionally, the television in our room was not working properly. The remote control wouldn’t function correctly, and when I informed the staff, they immediately said it did work. I called again to follow up, and they sent someone to check it. He told us they would have a new remote by the next day, which never happened. In the meantime, we were told to turn the TV off using the button on the back. This is clearly poor customer service, especially if they are unable to replace something as simple as a remote control. While the fee is not the highest, it’s also not cheap. It may be the more affordable option, but paying a bit more elsewhere would likely be well worth it.

On checking in, we requested borrowing a hairdryer for our early morning start. Despite an extensive search one couldn't be found, even after checking empty rooms. A short while later, there was a knock at our door. One of the staff was there with a brand new one they had obviously been out to purchase. Overall, the reception and owning staff were very helpful.

This was perfect for three sailing buddies just returned from Croatia late at night who needed a simple overnight stop somewhere just 10 mins from the Gatwick North Terminal. The triple bed room, although compact, was very clean, comfortable and adequate. Cooked brekkie was very good. And all at a very low cost for accommodation and brekkie! Staff were very pkeasant. Highly recommended!!!

The greeting at reception was friendly, I confirmed my car to Gatwick for the early morning. There was a delicious aroma of curry from the dining area. I asked if there was a hair dryer in my room, and was given one, straight away. Just enough time to wash and dry my hair, before sampling the curry!

Booked with parking and breakfast, they insisted on charging for parking and wanted to charge for breakfast. This was then taken off the bill, however breakfast consisted of instant self made coffee, no hot offerings, even eggs! Cutlery was very poor wooden offerings. Left in disgust as staff were very unhelpful as well

It was a last minute booking as I had made an error which left us with no accommodation. We were so relieved that they had a room & breakfast included. We were booked in promptly even though it wasn't check in time. We were offered upgrade for English breakfast for 2 &transport to airport. We were happy with both but it meant an extra cost of £25. We later regretted this as our English breakfast was a let down, I had to find someone to make sure we got the breakfast we paid, mushrooms were cold, sausages were nice but not worth it. Transport was a bit dear but it meant we didn't have to worry about missing bus to airport.
